Papa Murphy's | Take 'N' Bake Pizza

The staff were decent and personable the food was made correct I’m  not a fan of the stuffed crust here it is to much dough not enough cheese service was good especially considering the young age of the workers

I stepped into the store and had instant customer acknowledgment from the desk attendant.  My pizza specialist was careful of how he prepared my pizza's and made sure I had everything I I needed

Never had a problem with the staff at this location. Definitely always go there when I'm hungry for pizza!

The two girls running the shop tonight were quick and helpful. I've written off PM for a long time but the pizza is great! Good customer service and a tidy shop. All told, we were there no more than 10 minutes with a few folks in front of us. Very quick. I LOVE the gourmet veggie pizza. It's basically everything veg but the sink plus cheese and galic sauce. It's absolutely delicious. The veggies are fresh and good quality so that they're quite flavorful.

Hate being negative but the gentleman who served me tonight was just in a bad mood. Came in around 7:15 approx 45 min before close and they were already emptying the wells and starting to close. The gentleman who took my order was in a pretty bad mood and clearly just wanted to close which I understood that didnt bother me. But the 2 family size pizzas I ordered just had very very little toppings on them of any kind which just kinda rubbed me the wrong way. Please dont ruin my order because your angry and want to close. Overall though normally a great establishment I come here often.

Bop's Pizza

Decided to try someplace new and boy were we happy with that decision! This place has fantastic pizza! Sooo good, definitely coming back here again! And the staff were so nice, treated ya like you were family. Best pizza place in CR for sure!

Great food, decent prices, the service was great.  The guy baking the pizzas noticed we had small children and asked if it would be helpful if he cut the pieces a little smaller for them.  Have to love a place that still cares about quality service and good food at fair prices.

The service will definitely make you special and are easy going for the more pickier orders. NY style was great! Their Crab Rangoon pizza was one to remember.   Their marinara was :chefs kiss:! Coming back for their Chicago style!

After reading so many comments about Bop's, I had to give it a try.

•Restaurant Layout/Vibe Rating - 5•

Far more spacious than you are lead to believe from the outside. Ample seating with artwork pieces that are completed puzzles. You have table seating on one side and booth seating on the other.

•Customer Service Rating - 5•

Once the family and I entered Bop's, we were promptly greeted by smiling faces. The gentleman cooking the pizzas waved and said hello with a big smile. It was like we knew each other (in all honesty); we did think we knew each other; I'm pretty sure it's a kindred spirit thing.

We were checked in with multiple times and had excellent service throughout :)!

•Appetizer - 5•

Cheesy bread with tomato sauce. I loved this! They offered to cut it into eight pieces which worked perfectly for us. It was so good that I was trying to keep my expectations down on the pizza. I love to get myself so pumped many times to where I feel a bit bummed after the excitement build-up, and it wasn't the case here :)!

Where to start. We ordered a New York:

Queen Margherita
Five cheese blend, fresh Mozzarella, Roma Tomato & Fresh Basil

And a Detroit-style Pepperoni (this style can take between 35-40 minutes), but you can't rush perfection! I would wait all day, every day, for that pizza ;). If you are in a rush, it might be best to order ahead.

It was fantastic! As some have said, the tomato sauce is just perfect, I was hoping it would be amazing, and it was). It balances the sweet and salty so well. One can tell this is made fresh and in-house. The crust was delicious as well. With a light, crispy, texture and is also made by scratch in-house.

For those of you that need a Gluten-free option, that looks wowie, it is also offered at Bop's. Seeing other Gluten-free crusts really makes you appreciate a crust like this. See attached photo; it's hard to believe!

•Dessert - 5•

We went all out. Ordered ruhbarb pizza. The Rhubarb is brought in from local sources, and you can tell it's so fresh. It's got that tang and fresh taste that you can only get from an excellent fresh rhubarb. WE LOVED IT. We also tried out the sugar cookies, and they did not disappoint! I HIGHLY recommend the dessert pizzas with the experience we had.

I just wanted to make a note here for those that wonder. They also had some beers on tap, which are in the attached photo.

Fun Fact: It's not on the menu, but you can order Chicago-style pizza on Tuesdays until they run out ;)! Better mark your calendar!
They also have vegetarian options.

To sum this up, we found our new favorite pizza place in CR/Marion!

Ate here with some friends last night and for 5 of us, it was our first time. Pizza was incredible and the service was some of the best I have ever experienced. We will definitely be eating here again very soon!

Radiant FX Salon & Day Spa

I have been getting weekly appointments for my acne and hyperpigmentation for the past month and the services have been amazing. Jessie makes sure you’re relaxed and comfortable before getting started. Calm music plays and she asks questions to figure out what’s right for you. My skin is sensitive so I thought everything was going to take longer to get rid of but I’ve been getting microdermabrasions done gently and the results have been fasttt. Jessie also has many legit products to purchase for home. If I ever needed any other services, I would definitely come here.

Jess was great..my 1st time gettin waxed and I did the full on Brazilian wax..quick n easy less painful then I had pictured in my mind..shes the one to go to

Jessie was great at getting me schedule and services completed! I only had a short window of time free in my busy day, she got me in, made sure I wasinformed, comfortable and relaxed! She did an amazing job and the deals are incredible! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟10 out of 10 recommend! I will defintely be back! 💆‍♀️

AMAZING SERVICE! AMAZING STAFF! Finally made the leap and decided I was going to try some waxing. Checked Groupon and decided to go with Radiant FX and I am SO glad I did! I was so nervous about the whole experience, since I've never waxed anything but eyebrows before, and had read so many articles about how painful it is your first time... Either those ladies have never had children or Jesse is THAT GOOD! There were a few uncomfortable moments but nothing that made me want to jump up and run out of there and Jesse kept me talking and laughing that next thing I knew we were done and I was setting up my next visit. Also, Radiant FX is a one-stop shop with AMAZING pricing, which is perfect for us women (and men) on a tight schedule and not a large wallet! DEFINITELY CALL AND CHECK IT OUT!

I am so mad. I feel bad because Jessie was nice, but what a hack job. I went for a brow tint/wax. I just wanted my eyebrows cleaned up and evened out. They were basically shaped how I wanted them, and I said I didn't want rounded eyebrows, I wanted them arched/angled a bit, basically like they already were. My eyebrows are now almost non-existent. They are not even close to looking even. There were a ton of little strays left behind, and some places she waxed just broke the hair, where it then left more stubbles. It's going to take a lot of time to get these back. Don't go there. The lighting was awful, the place was really dusty. She was "taking a class" during my appointment, listening to a lecture but not paying attention to anything. I just ended up saying "ok, I'll leave it" so that I didn't lose more of what little eyebrow was left. I went to a different salon immediately after and there is NO fixing this mess, just daily eyebrow filling for me for a while. Just avoid this place, seriously, it's in your best interest!

Sugar Shack

We spent 4 days in the area and ate here 4 times. Great burgers and the Philly was great too. I like that they allow you to refill your drink yourself. We also enjoyed the associated ice cream stand. Prices are reasonable. It'd be great to see the port-a-johns go away and proper restrooms get built.

I have wanted to visit this restaurant for around 20 years and we were finally in the area around dinner time and made it work. As long as you go here expecting a frozen patty that’s been grilled in appropriate levels of grease with similarly prepared toppings, you’ll be super happy. Unfortunately, I failed to prepare my wife thusly. 🤣

The food was good. This is definitely a spot off the beaten path. The building is in rough shape, and there was standing water in the bathrooms. But despite that it was good.

Loved this for an awesome burger and fries with the guys.  Wouldn't hesitate to bring family, too.  Nice people and service.  Bar seating, indoor tables (tight seating), and outdoor seating.  Super small place that puts out big taste.  Restrooms are in the basement, watch your head on the way down.

Lil hole in wall spot with excellent service and burgers. We stopped in while riding ATV in hills. Ice cold beer available.

Great staff! They really help you navigate and get the best deals. The rewards club helps too and is easy to use. I loved the fresh gorgeous food. It kept in my fridge until we wanted to cook and eat it. Just wonderful!

My best experience with any Papa Murphy's in the Cedar Rapids area!! All of the employees are SO nice, considerate and personable. They listen to what you order, ask/double check so they don't make any mistakes, and greet you when you enter and exit. That's true customer service, and it goes a LONG with me. Keep up the awesome work!!!

Cappy's Pizzeria

The wife and I were just stopping thru town and thought we would try something new. Glad we found this great pizza spot. Sauce was delicious, dough was perfect, highly recommend

Cappy's is my favorite pizza joint. Hands down the best Chicago style in the area. The sauce is fresh and obviously made in-house, not from a jar. The cheese bread is fantastic. Always has just a bit of char on the bottom from the oven and is crispy and delicious. I love the choose-your-own beer cooler. Always a great experience.

This place is Great! There decor, service and food is wonderful! They have a huge variety of beers. Decent wine selection for a pizza place. We had the Cesar salad which we literally ate completely all of ....like nothing left super good!! And for pizza it was a New York style medium veggie add pepperoni and it was legit...BOOM.....2 of is were only able to finish half partly due to the massive Cesar we took down and the glasses of Cabernet but I love leftovers!! Can't wait to go back......like seriously tomorrow.......Love it........Fin..........until next time pizza gods.

I was pleasantly surprised tonight, I'm pretty picky about pizza. This place is awesome, delicious pizza! We got the Cappys Chicago and it did not disappoint. I have been a local that loves Zoey's...this place I have to say is even better. I'll be returning on a regular basis. Not to mention the two kids behind the counter were very kind and the place looked great.

Excellent service and the small tossed salad was super fresh, cold, and a large portion for the money. New York pizza crust was a little thick for my liking, lots of good cheese 🧀...could have used a little more meat, but still good.

New York Gyro Marion

I love love LOVE this place! The food tastes GREAT, it’s authentic and reasonably priced! Perfect place to stop in and grab a bite. The owner is very nice and makes you feel welcome!

While the seating is limited, if you like a place you can get to know the owner, this a good place. We have always enjoyed the Mediterranean flare of this restaurant west of Midtown Marion on Seventh Avenue‼️

I live 40 minutes away from this restaurant l, yet I come here often. The Philly Cheesesteak is to die for, the perfectly made gyro comes with more meat than you can eat in two sittings and everything else is perfect.

The food was fast and very delicious. A little bit too much seasoning on the fries, but everything was very fresh. I would definitely go back.
Not the most tables… Or the most atmosphere… But good food

Great food, I had the gyro and fries. First time having cilantro in a gyro, but it was okay.
The atmosphere is nonexistent, but tables were clean.  I ate in, so it would have been nice to have a napkin. I think they are used to people just doing take out.

Love the concept of this place. There pizza are great. Long day at work grab a fresh pizza take home bake and enjoy. Not frozen pizza quality by any means. I diffently recommend.

You make your own order so if you don’t like it then you don’t like your choices

Bought a taco special online, got it home thru in oven waited my 15 minutes 5 minute cooldown I sure was anticipating a great pizza since the first one was so great 😀 boy was I in for a rude awakening not only did it not have refried beans they put a ton of onions on a pizza for a fructose intolerance and onions kill me, and I do believe that 2 stars is being very generous

As long as you make sure you're not getting shorted on your toppings, this place has some delicious pizza! And you can't go wrong the the family size...although that only seems to be fitting for 2 if you get thin crust like we did so...do the math! Great pizza and fair service. Price could be better but you really eat what you pay for in the end.

Ohana Poke Shop

The food is delicious and fresh. The staff is friendly. The atmosphere is a not somewhere I would love to stay and sit so we took ours to go. But overall this is a great addition to Marion!

Great food, small mom and pop shop. They always have fresh food. The food has amazing flavor and healthy! Usually can get 2 meals out of the large bowl.

The food is always delicious, the people who work here always make me feel like I'm truly welcome and they're very helpful with suggestions.  The portions are very generous and the options are varied enough that there's something to please anyone.

This place is delicious! If you love sushi in a bowl this should be your go to!! I ordered the hurricane poke bowl and it was amazing! You can also build your own bowl. Regular size bowl was a heaping serving. Staff was friendly and service was fast. Highly recommend checking this place out.

This is a new find for me. It is on the outer edge of Marion in one of the newer stip malls. I saw it one day when I was driving by and thought I would give it a try. So a few days later, I went. I walked in the door and was immediately greeted by a young lady who was polite and nice. She asked a few questions to help us narrow down our choices. I got the Iowan bowl which has pork belly in it. She prepared our poke bowl quickly and efficiently. We both got regular size and found out that we could not finish it and ended up taking it home with us. The food was fresh, the pork belly cooked very well. The veggies has good crispness to them and the rice was cooked well. It was not crunchy and it was not overcooked. We both chose the white rice but they have brown rice and greens for the base if you want.  You can pick from their preplanned bowls or you can create your own if you are feeling ducky for it. I would recommend this place for anyone that like fresh food and a bit of adventure. Some of the bowls have raw fish so just be aware. They do have vegetarian options and some pretty safe choices but also some choices that not everyone will jump on, such as the spam musugi, which I found that I liked mostly but probably wouldnt order every time I went. I would recommend this place as the food was fresh and well prepared, is different than most places and the people are friendly and polite. The price isnt too bad as we both ate twice off the regular size.

McDonald's

Wait time wasn't the greatest. Employees on the cell phones in the prep area, no gloves were used while prepping food. We ordered extra mayo and they gave us extra, but looked as if the burgers were thrown together.

My main reason for visiting this McDonald's is the deals on the app. Most of the time I order coffee and customize the flavor/sugar in it. I would say 70% of the time it tastes correctly.

I am sorry to say we won't be going there again.    We had to wait going on 10 minutes to get anyone to even acknowledge us, and then they finally took our order. It seems that if you don't use the app or are a drive though, you aren't important. There were approx 15 employees there. The one who had to squeeze by us many times to deliver an order to a waiting car did not excuse herself once. There was no politeness from any staff. The food was just run of the mill McDonalds food. Thumbs down. Sorry...

We bought fries 🍟 .Mac chicken and it was delicious 😋 taste and environment was so good 😊 we did photoshoot outside of this machdonald and had a lot fun there it was our memorable meal and time ❤️ we will never forget this spot and will visit again when we will be in this area.
