Papa Murphy's | Take 'N' Bake Pizza

I ordered online, which is easy and great. I still find it absolutely annoying that they automatically add a tip to your bill, thus 4 stars for acting as though I am obligated to tip. I was in the pizza industry for 24 years, and hardly ever were CSRs (insiders) tipped. I tip because I want to, it should not be set as a default when trying to pay. As for the pizza, it was fine and made as requested. Still not too enthused about the 5-Cheese Bread, I've tried it a few times and no matter how I attempt to cook it, the edges/crust rise way too much and the cheese gets center-loaded. I have also tried it enough times to come to the conclusion (in my opinion) that it really does not taste that good. I've never had a bad pizza from PM and in fact, Papa Murphy's has some of the best crust I think. I will continue to purchase their pizza products.

Just feedback. I tried to pay my bill with a $50 bill and was informed to use nothing higher than a $20. With inflation, a fifty is the new twenty. The counterfeit argument is not valid. Any size bill can be duplicated. Had to use credit card which costs your store 3% anyway and is a pain sometimes.

First time at this location.  2 mini pizzas were good.  However our medium order for beef and onion turned out to be sausage and no onion.  What’s up????

Order was ready on time and perfect, it made a busy Chiefs Sunday a lot easier. The owner met me at the door with my order!

Would be great if they were open when they said they would be open instead of letting their staff close early. It’s cold pizza for Fsake

PuroClean Property Restoration Services

Had a great experience with PuroClean. I recently put in a new AC and the installers didn't check that the condensation was draining correctly and they also didn't add kill switches for when water started to build up. So a week later when two upstairs bedrooms, the hallway, and the ceiling in the garage were damaged by water dumping down I googled for a restoration company. I called John with PuroClean and he was there in about 20 minutes to check out the damage and start working on restoration. His team were in quickly to tear out the wet stuff and start drying everything. It was very reasonably priced. John took care of providing all of the contractors to come in and replace everything and it was professionally done. They worked hard to meet my schedule and were flexible but prompt. They even found a piece of an old intercom system that was in my house and had gotten wet causing the rest of the system to mess up. His electrician found the part and came out and replaced it. Highly recommend PuroClean.

A slow leak in the dishwasher caused an extreme amount of mold inside the walls. They came out and addressed the situation, then after removing the molded material and treating the remaining structure, they tented the area and placed a commercial size dehumidifier and heater. Mold and odor gone!

John and team helped us replace our living room ceiling earlier this year due to a leaking upstairs shower. Great experience start to finish. Quick turn around and all of our mold concerns were taken very serious.  Thanks

When mold appeared in our garage, we spoke with several companies. John, the owner, was the only one who discovered the root cause (water damage from leaky pipe in shower). He was very professional, made sure we had a full understanding of the issue and answered all our questions. He put us at ease and made us feel confident that the issue would be handled properly.

We were VERY pleased with the removal of the mold, along with the construction work on the garage wall and ceiling. If we ever need a contractor to repair water damage, etc, PuroClean will be the first company we call.

Working with this company was as nice as could be, from start to finish! Super prompt to reply and schedule, super helpful and did such a nice job!  I hope I won't need them again but if you're dealing with water damage, don't hesitate! I'll also say they were half the price of another restoration company I got a quote from!

Missouri Town Living History Museum

What an experience! It feels like you stepped back into 1855. We attended the Independence Day celebration and the people in each of the stops were fantastic! It was fun asking them questions and seeing their wardrobes! This is something fun to do with the whole family or alone. There’s a lot to see and a lot to learn. Be sure to allow enough time!

This was the coolest little town. It has a one room schoolhouse, a blacksmith, livestock, and several other neat buildings with employees in time period clothing. Everyone is nice and informative. It was super affordable, and the gifts shop gifts are so cute.

Visited on a semi-rainy day so that did dampen( excuse the pun lol) the exploration a bit and the picture taking.
Otherwise definitely an experience to gain historical knowledge.
The staff are incredibly knowledgeable and walked observers through the various buildings, how they were transported to the venue ( some were, not all) and had insights into way of life and the animals also!
They were warm and friendly:)
Definitely a day out with the family, the kids will have a blast.

Cost to enter was $8 pp. Nice, cheap fun day out!
There are sodas and water for sale in the ticketing office that cost a dollar each.

Went December 2, 2023 for the Christmas Celebration and it was very disappointing.
Nothing was really decorated. No open fires to get warm by and no Christmas treats to enjoy. Went to the tavern first and the women in there were talking about their modern lives and ignoring people who were walking in.
So much could have been done for this celebration. Homemade wreaths to be sold, hot cider and special Christmas treats. Even homemade bread could have been baked and sold.
Each building displayed homemade food but nothing was explained or offered.
People were dressed up in character but not acting in character. Only a handful were true to their role.  There was a modern day food truck at the beginning of the town…really that stuck out like a sore thumb.
Maybe a different type of food should have been provided.
The characters could have walked around singing Christmas carols. Old time games for the children.  The General Store could have been greeting people and handing out candies.
So much could have been done. The coordinator needs help planning this event.

We did do a carriage ride and it was nice.
Looking at the old buildings made the walk pleasant but otherwise very disappointing!

The Fall Festival is worth the trip. I had not attended in probably 15 years at least, so it was a surprise at how much it has expanded. Still has all the period actors running the town as it would have been in 1855, but they have added vendors and many more food options. Last visit it was hotdogs or nothing, now there are 10 options at least and all are Boy Scout run. Plan on lots of walking and probably dust.

Employees are literally brain dead. Also they wanted to charge an extra 2 dollars if I swapped pepperoni for tomatoes on a kids make it your own. How do you charge for down grading from an expensive protein to cheap vegetable. And honestly it’s not even that, it’s the brain dead delivery of how they approach the situation.

I'm here every Friday on my way home from work.  Xlny 9.99 special is awesome. Throw on whatever toppings you want at home and cook that bad boy up.

Love at 425 degrees... Cooked on the grill and it turned out perfect.

The people here always very friendly, even when they're super busy.   We always get the "Delight"  pizza crust.  They're so good.

Joanna and her whole staff are really nice. The pizza and sides served here are great. Normally, when I walk in they already know my order and they start working On it instantly. I never have to wait. I'm never disappointed with this store. I'm always greeted with a smile and I believe they do their best to please the customer.

The Big Biscuit

This place is a no brainer for breakfast. I have never been disappointed. I ordered online most recently and the process was super easy. My food was hot and ready by the time I arrived to pick it up and it was DELICIOUS! I'm a petite person but I feel like each portion can serve 2 people or make 2 meals as they are HUGE! The pic shown is the leftovers!

Came in just after noon on New Year's day, so we fully expected a wait. Hostess told us about 30, and while I understand that estimate is subjective, it was nearly an hour.  That wouldn't have bothered if it wasn't for the fact that by the time we were seated, nearly half the restaurant was empty, and there were more than a dozen people waiting to be seated. I have no idea why the delay in seating people but tables sat unoccupied for at least 15 minutes prior to my group being seated. Food and server were great.

This place was just down the road from our Hotel so we decided to give it a try.
SO glad we did! Everything was amazing. The decor was GORGEOUS the service was GREAT and the food was DELICIOUS. I'm pretty sure it's taken me longer to get my food at McDonald's than it did here! And they weren't "slow". Many tables were full of happy people enjoying delicious food.
Well done The Big Biscuit! We will definitely be back again!

I placed my order and I tipped the girl. I asked for butter and syrup for my son's pancakes several times. Also, I specifically requested no butter on my toast, but it was included. In addition, I ordered oatmeal, but as you can see in the photos the bananas are bad. I had to pay two dollars extra for that.

Prep to wait, at least 35-45 minutes if going around breakfast/brunch time of the day.

The food comes out relatively quick. Can see why they have the name “Big” biscuit. The food was good enough, the pancake could have been cooked a little longer (undercooked and soggy). Though the serving size will definitely have you feeling stuffed and satisfied.

Worth going nonetheless if you’re in the area and what breakfast. Though there is a wait.

We ordered the Country Benedict, 2 egg with bacon and a biscuit and a Bonut. Eggs were done well, sausage gravy was flavorful, biscuits were springy and not crumbly. However, the highlight of the meal was the Bonut that my friend ordered. It was a biscuit dipped in french toast batter and dusted with powdered sugar.  It tasted like a funnel cake and was really good!

Visited around 11:30 today and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. Our server,Sam, was attentive and had a fun personality- she overheard we were celebrating our friends' bday and surprised all of us with a bday song. Very thoughtful. The food was great! I had THE BOSS TOM in a wrap in-place of bread- deliciouso! Highly recommend. As many times as I've been to the Big Biscuit, various locations, it does not disappoint.

Service was great; fast and friendly. We got there Sunday shortly before the post-church crowd.  The picky seven year old didn't like anything,  but that's normal. I took off a star for the "breakfast potatoes" (or whatever they called them) that were literally chunks of steak fries. How about some nice pan-fried potato cubes with onions? Otherwise the food and prices were equivalent to other,  similar places, though the biscuit was,  indeed,  tasty.

Staff was very nice. I ordered the lean and green but mushrooms were almost raw and some were even cold. The egg whites were runny and the Turkey looked like sliced sand which meat.
The fruit was fine as was the coffee.
Thank you or your reply.  I would definetly do that next time but I was very short on time.

The challenge was the atmosphere and cleanliness of the place.
Very beat up and worn out. 😔
Not like a cool, worn-out like a nice dive.
Just super rough.  To top it off, the restroom was totally disgusting.
Smelt of sewer in the hall before you even went into the restroom.
Hopefully,  they'll work on the restroom and invest in the deterred maintenance.
It had a 20-minute wait & was full.
So, take care of the place. Freshen up the restroom.  Please 🙏

Don is the man!! Scott the new manager is amazing and friendly as well, happy to have all the staff there. So welcoming and knowledgeable too!

This Ace Hardware is well-kept and the people are great - specifically Debbie. Debbie always provides thoughtful, next-level customer service. She hooked me up with a calendar last time and I know someday she'll get me signed up for the rewards too. I kept saying I don't come in very often, but it's becoming a go-to spot! 10/10 would recommend visiting this store to experience the service they provide.

Westlake ACE Hardware is a one-stop merchant for just about anything you need or want for home repair,  yard maintenance,  or tools and fun stuff. They're close, and more convenient than the big home stores ,

Just had to make a Review,  I been going the this location now for about 2 years,   Mostly for Lawn Care and EGO Power items,  One person seems to always be around to help me out. If you sign up online and not have to download an app that's great for me I hate having to download an extra app so anyway if you sign in online or sign up online you get an immediate 3 bucks off your first order. Besides everybody loves at least one or two pizzas from Papa Murphy's I love their chicken bacon and ranch I also like to do with the garlic sauce instead of tomato sauce on a pizza you guys need to try it out it's different and super awesomely good total heart attack in the future lol. But it is fantastic you got to try the garlic paste instead of tomato unlike the pepperoni or the chicken definitely winners. Also you got to remember they take EBT and they have some very competitive prices if you need to feed your family and your poor like me you can feed your whole family for under 20 bucks heck yes! I just love that inflation don't you guys? Thanks Brandon

We love getting the pumpkin shaped pepperoni pizza on Halloween! Last year getting it was a disaster because we phoned in our order, but it still took two hours to get it! This year, it was no problem at all! It was great to see they improved! The kids love the kids make your own pizza too!

Double bacon cheddar is the best pizza ever.
Watch for it to come back.

Cheese sauce instead of tomato sauce makes it kind of like grilled cheese.

In my opinion this location has the best pizza in the KC area. Yes you have to bake it yourself but that’s just one more reason why it’s the best!  You can see the ingredients freshness and quality. Nice people working as well.

With prices going up, we’ve been getting a large pizza from here 2-3 times a month. I have yet to be disappointed in any pizza I have ordered.
