the cashier bad service I threw my change this morning 9:45 08/20/23 bad service, I don't know the name of that woman she looks at you with contempt,

Nice small gas station with a couple of fuel pumps and decent prices.

They had gas rite off road and easy get into n out of plus the extras you can always find at quick stop shops.

It's a good gas station, with a good selection of food and snacks. But the bathroom is a little gross. Toilet and sink were clean with toilet paper and soap,  but the floor was dirty and no place to change a little one.

Absolutely filthy bathroom. I've been all over the US and this is not a station I would use again.

The bathroom was not gender specific, smelled like stale farts and had residue all over the toilet and walls of what I dont want to know. No hot water or paper towels. The hand blower stayed cold and the toilet paper was so thin that it would rip while I was trying to pull it out of it's very loud squeaking tp holder.
On the bright side there was soap in the dispenser so...could be worse.

I would suggest the sunoco about 50 feet from here.

Purchased 2 car washes while car wash machine was under repair. When I came back they wouldn't honor the car wash and the person behind the counter was extremely rude.  I will never go to this place again.  The gas station across the street is much better.

The older guy who is usually in here is very rude. I come here to get propane and when I went to pay I picked up a pack of aspirin. I then asked if I could get a water cup to put some tap water in to take my pill and he said the cup would cost me 1 dollar. Wow. I was like that is a rip off and he told me to get out just like that.

Won't come here again

but I will say the propane is fillable which is way cheaper than switching out tanks. You can fill up your old tank and that way your not wasting the half gallon you have at the bottom of the tank.

The gentlemen that work at Shell are always friendly and quick with transactions at the counter. I frequent this place daily and I always have a positive experience.

Outdated with horrible customer service. Never should a customer wait to be checked out while the employee is watching TV on his phone. Then goes back to it while I'm swiping my card. Didnt wait on the receipt.

I got my car services here many times in the pass and they charged with the reasonable price since 2007 and I still bring my car over as of now. Love their service

Just finished grocery shopping at the Lidl up the street with my toddler and needed gas. Attempted to pay at the pump with my debit card and the machine kept prompting me to “see the cashier”,  which caused me to have to go inside to pay (inconvenient!). Figuring since I had a $20 bill in my pocket, I may as well pay for my gas with it since I had to interact with the cashier. I walked in, greeted him and received no response. I asked him to put the money on the gas pump, handed him my bill and attempted to head out. He stopped me and proceeded to hold the bill in the air and various other things insinuating that my money was fake! Mind you had this been a $50 or $100 I would understand the need to double check the legitimacy of the bill. It was an older $20 and without actually confirming there is an issue with the bill he stated “I don’t trust this.” I was very literally so beyond offended for simply trying to get gas. It’s not professional to suggest someone is presenting fake money with no means of proving it other than your motive to be rude. Left this establishment and was able to get gas across the street with the exact same bill, no issue. I do not patron establishments with poor customer service! And get those pumps fixed so less people have to interact with the rude cashier who was not trained to effectively check for counterfeits!

BEWARE❗️❗️ $860 for an oil change, brakes and rotors on a Subaru? This review should be zero stars. This man robbed my niece. Look at this invoice and tell me it’s acceptable. He charged my niece $154.94 for an oil change. Yes it’s synthetic oil. But never have I ever paid more then $85. I called my mechanic. He told me $85 including labor and the filter. Not to mention he charged her $20.99 to top off her fluids. Isn’t that usually free? Now let’s talk about what else was done. Her brakes and rotors. He charged this kid $280 for 2 rotors. You can buy 4 rotors for less then $280. Then $115 for brakes. And I guess $90 was a labor charge. This man is a crook. Too bad we didn’t see these reviews before she went there. You are going to refund this child’s money and charge her the correct price.

I am glad to have this platform to express how bad I felt for the elderly lady in the store. The clerk was berating her for not understanding how the "Fuel Rewards" Program fully operates.  He was rude and disrespectful to her.  I paused my phone conversation,
and I intervened and explained to the lady what she could do to sign up.  Following that interaction, his rudeness continued as my change fell all over the counter with a dismissive look.  I HAD to believe it was an accident  BUT IKR!??!??.😏

This station with the manager Ken  of mechanics does not back his work.  We bought a car in to be checked out and he said it cut off on him while he tested it. I came up and tried it and it would not start. Ken said he checked it and it was the fuel pump. We give him the ok to change it and 2 weeks later the car did the same thing with my wife in it and Ken refuse to assist her to bring the car back to the shop. We got it towed somewhere else and they ran a test and found the fuel pump was in need to be changed.  When I call Ken to tell him the news he said his mechanic told him the fuel gauge is bad and all we had to do was put gas in it.
I will never or would I recommend anyone to this station.

This gas station is on fire— right now. One pump is engulfed in flames. And one car is completely engulfed in flames. **I hope the people in the car got out alive.

I was about to enter the station to get gas— and a police car pulled across the entrance so I could not get in. At first I couldn’t figure it out— but then I saw the fire. Flames maybe 20 feet in the air.

The 5 stars is for the police officer who blocked the entryway—

That officer may have saved my life, because I (and others) were about to drive in there. There was another officer who blocked the other entrance. That station could explode at any moment.

Those officers are risking their lives in order to keep people from driving in there. Gas fires can explode.

**Good chance somebody was smoking. Please people, NEVER smoke a cigarette at a gas station. I see people smoking in gas stations a lot WHY? Please think.

manager lied about something that was seen on camera, refused to give me my money back that i was charged over price for gas. Ignored my texts of concern.Finally replied and contradicted what he said in the orignal message ,about being the pumps axle being malfunctioned. Told me his general manager said i left the pump unattended, when im CLEARLY on CAMERA asked for the general manager info no response. BAD BUSINESS. I WILL NEVER GIVE THIS GAS STATION A DIME OF MINE!0

Avoid store they don't put up prices of any items.

$15 car wash didn't get my tires wet. Terrible car wash, suppose to get all kinds of services didnt.

Avoid the Marlton Shell Station on Crain Highway (Blue Star Memorial) in Upper Marlboro. This station is known for car jacking and skimming at the pumps. My card was charged for additional gas that I didn’t receive. Thought management had improved the crime at this station, I was wrong.

I GOT ROBBED! $0.20 off premium gas on Tuesday is a popular and well known thing. Their large sign next to the highway advertised it but the pump still charged me full price. The gas station attendant said she knew nothing about it and couldn't help me. This gas station will not get another cent out of me ever.

I am not quite sure what was happening here but all the pumps were preoccupied by delivery trucks when I visited. They were neither filling up nor leaving. Not sure what was the deal. Perhaps not the fault of the gas station but really cannot wrap my head around...

I won't go here again. After my visit, I realized that they are much higher than the ones I usually go to. I should have keep going. I went in to get gas, asked to put my phone number in to use my rewards. I would have gotten 30 cents off. I pumped my gas and noticed that the price still said 3.48. So I went back in, clerk non chalantly says that I have to do it at the pump. WHAT? So you couldn't have said that when I said that I was putting my phone number in? And I don't have to do that at the pump at the other Shells that I go to when I'm paying inside. Got me that time. But it won't happen again. Glad I didn't completely fill up/spend more than I did.

They charge 55 cents more per gallon than any other gas station in the area. The prices in the store are outrageous too! Cigarettes are $2.00 more per pack than other stores in the area. They are the closest gas station to the airport so I guess their pricing demographic considers the area affluent. I will only buy gas there if I'm on fumes and will only put $5 in then drive to a different local station and fill up without feeling like I'm being robbed lol

I bought gas at this shell gas station because $2.99 was posted per gallon. I used my reward which makes it $2.94 per gallon. After filling up, I checked the receipt and I was charged $3.15 per gallon. I complained to the cashier but didn't have any idea about it. It's the fault of the manager. How can the manager set such TRAP thinking someone or somebody wouldn't know all because he/she wants to make money for the store. Very bad.

The pump is $0.20 more expensive than the advertised price.

Don’t come here will not do return because it’s store policy on car washes patty and hernan did not want to help me out told me to come back the next day to speak with store manager swkhat.. just said yeah sorry can’t help you and denied their service.

WARNING: the car wash machine which is the type that keeps your car stationary while the brushes go back and forth over you car, is not aligned straight. My rear view mirror was hit by the bar as it passed by and the car shook. When I drove away, my steering wheel was a bit crooked. I have turned the wheel back no forth on the road and it has corrected to some extent, but not sure if it is 100% straight. I chose the SOFT TOUCH method, there is a NO TOUCH option, I guess it just sprays; CHOOSE THAT or DONT USE AT ALL!

Dude was so nice talking about a $75k car outside. Chic took forever making my burrito. Dude charge me $10.25 and I acted like I didn’t notice. He seemed retarded but I tried to be nice.

Place is clean and obvious has good gas. Little Mexican grill is nice good eating. Some reviews make me cautious about the customer service but the two you gets guys were chill when I went.

Best breakfast burritos for the price! Salsa is amazing as well! Great customer service everytime, our office is always here for our mid day snack cravings and pick me up beverages :)

This shell location has a numerous amount of fuel pumps so on a regular day no need to wait for a pump to become available. A car wash is present at this location, which I haven’t utilized.

The store portion of this location doesn’t have a sign or logo on it. The receipt gives an address of 1881 Aviation Blvd, but on Google Maps it comes up as 1001 Aviation Blvd. I apologize, I was mistaken the 8’s on the receipt are 0’s.

Ideal location close to the car rental locations and fairly close to the airport.

I usually don’t review but they really made me to do it so here is the reason:
1. Pricing Discrepancy:
I noticed a significant price difference compared to other gas stations and convenience stores in the area. The snacks and drinks at Shell were noticeably more expensive, which made it difficult to justify purchasing them.

2. Lack of Value:
Not only were the prices higher, but the value for money was also lacking. The portion sizes of the snacks were smaller compared to other places, and the drink options were limited. It felt like I was paying more for less.

3. Inconsistent Pricing:
Another issue I encountered was the inconsistency in pricing. The same snack or drink item would have different prices at different Shell locations. This lack of uniformity was frustrating and made it difficult to anticipate the cost.

4. Customer Service:
Additionally, the customer service experience was subpar. The staff seemed disinterested and unhelpful when I inquired about the pricing. It would have been beneficial if they were more transparent and willing to address my concerns.

Conclusion:
Overall, my experience with Shell's pricing for snacks and drinks was disappointing. The higher prices, lack of value, inconsistent pricing, and unsatisfactory customer service left me feeling dissatisfied. I hope this review helps Shell improve their pricing strategy and provide a better experience for their customers.

Best place to refill in route to BWI. Always friendly staff no matter the time of day or night. Its a gas station, they sell gas and thats all I care about. Anyone who gives a negative review about a station near an airport as well ran as this one, has never flown in or out of MEM. You can be stabbed at those stations.

Deceptive advertising and rude employee! The sign clearly does not distinguish price difference for cash or credit, yet the pump was 10 cents higher. When I pointed this out to the clerk, he said "The big sign is cash price, and the small one is credit." When I said, "But it doesn't say that," he said rudely, "Well I'm telling you that's the cash price."  I'll be sure never to go there again.

Tobacco prices are super high. Purchased a disposeable pod for JUUL, charged me $45 and same pod I bought from Royal Farms next door for $25, ripping off customers big time. Stay away from this store!!!

I have been getting my car service/gas/propane at this shell for years..they are always helpful..needed a tire plug today,they were quick and prices are still reasonable...

Hands down WORSE gas station I have ever been to in my life. WOULD GIVE ZERO STARS IF I COULD Guy was so rude and unprofessional refused to allow me to get gas because I forgot to put my loyalty number in. I’m sorry but with gas being $5 a gallon I need my 30 cent a gallon savings . He said it was too late and refused the reprocess my transaction or let me use the pump outside he blocked transactions for both pumps. Gentleman even offered to pay for my gas he wouldn’t let him. He said gas station was closed and locked the door . I’ve never experienced such poor customer service ever in my life . GAS BUYERS BEWARE OF THIS RUDE EMPLOYEE AND CHECK OUT OTHER BAD REVIEWS. Apparently has history of being rude and unprofessional and shutting gas station down when people are using the pumps.

Absolutely terrible and rude establishment.
The rude gentleman who works there,  shut the gasstation down while I was pumping gas.
After that , I checked my balance after pumping my gas in the dark and I was overcharged.
I walked up to let the gentleman know what happened and he shoed me off.
This is after ignoring me at the window for 5 minutes.  He finally said "My gasstation did not over charge you! Call customer service."
(Customer service should also get a bad review on account of having insufficient prompts to speak to someone)

Had my car towed here after it died on the highway. After identifying the problem, the mechanic found out that the alternator was part of a recall from Chrysler. I wasn't aware of this at all and would never have known if I was not told about it by the mechanic. I expect a lot of places would have gone ahead and done the work so they could bill for it, but these guys were straight up telling me I could get it repaired for nothing at my local dealership. Trustworthy people are a valuable commodity.

For the past several years I have visited this shell gas station for the car wash only. I thought the price was reasonable and the car wash was decent. However when I visited last week November 2023 I was not satisfied, because the car wash did not dispense any soap. When I bought this to the attention of the manager on duty pictured above, she simply asked "what do I expect for $9 ?" My response to her was " I frequent this Shell gas station at least twice a month and this has never happened. " She kept repeating that this was a $9 car wash and denied me a refund or another car wash. I suggested that she could witness the lack of soap if she allowed me to drive through again. I did call Corporate and I am waiting for a response. Stay tuned, meanwhile I will visit the other Car Wash ( Whip Cream) right down the street. If you visit this car wash beware of the lack of soap.

When the pump tells you to “see cashier” and the cashier is a complete JERK throughout your whole simple interaction. This place is TRASH. The pumps don’t work and the place is a rip off. Hopefully someone buys it and makes it a nice establishment like it once used to be.

Stopped by the shell gas station today. Inside they have SUBWAY'S SANDWICHES. Good spot to grab some gas and a sub with coffee. Excellent Double meat subs available.

Employee walked to the door and locked it as we were walking up to the door at 12:40 today to come in. We are a family with two small children who needed to use the restroom and get some snacks. This is NOT open 24 hours! The employee just walked back to the register and stood there, ignoring us.

Excellent gas station. Clean and nite. Very good car wash.

Literally the worst gas station. Old machines. Clerk barely speaks English. You’re better off going to the Shell across the street.

-10 stars. This fraudulent place doesn't start pumping until you pay more than $1. I will 'never' visit again. I suggest you do the same.

This Shell off Crain Highway and Old  Marlboro Road also has a convenience store. Stop in, get your snacks and finger foods.

This Station is large with its space easy to park the car and more than the cleanliness its shop is well supplied with essential products for a traveler.
