Walmart Supercenter

One of the best and cleanest Wal Mart. The fresh  fruits and veggies were well stocked. There's workers there always keeping everything all neat and clean. The deli customer service was very nice, friendly, and courteous.

Well stocked store,didn't have many checkouts open

I would have given five stars, however the guy at the door stopped me and I don't have time for that because I don't steal. Thankfully my dog who works back in electronics told them not to do it again. Therefore the next day that I visited they did not stop us so they are learning thank goodness.

Very rude walmart employees that blocked instore shoppers. Hopefully management will address the problem.

This Walmart have a lack of seriousness as it relates to the handling of clients equipment and or the service provided. There is no quality control inspections done after work there. I advise anyone that receives work to do a pre-trip inspection. After finishing up my inspection after having four Goodyear tires installed, I noticed that they had scratched my rims really badly with the crowbar. They also tried to play on my intelligence and tell me that I was missing a lug nut that I know for certain I was not missing. After leaving AutoZone by a $5 lug nut, I had to return to Walmart and tell them they broke my valve stem. I didn't have any problems getting that fixed after I advise them that I had already left a complaint and I will be leaving another one and I also voice my concerns with the manager on duty Saturday morning named Tammy. Those employees affect the integrity of Walmart and is subsidiaries the way my car was handled. The tires alone were $1,000 so I became really frustrated to see how they had scratched my rim up. The lack of care and the lack of professionalism that the employees at the tire center possess Saturday and Friday morning is ridiculous. Both mornings I I greeted the employees and received no answers like I was speaking to myself. Then after 15 to 20 minutes of waiting to tell them that I have a schedule appointment for tire installation there still was no greeting. It almost felt as if I was bothering them! I'm never going back I just needed my tires installed. I have had several experiences that's why I had my tires mailed to my house because previously I had the tires mailed to the store and couldn't even get the tires because of some release that they need, even though the tires were paid for online and I had receipt with me. I usually don't leave reviews but because this is Walmart and I have been doing business with them for several years, it deserves a review. I also made a complaint with Walmart corporation and is waiting a response. More photos available upon request

Joy in electronics doesn't need to work in customer service she lacks any kindness , friendliness , or helpfulness .
Dear Manager please watch her behavior on video, she is a disgrace to your company on 12-18-2023 at 9 pm. She said i don't like customers like you and told me to go ring up front even though I was already told to wait for her to be done with another customer.  Why she told me to wait and then leave is example of her not wanting to work.  I would like you to resolve the issue.

Update 3-3-2023
I stopped at this location again, and it was a different experience.
The items were stocked, and checkout lines went fast.
The store changed the checkouts to more self checkout, and the other checkouts had 2 smaller checkouts instead of one.
The staff were very friendly.
It was still hard to find things since things were moved around, but a better experience.
I will shop earlier, it seems to be better then later in the day

Previous experience
I have been coming here for years, and every time I shop here, it gets worse. I think today really put the icing on the cake.
Walmart, in general, is a great place to shop. I have visited numerous Walmarts all over, and everyone is slightly different.
This particular one has lost my respect.
I'm trying to shop here, and several areas are empty. This is not covid. It happened before Covid and still happens every week.
I can say items were hard to find
I can say they didn't have them
I can say three high school boys were using electric carts like Mario cart, and you could hear them throughout the store. Also, not one manager did one thing to stop it.
I can say the lines were very long.
I can say a lot of things happened today.
But I will say that when high school boys are running carts laughing through the store and no one does anything that tells me management doesn't care or doesn't want to lose business.
The carts are for elderly or people who can not walk the store for health issues. They depend on it or they can't shop.
I will say that there are two walmarts not far away that I will shop from now on.

Thank you to the workers who did help find things since things were moved around. I really appreciate the kindness and help. If it wasn't for the staff helping, it would have been 1 star.

Wal-Mart saves Christmas dinner, or do they? I will let you decide. I placed a Wal-Mart online order five days in advance to insure the items I wanted where in stock and available so I could have a worry-free Christmas dinner this season. I am naturally planner and go through a lot of extreme efforts to ensure that my dinner is decided on and all the necessary ingredients is either in my house or in the Walmart order, to avoid extra unassay Christmas stress. The first thing to pop up to my attention on delivery day is that Wal-Mart was extra eager to deliver my items, so they sent them out before 10 am which is normally a huge plus right? Who does not love an early order? Well, this early order came with a price, I did not receive my hot rotisserie chicken. The star of my Christmas dinner! They agreed this was not acceptable and set out a refund for the extra fee for the order and then set up a new order for today between 5pm - 6pm and promised a chicken would be delivered. So on to put up my items, I was missing about six items from my order and added a pack of water I never ordered to my items. I called and they issued a refund for my missing items and a 10-dollar gift card to cover the price of the under 35-dollar order. Overall, my Christmas dinner though was not stress-free ordering, they have taken care to lessen my stress in a thoughtful and timely manner so I will say they deserve 5 stars. I may down grade if the chicken does not arrive today, but I do want to be a thoughtful and considerate customer and not tank their reviews for a time that is stressful for employees and customers alike. Hopefully the replacements will all arrive on time and the rest of my Christmas dinner will go off without a hitch! Fingers crossed that Santa gets his favorite fresh orange cookies this year! They have the rotisserie chicken available 10am - 4pm daily. So, it makes sense to get the order out before 10am for delivery and just put not in stock, right? So, if you want your order on time just chose 10am - 11am and add a hot rotisserie chicken to your order Iowa City Wal-Mart will make your order a priority to leave the store prior to 10am! and refund you for the chicken that is not in stock.   Extra take home from this? If you want your order to arrive on time, then place a 10am -11am order with a rotisserie chicken. That was the first time my order arrived at 10am on the dot! All my other orders where either right on the 11am dot or a little late. Seems like Chicken really causes all those Wal-Mart elves to get off the shelf and hustle this year. Remember to be kind to each other as Santa enters through the heart not the chimney!

Generally in a nice and serene environment in the city of Iowa city, be sure to get the best prices.

There were some very nice women working there, very helpful. Probably the best Walmart customer service anyone will ever get at any walmart, which admittedly is a low bar. It's like 5 African women  with headscarves running the whole store and everyone of them deserves a raise.

iit depends greatly on what day and time you get here but when you are early enough, the isles are stocked and the variation of products is pretty good. Isles were clean and organized today around 8am Saturday.. Coming at later times usually its crazy busy and the isles are picked over.
Today was a good day for qalmart shopping.

My first visit for an oil change today. I called yesterday and got in right away this morning. I chose the 34.88 job, which is the lowest price of 3 options.  I was asked if I wanted my air filter changed if it needed it. My initial thought was that they were going to " get" me on that filter whether I needed it or not. It took about 30 minutes to complete the job and they found my air filter didn't need replacing.  A mechanic is like your doctor, you dont want one that performs needless procedures. They checked my fluids, lights, turning signals and vacuumed my floors. Refilled my washer fluid at no extra charge. I am impressed and very happy with their service.  Thank you Walmart Automotive Dept!

Nice sized Walmart compared to our local one tones of clearance items. Could easily wonder for a few hours! The bathrooms were actually cleaned and kept on nice shape. Nice location on the edge of the highway auto center is a nice plus as well as huge outdoor and garden section. Grocery pickup is amazing and prompt as well

Scheels

Marv the bike tech is the MAN! I had a few things i wanted done to my bike, and showed him a couple of my pain points.
He talked me out of a stem replacement by adjusting my drop bar, but encouraged me to  spend the extra money on grip tape. 10/10 suggestion-I’ve been very pleased with the performance. I’ll be back for my next tune up!

They have everything you could need for any outdoor activity or sports league. I was there recently to purchase rollerblades and on another occasion golf equipment and both were very successful. Great vibe throughout the store, workers are very helpful and knowledgeable on the things I need help with. I will absolutely be back in the future.

Not from around this area and 1st time visiting Scheels. Very good sporting goods store.  The staff was very friendly and offered to help numerous times. They have a good selection of many different sporting good items. Wish we had Scheels in North Carolina.

1) Needed new shoes in 2022. I knew what I wanted and where to find them. Also needed them that same evening. Went to SCHEELS
2) I like Brooks shoes. Can't find them now. Can't find a salesman either. Look around. Find middle-aged guy sitting down in the back corner. He doesn't want to help.
3) I ask about Brooks Adrenaline shoes. With a big sigh, he takes me to where they are.
4) Points at them using his middle finger facing me. He gets a little grin.
5) Not believing what I just saw. I ignored it. Asked if they had the 2022 Brooks out, or just the 2021's. He again waved his middle finger around at the shoes. This time pausing on each box for emphasis
6) I say ok, I'll try on the 2021's and 2022's just to see.
7) He says he'll be right back. Scratches his nose with his middle finger at me as he goes into the back. He thinks he's being clever.
8) I sit there for a moment and decide to walk out before he returns. I get my fancy running shoes at another store
9) I realized I could have complained to his manager at the time, but figured he would have lied about me and it was more drama and time than it was worth.

Bauer and his crew in the hunting department were beyond disappointing. Brought a gun to trade in and I knew I wasn’t going to get much. After I got the number the unprofessional guy just talked bad about the gun when I was standing right there. I was going to buy a new one at that time but I walked away. Terrible customer service!!!

Schuler Shoes: Burnsville

Awesome store was helped by an employee named Zack at the Burnsville location. Really helpful as soon as I walked in i was greeted. Zac found my shoe measured my feet got me everything I needed.  great place to go. I recommend the Burnsville location for your shopping needs. Thanks again, Zach.

I am a customer of this store for few years. I recently went to buy a pair of shoes  and couldn't find my size. But I want to thank the store employee, named Michelle for doing her best to call different location and get me what I wanted when I wanted it. Amazing customer service. Thank you! , Michelle again.

First time visit and stopped in close to closing time. Megan took the time to listen to the issues I was having, made recommendations gave me additional information and made the whole process very easy! I have never liked shopping for shoes because of health issues but she made it so pleasant and easy I will happily go back! Thank you!!

The staff is absolutely amazing - well versed in fit and style. They know what they are talking about and take the time to put you first and help you find the right shoes for your feet and needs. Cannot recommend them enough! Will be a lifelong customer!

We had a wonderful experience today. Danielle went above and beyond by pulling shoes, being knowledgeable about shoes and fitting them (lots of tying) :) we appreciate your awesome awesome customer service. Absolutely recommend.

Much cleaner, stocked well and has larger aisles than the disgustingly dirty one in Burnsville. But this one also plays games. Bait and switch,  deceptive packaging, and blatant lies. I saw that this store had an unbranded plastic 9" level for $2.88. I got there and they didn't have that. They did have a similar one  for almost $10. Classic bait and switch. But I bought it anyway. I then found a 1/4" blue ribbon I needed for about $3.00. They had other ribbons there that were 2 to 21/2" for about the same price. It  looked like there was a good amount wrapped around the cardboard packaging. But when I got home it only went around the cardboard a few times. 9"! That's all there was for that thin piece of ribbon for that price! Very deceptive! I bought some plastic snowflakes for $11.62. Very high price but I've been looking everywhere for them so I bought them. The packaging said 16 but there were only 14. Out right lie! When I buy online they always give me some kind of compensation but I called the manager and he wanted me to bring everything back to the store. I  told him I didn't want money back I just wanted him to be more careful about these deceptions. I don't know if he cares or not.

No regular lanes open. Went to self checkout. Had quite a few items. After scanning all went to use gift card and it wouldn't work. Told me I had to go thru regular lane. I said there are none open! They took me to regular checkout lane had to take everything out of bags to get re scan. Got home and had none of my produce which was reason I went. Had to go to work no time for going back a second time to get what I paid for

Sick and tired of them asking for receipts, they pick and choose whose they want to check. If they are so concerned about theft then they should have less self checkouts and hire more cashiers. Employees are not helpful at all. If you need something out of a locked case, then prepare to wait 15 or 20 minutes before someone finally comes to help. The store constantly has clutter and is an absolute mess. They always have pallets blocking entire isles too. Shame on whoever the manager is of this location for allowing it to become such a dump.

Rose was very helpful with an issue we had. Very thankful for how she treated us! Believe she was a manager or team lead of some sort. Thank you Rose!

The workers there are very friendly all the time when we go shopping there their price is there for food are reasonable &  parking is easy

NorthPark Mall

Very good mall this mall is better than south park.  South Park mall sucks because there's no store is empty most people from Illinois come to North Park mall because there are more store and better

As Gen X I am completely ecstatic that this mall is still doing good. Why would you want to order online when you can go to a place with thousands of choices of clothing, books, gifts all while listening to 80s/90s music,  drinking a starbucks and smelling pretzels. We were there for my kid to pick out birthday gifts. We went to the usual: Spencers, Hot Topic and Ragstock. Found stuff at all three and then some. Good deals and it was so nice to visit a mall that wasnt missing tons of stores. Found some great shirts at Hot Topic *see photos*

These days, it's hard to find a decent mall. It's good to see that this mall still has quite a good selection of stores still open. They could use a few more places to eat but otherwise it's a good place. It's pretty clean, and it feels safe.

It used to be a lot better a long time ago. It still has some good stores and friendly atmosphere. Good place to drop off the teens for s few hours. I do miss whiteys being there!

Visiting my hometown and decided to see what the mall still look liked. I was pleasantly surprised how great it looked since malls are disappearing. clean, lots of stores still there, and it felt safe.

Chesterfield Mall

A Mall that seems to be hanging on. A lot of businesses have closed but there’s still a few left including restaurants and a skate park in the former Sears building. Pickle Ball courts have taken over the lower level and a section of the mall in the Dillards wing and Sears wing have been blocked off. Stop by here if looking for a place to eat, play some Pickle Ball or to do some indoor skate boarding!

Not much here; however,  if you like pickleball, badminton,  or classic arcade games...this place is great! Lots of courts and great walking.

Maybe this place thrived at one time, but that time is over. It's a good thing I came here for the movie theater and not shopping, because I'd be highly disappointed.

I did a lap around the place after my movie, just to see if maybe things got better further into the mall. They don't. Outside of Macy's, there really isn't a store worth (or open, for that matter) going in. There were cobwebs and dead bugs and the food court is nonexistent.

Lots of the stores seem to be closing late afternoon.  Several Pickle ball courts on the lower level. IMAX theaters to be enjoyed.

The mall looks really good to walk around in.But there is not a lot there and lot of places to go because
lot of them are Closed.
And I tried to record the place because they're closing the mall down.But while doing that I ran into someone
Being all rude to me and telling me not to record mall which I  understand they don't want you recording places like sometimes . But I I was trying to ask the guy why I'm not allowed to do that if there closing down the mall anyway But  he wasn't Giving me a reason why I couldn't do it. But I didn't want to start anything with the guy. So I told him that I would stop recording.And I thought I was done with the conversation but on my way to V stock he follow me there and was literally threatened to kick me out of the mall despite me being nice to him me and me  telling  him that I wasn't recording things anymore. So he was trying to Escalate the Situation.  he even went to the point of asking how old I was. So Had to tell him again  that I told him I was done recording. He finally dropped it and left me alone giving me a warning not to record any more. I shouldn't haven't had tell  him that 2 times. And again and wasn't trying to be rude to him I was just wanting him tell me why I couldn't record if there going to close the mall anyway. But I never got a reason.  But I was so mad at that point and Uncomfortable because of the way I was treated. So at this point I don't care if I the mall closes  especially  after the way I was  treated

Dillard's Clearance Center

This place... we have a love-hate relationship. The prices are good. But the place just gives me anxiety. It's so hard to navigate. It's worse than a thrift store. But when you are looking for a 1 off item or they have a clearance sale, you can't beat the prices.

Great prices and decent selection. But in the past couple months quality has gone down and prices have gone up. Still a fabulous store with great deals.

Great deals, good choices, lots of things that are unexpected from a store this size. I like the variety and choices you have when you shop here. I will tell you, if you find something you should buy it though, they may never have it again. It is a true discount place that can run out and you won't see it again. It's a good place to go with no agenda. Just let the items flow over you and grab what feels good.

I absolutely love this store!! How is it that I am just now finding about it?! Tons of options to choose from price, size and variety wise..I could spend all day there.and then some.
