Love this Shell everyone that works there is very friendly atmosphere is amazing the place is clean...they now offer Krispy Krunch chicken besides they make breakfast lunch ...great place you can get gas plus pick up something to eat 😋...And they treat you with respect..

The gas station is a gas station. Not much to say about that. What makes this place special is they have a deli inside with Dietz and Watson premium meats. Their prices for lunch meat and cheese can't be beat. They have sandwiches, subs, cole slaw, potato salad,  macaroni salad and much more.   Very clean and unbeatable prices.

This was one of the best gas stations I'd visited in a long time. The employee were kind and helpful. There are other gas stations nearby, but I like this one since I am always greeted and it is on my route to work. The pricing are reasonable and fair.

New ownership and prices are high. They make sandwiches and hot food .

The cashier was extremely helpful and nice. He greeted me with his amazing personality like always! The gas is cheap and the discount with Giant is very helpful as well! The Food Mart has everything you are looking for like chips, drinks, milk, candies, and more!! Really the best in that area!!!

Such great customer service here. I love the managers there, they keep my favorite Peach Hibiscus tea in stock unlike many others. They always have it, and I am so thankful for that. I moved to Bear, but I still come to this location because they took care of me.

I'm usually dressed in a suit everywhere I go. This one day due to me only having to run an errand, get my child baby formula, I was dressed in sweats and a hoodie with a 'dad hat' on.

I came in with $4 in quarters and $1 in pennies (left wallet at home scenario), change, to this Shell off of 273, and was denied service by a lady at the counter. There were other individuals talking with the woman at the counter who advised me in a demeaning tone to go elsewhere as the Shell was not a bank, they offered no change etc. These individuals represented the business in no way, shape, or form but seemed to serve as an additional unneeded intermediary/teammate as if I requested something other than gas. When I advised I only needed gas to put the money on the pump, I was denied again several times (4 minimum).

When asking to then justify why I was denied service, no response was given. An individual then came in, asked what was going on, and when I told her, she kindly offered to pay for my gas, that lady then went to her car. The Shell rep then had me count the money and stated to not come back again as this would be the only time she would service me. I was truly trying to understand why they would not accept it as it seemed to me it was not a hassle to put change in a cash register.

It's crazy because I will never support a Shell gas station again and just down the road at the next Shell on 273 by the Christiana Skating Rink I've not only paid with change, but had numerous, positive, engaging conversations with the gentlemen who is often at that shop about starting several businesses.

Upon leaving I told the lady she was disrespectful and advised that's not how you do business. This sheer lack of customer service and treating people like human beings is what is wrong with the world.

No restroom, but it looked like things were under construction so maybe this addition  will be a needed update. My advice if your in need of a good rest stop just go directly across the street.

Got gas approximate around 10:40 pm. I only wanted 10 dollars worth of gas- yet ended up getting 18+ dollars due to the gas pump being locked, and I could not get it unlocked from stopping pump. Basically I was forced to remove pump from my car and the gas proceeded to explode everywhere around my car. Thank god there was a younger woman to help get it out of lock. She was also have issues with her pump as well. Do not recommend.

they make breakfast sandwiches. Now they just started this a few weeks ago, but it was delicious. Prices are what you expect it to be but theses no other spot that has real eggs in the area , the coffee is okay, they coffee cups can’t hold a hot cup of coffee too well. The bathroom is nice and clean but only one. Will be back if I’m in this area .

Call me crazy but Shell gasoline seems to run nicer for me than other stations. Price always seems to be equal or slightly better than competition too

Fuel pumps very fast which is a big deal for me with a 30 gallon tank. Guys that work there are really nice. Not getting any better for a gas station.

Several of the gas dispensers were out of order, displays for self service did not work, Needed to go in and pay. Attendant not wearing mask properly and had a poor attitude. In addition the gas dispenser was jammed causing me to spray gas over me!! unpleasant experience. won't go there unless there is an emergency!

Pumps are very slow. Took me 10 minutes to pump 3 gallons worth of gas. Ended up leaving and going elsewhere

It's not open 24/7 as listed.  Also gas prices are criminal

Kind of want to know why you guys don’t list prices, other than gas. Let me know;  haven’t seen one gas station in my life do that.

You have to use a key to use the restroom - imagine how many people use that key chain going to the restroom and not wash their hands — DISGUSTING!!!

This is a pretty big gas station with a lot of lanes at the corner of US-13 and Route 273, near the farmers market. The gas station is pretty clean with a bright, inviting convenience store area. What concerns me is the pricing accuracy in one of the gas pumps. I was pretty sure I hit the button for regular gas but I noticed that the total amount was a lot higher than usual and when I checked the receipt, I found that I was actually charged for the premium gas. The whole time that particular pump was running, only the regular price was displayed so there was no indication it was charging the premium price. So it could be that the pump was miswired. The extra charge is small potatoes so I won't be taking them to court over this but nevertheless I doubt I'll be back.

This is the 3rd time I have been mid pump and it cuts off. I have fuel rewards so when it cuts off it takes my rewards away. I'm not stupid I know it's the cashier but that's ok it's not the only shell around and it's official I'm not coming back to this location.

This is a great gas station. The owner is friendly enough and always keeps the shelves well-stocked. I try to come here as often as I can. It can be a bit of a pill trying to find a place that you like, but I like this one so I come a lot.

Just a quick stop for gas only.  At least no long lines or some idiot parked at the pump inside buying scratchers!

The out of order sign right next to the credit card machine where you get air for you’re tires makes it look like only the credit card machine is out of order, that you can still use quarters to get air. So enjoy all the free quarters.

Tire Air Pump broken with no sign, still charges your card though. Cost wasn't an issue so much as the pump bled my tire to 0. Customer service was terrible - clerk at the register said it wasn't his problem and to talk to the back. He couldn't even tell me what name to ask for in the back, just to "go away". Guys in the back said nothing could be done and to call the manufacturer of the pump... what a joke of a business

This gas station is the best. Whether you are just passing through or live in Wilmington, the guys that work here treat you like family. They are so nice, the service is always great and they are extremely friendly. As a young woman living in the city, sometimes it is scary to go to a gas station late at night but I always feel safe at this Shell. If I'm pumping my gas by myself late at night they watch me to make sure I am okay and that I get in my car okay. It's so comforting. I once left my wallet on the counter and they kept it safe for me overnight and when I got it back everything was still inside. This place is just good quality, hometown service and in a city like Wilmington that is hard to find. Highly recommend this Shell!

I've concluded that I will only use this gas station if I'm paying at the pump. More often than not, the cashier forgets to give me my change or doesn't remember how much I'm putting on my pump, etc. There is one gentleman, who I also think is the owner, who I would always talk to and pay with, but lately he's had other employees there who do too many things incorrectly for me to feel comfortable.

Never again. Went to use points and pump said go inside to pay. Went inside, told cashier what happened and paid. No points were added. Came back to cashier to correct and said he couldn’t bc 9 cents was used.

Seems to always have the best price in the area. Some reasons I like the Shell...

This station is usually not over-crowded so normally no waiting for a pump.  Yesterday, I was short on time so I filled up and was ready to go. However, the receipt didn't print. I had to go into the adjoining store which irritated me. The cashier assured me that this is temporary & will be fixed this week.

I wouldn't give them the one star if I didn't need to just to review. They charged me more then the price advertised. Will never purchase anything here again. Hope you enjoy ripping people off. But hopefully people see this and don't make the mistake I did and purchase anything here.

Best quality of the 93 octane gas at the best price!! The amenities at this gas station aren't as good as Wawa though

The location is on a busy street where car drive by fast, you need to pay attention when exiting the parking lot. They had a Good gas price on the day I went and I was able to save c10/ gallon and the posted price was c4cent cheaper at the pump.The Dash in  convenience store was clean and I had a great customer service experience.

I will never spend my money there, the people who work there are rude, they treat you like they want you to hurry up and get out of the store, you have to ask for a bag. I don't think they like black people or black women or maybe just women I don't know. What I do know is that I was always patient and respectful to them when I did go there and they were always rude to me. This is why I'll never spend my money there again!!!

Worst gas station restroom experience, everything was dirty. There was no toilet seat covers, toilet was dirty and on top of that there was NO SOAP AVAILABLE in the restroom! If It wasn’t an emergency I wouldn’t have used it, but I had to. To make matters worse, when I told employees about the situation they seemed to not care about my experience. NO hospitality service !!! I asked for a pump of sanitizer and they said I would have to buy it. Not cool.

The gas prices are reasonable and the place is fairly clean. The staff is often rude and uncaring. The restroom is filthy every time I have used it. The Shell station on Pennsylvania Avenue and Union Street just down the street is much cleaner with friendly staff and the same prices.

i been going there for years everytime i go the tall guy always on his phone even when ringing you up.  he will see you in line and walk away. i always see him being rude to customers. Rest of the employees is fine. today  he said i  could not play my lottery tickets because he was working alone keep in mind no other customers was in the store. new guy came out and he still said im to busy for lottery. again i go every morning and wen ever he there he will leave you standing there even  when he not busy.  Then the other worker will serve me. AGain im there everyday 815 mon thur friday  but after today i refuse to spend another dollar there!! somebody need to let him no his job is to serve customers but its always him

Business has a Open sign blinking but no associate available doors locked at 10:am on a Sunday.    Watched  about 25 cars come and go.    They seem to not care about how much business they're losing.

This place gets robbed regularly. People smoke weed here even in the day time. Dont go here after 4pm at any given day. Don't go to the neighborhood behind it. They have tons of drug dealers.

Pay at pump wasn't working so the female cashier made my son leave his credit card inside, pump his gas, then come back in and sign for the charge. He signed for the $54 in gas however our credit card was charged $170 with 2 other $200 pending charges. Yes, I know that gas stations run a pre-auth but a fraudulent charge was made of $170 that went through and 2 additional $200 charges pending????? Credit card already called. Tried calling the gas station prior to writing this review but no answer.

Great customer service and gas prices excellent very safe place security camaras all over inside the store and outside the renting U-Haul truck lottery atm 🏧,I will definitely recommend it...

The price is great but there's a lot of suspicious people that stay at that location. Every time I come there for gas I always have a panhandler and/or drug addict asking for change. It's an issue!!! I'm not comfortable pumping gas there to say the least.

The gas is reasonably priced for the area with restrooms available for customers.  The car wash did a good job but it does not have a drying feature.

The gas was fine. But the car wash was terrible. The washing machine stopped working and instructed me to move out when my car was still full of foam. It didn't wash at all! Bad experience, and the guy in the convenient store had bad attitude when I reflect this terrible car wash machine issue.

This was a typical gas station in a very nice busy area.  The convenient store inside was well stocked with an assortment of items. The restroom is kept locked.  I was happy to find it soon after getting through the mountains on a low tank.

Most of the time there is no wait. Employees are very nice and helpful. One of better priced gas station in Santa Barbara. Always they have Air and vacuums to clean out your car

This review is for the car wash. It left nothing but spots and was not rinsed well. I spent $4 add'l at the self serve in Goleta to re-rinse my car. I won't be back.
