McDonald's

Consistently the service here for the drive through and in person ordering platform has always had super courteous employees, very kind and polite, quick with the service as well! That thing said, the food, quality, and overall presentation compared to other store fronts is not up to the standard. With McDonald's having raised their prices to an exorbitant amount already within the last year to compensate for their profit margins that they want to maintain, it has become less and less of a desirable option for fast food. This solidified that exacting opinion.

From just this last experience:  cold, dry fries, over-fried, dried out chicken nuggets, and burgers missing simple add-ons like pickles. Ice cream has generally been solid though! Just can't recommend this location in its current state.

Plenty of other eatery options in Rexburg, don't make this one of them!

First I will say there was a guy manager who was polite and helped us not to get too mad. But my wife and I use the app frequently to buy food. Each of us do it on our own phones to use a deal. We always pick them up from the drive through at the same time. Iv worked my fair share in fast food so I get how things work but the staff was just not doing what they should do. I was told I could only pick one order up. They wouldn't budge and just let me take the second order even though I had never heard of this rule nor has it ever been enforced on me before. They said I needed to go through the drive through again where I would have to wait in the line again. After talking with the guy who was the manager the best he could do was pull me around the the curbside pickup where I waited another 5 mins. They care more about some small policy rather than their customers. Just go to the Burger King across the street if you are hungry because they will not give you good customer service is something goes wrong.

I had to get to work so I stopped in before my drive to IF. The drive through took 30 minutes. I drove off without checking my food because at that point I was late for work. I started to eat my fries and went to reach for the 10 piece McNugget meal and found that there was a 6 piece meal and no sauce. I was frustrated at that point but figured it’s better that I got over it and just eat my chicken nuggets without sauce. I opened the box and found that there were no nuggets inside and instead were two chocolate chip cookies. I have no idea how this mix up could have occurred but I’m extremely disappointed and very hungry.

This one is a bit slow. They make the food pretty well but I still waited 10 minutes for just two basic burgers and a drink. This McDonald's is fine. Not the worst one. At least they have clean bathrooms. I'd give this fast food restaurant a better score if they were to get faster. Overall it's just fine. Perfectly simple. The place to go for cheap food.

They left out a big chunk of the McFlurry. My wife ask to make sure they filled it up this time. Manager completely ignored. Didn’t acknowledge whatsoever. 👎🏼

I got two spicy crispy chicken sandwiches and both of them had way too much sauce on them. There was sauce all over the bag and the bread was soggy. My hands were a mess just trying to get the bag open let alone trying to eat it. The sauce was overpowering the whole sandwich and it just tasted disgusting. How is someone supposed to eat this?

Didn't give me any straws for my drinks. Had to remind them I'd ordered 3 smoothies. Asked for no pickles got pickles. These people want $15 per hour while still giving minimum wage effort.

Our food was cold when we got it. The fries at the bottom of the carton were soggy like they had been sitting in water. The employees while friendly just seemed to be in their own worlds. Not really caring what was going on. My family will not be going back to this location anytime soon.

While I do not expect quality from most McDonald's I do expect timely service. Waiting 20 minutes after being parked via  drive-thru is substandard even for a low expectation fast food joint. When we went in to inquire about our order, we were told they had no order. Thankfully, I requested a receipt when we paid. While the food was pulled quickly and was hot there was no apology or attempt to repair the terrible service. We will not be back.

I asked for a cooked to order filet of fish and I received an old cold one.  I will be back for a replacement meal or a refund.

The quarter pounder hamburger was lukewarm.

One order of fries was hot and the other was lukewarm.

I want fresh food when I return.  Thanks.

Order accuracy was 1 item off, but well resolved by Solid Employee. Visually clean facility throughout. Floor from lobby to restroom needs to be brushed with decreaser and re mopped. Keep the kitchen mop out of lobby.. Cooking oil will be everywhere.. Labor like everywhere seems a bit low for 8am. Prices keep climbing.. Thanks to those that continue to work!!

If I could leave 0 stars, I would.
In short: a few ppl on the evening/ night crew need training in customer service & corporate should reasonably respond to patrons. I'm not looking for a "free lunch" but better service for the next customer. Communication is key to plenty of doors relating to paying customers.

Full story below:
I had just completed quite a bit of work and wanted to get something to eat for the first time that whole day. Ordered a filet o fish combo. They simply forgot to put tartar sauce on the sandwich. No biggie. I get back in line. I'm patient, but I already knew the sandwich was about to be cold because I was 4 cars back and the inside was closed (someone tried to go in, door was locked). I get to the window and there is this young guy in particular that I recognized because I had an issue with him overcharging me before and having an attitude about it. I let him know about the lack of tartar sauce on the sandwich and I even said you can put some on the side but I finally touched my sandwich and it was cold and the fish was a little stiff at this point. He first said he couldn't take it back anyway and they would remake it. He then came back shortly after and said they would take my sandwich. I repeated "It's cold now.  I don't want y'all to reheat it and add tartar sauce." I can hand it back after you all remake the sandwich. I guess we reached a stalemate because he came back and said he still needed it. So, I smiled and said "ok but I'm going to put my finger in this one because I don't want y'all to reheat it and hand it back. It's stiff at this point." He steps back and makes a gesture to someone in the back. A Couple of minutes later, he returns with a filet of fish sandwich in the bag & I'm thinking all is well. I ended up parking in the parking lot to eat only to discover they unprofessionally remade it. It was mostly tartar sauce at the bottom of the box covering & soaking the bun. Basically, it was like a soup. At this point, the line was much longer & I didn't have the patience to wait. I attempted to call 3 times and got no answer. I attempted to call the next day and got no answer. I tried to send a complaint to the franchise owner & "corporate" and got no response. So, now I'm leaving a review. And I HATE leaving bad reviews.

Service was prompt despite long line. Was able to use my app without issue. Order was correct and flavor was exactly what I expected. Customer service could be improved amongst the younger employees though.

I hate to pile on with another bad review, but this restaurant just doesn't measure up even to McDonald's generally declining standards. There's never anyone minding the front counter. You can order at the kiosk but you might or might not be able to pay at the kiosk. It randomly sends customers to the counter to pay. But, since there's never anyone working at counter, you might as well just leave right then and forget it. If you get lucky enough to process your entire order at the kiosk it'll likely be around 20-30 minutes before you see any food.

Or, you might wait 15-20 minutes only to have an employee come to your table and let you know they don't have what they need to make what you ordered. In my most recent case, they were out of McRib buns. I'm not quite sure how that happens since those particular buns aren't used to make anything else on the McDonald's menu. Seems like each location would get pretty much the same number of McRib buns as McRib patties and maybe a few extra in case one gets dropped on the floor or something. Logistics used to be McDonald's strong suit; this kind of thing was the entire basis of their business model. Not anymore, apparently.

On the off chance that you actually get food at this location before it's time for your next meal, it's generally pretty good - hot, fresh, etc. Oddly, despite everything they get wrong at this location, they've always gotten our order right. Unfortunately, the odds that we get what we came for are just too long.

I'm not crazy about the pseudo-Banksy wall decor, either. Makes it feel like you're eating in an alley behind a commercial building.

We won't be going to this particular McDonald's location again for a long time, if ever.

Seems that the only ones doing their work is Ariana I've been waiting well over a half an hour just for a Uber Eats pickup

We stopped by last night and went through the drive through.  It took 20-25 minutes to get two burgers and two fries.  The fries had so much salt on them, we had to throw them away.  We ordered large fries and they were half full. We have given this restaurant numerous tries and they always fail miserably.  Two weeks ago we came through the drive through and they said it would be 25-30 minutes for our food.  This place is a joke!  Sell it to somebody who cares.

For the first time in years I received world class service from a McDonald's.  My daughter and I stopped by on Wednesday October 5th for a quick bite after leaving my daughter's hair appointment.  The employee's were so friendly and told us about the new sauces they would would possibly like. We were delighted with the Mambo and Sweet and Spicy Jam. Thanks Rashauna and Courtney for extra service. We enjoyed our visit!

Pretty standard Mickey D's. Customer service is not usually an issue but could be better, and the drive through runs at an okay pace. Always check your order, order accuracy if something they seem to struggle with. Also they will never ask you if you want ketchup, salt and pepper, napkins, or things like that, so it's on you to remember every time.

Had to wait nearly 5 mins just for a refill on my drink. Multiple employees looked at me but didn't acknowledge I was there or asked if I'd been helped. Not the worst service, but definitely room for improvement.

Terrible service, did not bring out food for ever. Their excuse was that they just didn’t bring it out when it was sitting back there waiting to be brought out. By the time I got my order the food was not hot and not fresh. It’s weird that they don’t have a soda fountain so that was interesting. I got a few water cups which was free, but one of them didn’t have ice and tasted like a very watered down sprite. I was also not given any straws and 2 napkins. Overall this was not a good experience.

The workers are always nice, but I go there for food and it is terrible. Their buns are burnt and no matter the time of day I have gone I have never gotten freshly cooked food. The McChickens and nuggets are old and dried out whether they were made and left in a warmer for too long or double fried, I don't know. And their burger patties are the same. The McDonald's on 17th is the only McDonald's in Idaho Falls that has been consistently gross.

This is a shoutout for Derek. His kind and upbeat demeanor was so good to see. More often that not people seem dejected, or like they're trying to stay positive at any McDonald's location. I've heard some of the outrageously rude things customers say, i get it. You're killing it Derek. 10/8 @7:50am.

Me and my son went to the play place and they still have the AC on. I did ask for someone to turn it down and I was told that they couldn’t it is 30° outside. There’s no reason the air should be on we were all freezing.

Congratulations to the low life who is a full grown child & has obviously never had a girlfriend in his life. I hope you are proud of yourself for acting like a foul & putting someone out a full meal that was paid for by them & not your gimpy looking self. Grow the up & think about your actions before ruining people’s food.

I could not go through the drive through because I was hauling a trailer so I went inside instead.  I used the app to order but it took over 15 minutes to get my food and the order person and the manager were not helpful.  Yes it was busy but I would have had quicker service in the drive through.  I was disappointed because I like McDonald’s!!

Hamburgers were raw. Was looking for my debit card to pay, and the girl at the first window was obviously not happy about it. I know it's fast food, but give me a second. Not impressed at all.

Great management ans the young lady who took our order went above and beyond.  Kindness and compassion towards a homeless man and dog, without judgment.  God bless them for their kindness.

Flies everywhere inside dirty sinks can’t even wash hands and very slow slow service

McDonald's used to be convenient but no more. I literally used the app trying to avoid the ten minute wait that had become far too regular. It didn't work ten minutes pulled so they could keep their window time low.  What happened to fast food? Wendy's at least has it together they will get my buisness at least from now on.

I got 2 mchicken a large fry and 2 sides of mcsauce the mchicken had way to much mayo on it it was drowning it it and the mcsauce was in a 6 piece chicken nugget box with a lid on top of it and the fry was half full. I called to talk about it the manager wouldn’t give me his name and was very rude i would not come here again take your money somewhere else.

Extremely hit or miss with in terms of service and food quality. Most days, it's typical speedy McDonald's drive through service with the food their known for. Can't complain there. But I've seen many upon many "off" days, where the service, wait times, and food quality are so astronomically bad its almost worth asking for a refund on my $10 order...

On another note, if you choose to visit any time after 10pm (this is a 24hr location), good luck. Staff during these hours are usually not the friendliest, and getting your food takes 10x longer...

**P.S.S. I completely understand food is probably made to order at night and takes longer, and I sure as heck would be grumpy working past 10pm, but this is some next level below standard stuff.

This McDonald's is located in another store. I ordered breakfast at the ordering system, but of course I chose the one where the credit card processor didn't work. So I had to pay at the counter anyway. It took a while to prepare the breakfast, but it was good.

Not my first pick for area McDonalds, their ice cream machine is out of order more than it’s working and the consistency is icy. They are at a good location if you need to jump off I15 for an on the go bite. Food has been good in general. Their drive through staff is definitely more personable and helpful than front end, they barley acknowledge your there. Establishment has been clean every time I’ve been there.

I typically get breakfast at McDonald's, and I visit several of them in the greater Huntsville area each week. This is one of the few that keep an eye on the front counter for customers who prefer not to use the automated tellers. Feels like an older location, but the service was quick, food was good, and the store was clean.

What the fudge is going on with McDonalds in Alabama. The one close to the arsenal is bad but this one is worse. All sandwich’s were harder than stones. I think management is not following McDonalds guidelines and telling employees to reheat the sandwiches.

Management, do you fudging realiza that people that go to McDonald’s either are in a hurry or cannot afford a better meal. It is so disgusting that you don’t provide food or service for people that are similar to your workers.

Follow the guidelines. I’m calling county to check your kitchen.

First off I’d like to say that every single time I go through they mess up my order. Not an exaggeration. Tonight they gave me Dr Pepper instead of coke and didn’t give me my sauces. I tried to call up there and no answer. I tried calling a few more times and now it’s not ringing at all just a busy tone. They clearly took the phone off the hook so I couldn’t call. This is way beyond ridiculous and unacceptable. I WILL be talking to corporate.

Was going to dine in but the place was not clean. Felt bad for the manager on duty because the employees under her were not doing anything to help keep things moving. Waited over 20 min for a simple sandwich meal. At least it was hot and tasted good.

This McDonald’s is a joke.   The place is disgusting.   And we stood in line for 15 minutes on a Tuesday morning.   The restaurant was empty. And the drive thru had two cars.  Finally, the gentleman behind us gave up and left. We waited another five minutes with two employees staring at us and then we left.   I’m all honesty I’m glad we didn’t eat there because the music was loud and not appropriate.  The restaurant was a mess, and two employees, a man and a woman watched us and the other customers walk out and never said a word at all.

This McDonald’s location is a health hazard. They took a lot longer than usual to get our order out even though there was only one person ahead of me (and I think they got the order ahead of us wrong several times). There was a lot of yelling amongst the employees.The floor throughout the whole store was sticky.
EDIT: Dropped them a star because I just saw three employees go straight from handling a dirty mop bucket to handling food.

Definitely not OK. Even if it were an "accident" there should have been a prevention of this from the quality controls.

Got two little sandwiches over $11 you've got to be kidding me I don't do fast food haven't done it in years and I'm here to tell you I will never do it again McDonald's hamburgers taste like they cook it like you would a hot dog in water and their pickles are the nastiest pickles ever goodness crazy I got a Big Mac and the hamburger what's the size like a 50 cent piece or a silver dollar goodness gracious $11 for two little sandwiches like this are you freaking kidding me never again no more fast food it's been many many years now this is why I will never go again

Driving through and stopped for breakfast. The blond tall girls was so friendly. People need to remember that a smile and a “good morning” will make anyone’s day.  Thank you!

Service was prompt, food was delivered right to my table quickly and was on point for freshness and flavour.

Seats and table were clean and dry.
It was a nice break after 8 hours of driving.
Will be returning to this location in the future.
