Walmart Supercenter

Its very hit-or-miss here. Some employees are absolutely great people. They will go out of their way to be friendly and helpful in any way possible. Then there are a few that just ruin the experience. They would rather spit on you than help with anything.

The store itself is great! I really like the clothing section. A bit jealous of the business pants at this location vs the one back home. Very clean and organized. Was able to find what I needed pretty quick.
Would’ve given 5-⭐️, but the employees seemed to be very angry with the world. There were a few exceptional employees that assisted me, but everyone basically looked miserable.

This Walmart superstore is slowly becoming  slum. The isles are unkempt, the shelves are not organized.  The produce isles are super messy. There's random shoppers with dogs in the produce and meat area.

The bathroom is worse than the rest area in Florida.  Super dirty, trash bins are full and debris littered the entire bathroom.

It's disappointing to slowly see your favorite grocer self destruct.

Aldi across the street is a better option, there are hyvee or fareway down on 8th street.

They finally repave the parking lot, but the interior remained unkept..

Poory managed and slowly deteriorating.i recommend going to Aldi across the street, Hyvee or fareway down the road.

This is the nicest Walmart I've EVER been to!  All employees were pleasant, helpful and smiled when I spoke to them and asked for help.  NOT ONE were on their phone ... At all!  The store was clean, organized and it was overall a pleasant shopping experience.  Considering I walked a mile to get there, it was well worth the visit. I'm 100% certain the employee demographic had a lot to do with my positive experience!!  I was there in the early a m.  Thank you!!

Where to start....Small quick grocery pick up tonight.  Went to the cashiers and NO CASHIERS!!!!   Not a one.  When I asked a staff person to get a cashier I was informed that no one currently present was able or available. Now for a disabled person such as myself, having a cashier person is not only convenient it is necessary for my shopping experience. As I am hanging onto the the cart and my cane for balance, the store employee looks me dead in the eye and says "You will just have to do it yourself."  Can you imagine the frustration, anger, and humiliation one feels in this instance??  During this ordeal only ONE employee attempted to help. The ladies (a cashier and team leader) actions were worthless, condensing, and without a shred of compassion or smidgen of customer service expertise. As I was laboring and causing myself pain trying to scan heavy (to me) items, maintain my balance and suppress the screaming urge to just leave everything I needed in the cart and leave the building, I watched the very same folks telling another customer that there was not anyone who could help him get gift cards at the self check out, there was no one who could open a register, and it must be his (cards) fault the transaction wasn't working. This was after I watched them "teach" this poor customer how to do a Wal-Mart gift card at the self checkout.  I have seen many levels of customer service in my 5 decades, watching, tonight, Walmart's winning race to the bottom was both breathtaking and disgusting.

I just want to give a shout out to Sara. (Hope that's how you spell it). Personally I would give her 5+ stars. She's very personable, cares about people, takes time to help in any way that she can, mannered, funny and has great insight! This place is better with her in it!

"BEWARE*. CASH ONLY ....Have had my banking information stolen 4 times using my card at the checkout. Not sure why this Walmart is so sketchy but I only use cash for all purchases. I go elsewhere if I need to make a big purchase.

Online pickup took over 20 minutes even though the staff spoke to my husband before they went back inside. This was at approx  10pm...no other customers were there. My husband called me saying that nobody was coming and that he was feeling ill. I  called the number to speak to online orders staff, there was no answer and the call was redirected to the help desk...tried to explain what was happening but she interrupted me! THEN when I was still trying to explain she hung up on me!!! We will never shop at Walmart again!!!

Website doesn't match the store
Hours are different even when you call. Money center does not cash personal check over 200.00 which website says $1000 and up with additional charges. Store is a mess. Staff does not great you. I have to use a cane so I use the electric cart when there and the greeter came and grabbed me when going out by the shoulder and said I can't take it out of the store to my car.

Overall not a terrible place. Be careful with the rotisserie chickens. We bought one and when we got home we wanted to eat it and it was raw in the middle.

Good selection. Not overly friendly though. Just your standard Wal-mart. They do have quite a few self checkouts, so getting in and out is pretty easy which is nice.

Bought a $100 gift card back in electronics. No one told me that gift cards weren't activating at registers. Get home try to use it and it's not active. Called electronics and a supervisor said to come to the service desk and they'll take care of it. It's an hour round trip for me. I get here and walk in and am told the service desk is closed. Spoke to Irit and was told nothing could be done. No solution offered what-so-ever. Had to call a corporate number to get a solution.

It's a Walmart. Same store as last time I was asked to review. No really rude staff and only had to snap on another person's kid once..
Sorry not sorry but folks other people don't think your kids behavior is as cute as you do....

Boone, not good to match their own prices they have on shelves.
They also have so much stuff hanging Goodluck reaching in and getting something. They all fall. Look at photos.

Lady at customer service with the long black hair and I think glasses on today’s date around 5:45ish was very snotty. I needed a money order to get cash off my debit card that wasn’t working at ATM’s. She argued that that’s “not what they are intended for” and had to argue against her personal opinion to have one sold to me. She wasn’t even a part of the transaction and decided to give her input into a situation she had nothing to do with. She then tried to say my Walmart debit card won’t work without even knowing what kind of card it is. Long story short it worked just fine.The lady at the register was very nice and helped me get my money order. The other lady said I can’t cash it at Walmart because it won’t work right away in a very unpleasant tone. I don’t know what she thinks customer service is, but that was not it. Very rude from her, very nice from the lady at the register.

I have to share my mystery experience here in the morning.
I took 3 cans of baby formula to check out. I wanted to spend the formula check I received from formula producer, so I went from check-out counter. The machine suddenly broke down, no one knew how to deal with it. I think that’s okay as machines always had problems. BUT, the store guys just let me wait there for 20 minutes by only saying one sentence of “the machine always go wrong”, I just waited there seeing people come and go and my daughter seated in the trolley asleep, I had to calm her down.
Excuse me, is it the machine let you make your customer wait there for that long time and let no one to help? Is it the machine that stoped you telling your team member to fix the problem? I even had to explain to a new check out person what happened. To be polite, I did not express my anger at the spot at the time, but is it a good manner you run a service business like that? ???  How do you train your team? Every time I enter your store I saw the slogan “my team and I are happy ti help”. Is it your way to help?

The store was so crowded that we couldn't pick up everything we needed. Half of the congestion was employees picking online orders. Not going back there

Update: in the summer of 2022, a new bike rack has replaced the rusty one.

Brand new store. Helpful and knowledgeable employees. Deserves a newer bike rack (late 2020). As of April 2021, the dying bike rack seems to double as a garbage collector. The contrast with the squeaky clean, superbly maintained parking speaks volumes.

Not going to share the secret time to shop here (early early morning) but as long as you avoid the dancing stockers, you can get in and out super fast.

Walmart is my Deals on Wheels got to have that without that whole life will get pretty expensive and out of control thank you Walmart for sharing your hospitality with me I mean it's almost impossible to beat the prices on the merchandise or their produce anything they have in that store it's hard to beat the prices and everybody's friendly and helpful in any way possible to accommodate you I give them a standing ovation

Not all lanes are open often, so expect a 5 to 15 min wait time to pay, not everything you need they have, but staff is very friendly and they maintain the store as organized as possible. Great deals! And from time to time they have great on clearance items.

It's crazy to believe we live in a world where people don't look after each other. Not to mention, looking out for the children in our world. Every day, children get kidnapped and never to be seen. But you would think there is some good in people to try and prevent those things from happening. Nope, I guess not. Today, I had the courtesy of meeting said heartless individual when I was trying to deliver product. I noticed I small child 4 or 5 years old, and I didn't see a parent insight. But I still had to do my job and deliver. I asked a Walmart employee to keep an eye on said child so that nothing happened to her. But the employee said, "I don't get paid enough to watch someone else's child." I responded with, "Yeah, but it's the right thing to do." Eventually, I finished my delivery, and the child was picked up by her father.
I honestly felt disgusted by this employee's response and made my blood boil. Who would have such a heartless attitude towards a child.

Do better guys if not for yourself but for the children who are still innocent to the dangers of this world.

Walmart has come a long way with customer service and returns can be done through the pickup area where you would pickup your order. If item was bought online you can choose the return it through the drive up. I really like this idea and it worked very well for me.

Many shelves are often bare. Customer service is hit or miss, some are fantastic but certainly not the case for all.

I had the worst experience at this Walmart (Worthington) As I went to self checkout to pay for my three items one of the employees walked up and asked did I scan everything. I then proceeded to show her my receipt and my three items. As I looked around I noticed people with way more items but no one checked their receipt. This was a discrimination situation. I was the only Black person in line. I called this business on the next business day, but I could tell the manager wasn’t concerned at all. I will NEVER shop here again!

Just because artificial intelligence is at its finest and highest peak Performance currently ,than it has ever been. Does not mean that Wal-Mart (as a whole) needs to lack in customer service. But not limited to just lacking in customer service, the customer service that is awarded is generally rude and very demeaning. There is one customer in particular that I have had a extremely bad experience with multiple times. And has been brought to the attention of Corporation but Rhonda is still working there for some odd reason. Never friendly constantly rude and has called more than one customer a thief allowed in front of other customers while the whole time she was directly in the wrong and ignorant in the situation at hand.

Generally, this location is well stocked and has adequate selection. Layout is a little confusing, but service is good. Bathrooms are well maintained.

As a traveler, not from the US. I've made walmart a staple for food, sleeping, gear,and etc. Never before in 32 states have I met an associate so willing to be "helpful". In Spirit Lake IA. An associate "Parker". Made my day. Parker, you deserve all the accolades and made my trying situation a lot easier. Thank you!

Visiting from out of town. Stopped in to pick up a few things and just wanted to give some kudos to our cashier JJ! Super friendly and very helpful! Also I didn't get her name, but the blond girl working up front was handing out popsicles to kids, fantastic to see! Great customer service all around!

I was in this store not long ago, and heard a manager reprimand an employee. I was disgusted!!! The manager was out right degrading and bullying!! Just a complete jerk!! No one should be talked to like that!! Ever!! In fact I hope that employee gets a lawyer!! I'll be glad to testify!!  If any manager talks to an employee like that, they should be fired on the spot!! I'll do my shopping in Spencer from now on!!!! I hope that sweet girl quits!!! Terrible!!! I'll never shop here again!!!!

Nothing really bad to say. It's like most Walmarts.  I did want to make sure to rate it with a 5 star review though because 2 of the associates were extra friendly, made eye contact, made it a point to say a quick greeting, and smiled.  It gets more and more rare to see the service with a smile attitude, but I always appreciate it.

They just keep getting worse in the pickup orders. Doesn't matter if I show up the 15 mins early they allow or on perfect time. They ALWAYS make me wait up to 45 mins. People that show up 20 or 30 mins after me STILL get their order before I do. B.S.

I always have a pleasant time no matter what dept I go to. The best is my grocery pick up. Associates are the best. I use the pharmacy on hillside bc it has a drive thru, those associates are the best as well.

I love this Walmart it’s convenient to get in and out of the pharmacy. The pharmacy staff are so helpful. I have gotten my flu shots my Covid vaccine, my shingles all at one location and they keep track of when my meds need to be refilled and contact the doctor so I don’t have to.  They send me reminders, so I don’t have to worry about it.  The store has a great selection and choices.

This is a place that you can get everything.. don’t ask for more.. cool place to kills time

First time visiting here and was very happy to find everything I was looking for, and then some. I have to use an electric scooter to get around and glad to find one that was fully charged. I was also lucky enough to find a cashier. Self check out can be a pain with a scooter. And especially inconvenient for any shoppers who buy a lot of items. So finding a cashier open was like gold lol! I had quite a bit of stuff. The cashier person was very pleasant and helpful. She even took the initiative to help get my bags into my basket. Each person I encountered here, associates as well as customers, were all quite nice and helpful. I'll have to come here again next time I'm near town. Thanks.

Lately this Walmart has been going down hill. They replaced the rolling self check out tables with cheap plastic tables, i wait forever for some one to mix paint for us. The managers some times have self check out open but have to have some one to watch over even tho you are already!!!! On camera for self check out. Ie: no one there two watch you even tho your being recorded no self check out available. Really sucks that there’s not another store to go to unless you wanna travel. Forcing people to shop here.

I shop here out of shear necessity, which is rare.  Pretty horrible place overall.  And it appears the management treats their "associates" poorly from the conversations I couldn't retreat from while trying to get the repugnant self-checkout junk to work.

If you’re a trucker the best time to go to Walmart is super early, you’ll find parking easy. This Walmart was barely full at 6 am. We parked, shopped for 15 minutes and left. No one bothered us.

We had to go pick up money from Walmart to Walmart and two employees just standing around in the area chit chatting. Didn't bother to acknowledge us or say we'll be right with you. Husband spoke up and asked if they were going to help us or ignore us. Amanda one of the employees had the nerve to say " if your gonna be like that I wont help. Husband replied you guys saw us walk in and ignored us.

Average Walmart, pretty big and has everything. Christmas inflatables were not as expensive as I expected, good deal.

I had my shopping and delivery done for me. First of all they delayed my order than thought it would be ok to deliver at 11 pm. I rescheduled till next morning cause Who seriously delivers that late! I get my groceries to find a withered green pepper that I guess they thought it was acceptable. I will be canceling my subscription.

Terrible pick up order service, you will wait over an hour to get your pick up order if you go in the evening, we thought it was just a fluke but now it has happened every time we pick up in the evening which has been over 10 times. You can just shop your own groceries faster by going inside yourself. Do not use this locations pick up service.

They closed their customer service counter at 3PM, when i missed it by 30 minutes... Not everyone has all day to just shop and be gluttonous. Thanks for wasting my time! I hope the Broncos lose today!

They actually had a cashier working. What an amazing concept.  Waiting for Walmart to roll out their next phase, which will have the customers unload the trucks and stock the shelves.  Customer service is an unheard of concept with this store.

This Walmart is going to remodel or improve to a “better Walmart”. Not sure if they will close down completely or will remain open during all construction and improvement. Anyway lots of shelving are empty already or things are moved so  that means you might not find what you’re looking for. Still pretty busy!
Truckers are there and they parking lot even though there are signs not overnight parking, thanks to Walmart they are truckers friendly, but some nasty drivers do not deserve to be there. See pictures. Please guys clean after you and respect opportunity that you are getting from Walmart that you can park on their driveway for god sake!

I had a bad experience today in the Walmart N salida on tower rd. Five of their employees damaged my car and walked in laughing, the managers did absolutely nothing. Terrible customer service, employees need better training. So immature and disrespectful. I do not recommend shopping here and I will not return. Two of their employees were still in a meeting including the one who damaged my car window, happened to see the rest of them as I was checking out, I find it super disrespectful that nobody did anything even though I reported it twice  and all they did was laugh. I’m not upset about what they damaged I just think it is very disrespectful especially towards a customer.

First time visiting a Wal-Mart in 4 years. Last time visiting a Wal-Mart.

Rotting fruit, bottles of bathsoap just left open to dry out and crust over, random products just piled in the walk-ways...This place was awful.

I truly believe that lady Gabina Demaciel I believe was her name was very sweet she saw me and my sister looking for some noodles we couldnt find and she went out of her way to get us the noodles we wanted all the way from the bottom of the palette, that is a true team player she deserves a raise or a bonus because i am almost positive that she treats other customers the same. Customer service rate: 100/10 👌🏼👌🏼

Nice people inside, well stocked, clean. They didn't have plastic bags in any of the self-service checkouts on any of our visits. We usually don't mind because we carry our own nanobags.
