We have chair lift ordered and installed for my mother. Craig with Arctic Mobility Solutions was super helpful with selecting best option for us.  AMS also gave us best price we could find in Anchorage. We had municipal inspector approved equipment and installation, giving us even more confidence in new equipment. We really enjoyed working with Craig, he was personable and very upbeat. Mom loves her chair lift, her legs are happy, new lift improved quality of her life big time. I have been using a mobility scooter for 7 years after suffering a stroke and getting treatment for cancer.  I recently moved back to Anchorage after living in Canada for 2 years, and my goal is to live independently as much as possible. The assistive device that I purchased there (2 mobility scooters) were beginning to have problems due to aging + wear and tear due to the heavy use I was subjecting them to in my quest to live independently.

I was pleasantly surprised to find a new provider in Anchorage for my mobility needs.   I found the repair service here to be prompt, thorough, high quality and affordable and decided to write a review to express my satisfaction and gratitude to Craig for getting such great customer service.

Craig was able to make a special consideration for us when we were unable to reach another wheelchair van rental place.  I'm incredibly relieved to know that we will have an accessible van for our trip, as without one we would have been stranded at the airport with a heavy power chair and no way to get anywhere.  Thank for being professional and kind, and above all for answering the phone.

We got T-boned back in March, it took awhile for the parts to come in.But as soon as they did they had us bring our vehicle in. I have a few friends/coworkers who have said getting their cars body work done has taken 3+ months. Swickard took only a month to pretty much replace the whole right side of our car. Very happy with how well of a job they did.
My only real "complaint" was the communication was a little lacking we had to call them for updates. But they are also very busy so I didn't fault them for that all. Posted before & after pics 10/10 would recommend.

I have used this body shop twice and both times the results were amazing!

I had a new black Tahoe repaired and the color matched perfectly!

I also had a Chevrolet Colorado repair and the metallic paint was a perfect match!

Two of the nicest people in Alaska own Alaska Mobility. Courteous and kind. Both Pat and Bessy are efficient and knowledgeable about their products. They took their time with me. Gave me the best deal not only in Anchorage on my new New Jazzy Passport Power Chair, it was the best deal online too. Honest and no games, I feel that they really care about their customers. I got the chair I wanted delivered to my home in less than 24 hours. It was not an easy delivery, Bessy literally had to go through an alvalanche on my deck which came down from my roof this morning. And I was sure that most people would have said no way not her. A big smile and with confidence she said I think I won't have a problem, I was scared for her but she never stopped smiling and had my new chair in my home in few minutes. I am extremely grateful for both of their attitudes and great customer service and my new portable, foldable electric wheel chair. Filled up with gas and asked to use restrooms. Was told they were located outside and if locked someone was using. Waited 15 minutes and wound up having to go back to our rented place a half hour away because our granddaughter couldn’t hold it any longer and wet herself. Come to find out there wasn’t anyone in the restroom this was their lazy way of getting out of cleaning it. Saw an employee come out and use a key to access it as we were driving away. Why couldn’t they just have told us they had it closed to the public?!!

I paid Top Dollar for a fresh sandwich.  It expired yesterday the 19th.  It is the second time I got sick from their food. ( the other time it was an egg roll ). The owner was EXTREMELY rude an is an Eastern European.  I am going to report them to the Better Businesses Bereau.  Stay AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!

The carwash broke my windshield and they said I have no proof it was the car wash because I heard the windshield crack when the arm of the washer put pressure on my windshield ..They refused to cover the 300 hundred dollars and would not even cover half of it when I said I would accept that ..Don’t wash your car at Kilauea Shell car wash ..Warning ,,Beware !!

I recently had a nail in my tire, and Shell impressed me with their lightning-fast service and efficient tire repair. 🚗💨🔩

As soon as I pulled into the Shell gas station, their attentive staff immediately greeted me and assessed the situation. Within minutes, they swiftly attended to my tire and skillfully removed the pesky nail. The entire process was smooth, seamless, and left me thoroughly impressed. ⏱️🛠️

Very rude and angry at the person in charge of HI-5 recycling today at 1:35 on
8/15/23(just in case anyone at Shell management cares) I will not return here until this dude is gone. He obviously hates his job here. Please be warned!

Aloha Shell is one of the few remaining mom & pop gas stations that still employ attendants offering "full service" at some of the pumps. Young ones won't know what the hell that means, so Google it! They even have a repair garage that always looks busy. No convenience store though.

While I don't come here for gas, I was forced here for the HI-5 recycling redemption service, ran by Aloha Recycling. I usually patronize the location next to UHMC but their redemption center has been closed for several weeks already due to staffing, but you can still drop off recyclables there.

Tucked in between the gas station and car wash is the small, dirty and bustling operation. Grab one of the netted carts, dump your separated goods in them and wheel it to the attendant. They'll print out a receipt which you take to the gas station's window cashier who'll disperse your money.

So nice to find a station that can still do full service. Since Iʻm not ma`a at all to car maintenance, it was good to have my tires and engine fluid levels checked. Will be coming back regularly to have these things checked. The employees were super friendly and helpful.

Do Not stop here or use the carwash!! 18.00 with gas..my car looks worse than when I went in. Smelled like a toilet...no soap...asked for my money back, was yelled at by the VERY RUDE OWNER. I will dispute with my credit card company.

Besides gas, engine fluids, drinks and snacks, its a convenient place for all of your car needs.

They have a car wash, 2 Vacuums, air/water machine for your car. They also have a distilled water refill machine for drinking water which fills a 5 gallon bottle or smaller.

The smell is just awful. The brushes look like they haven't been cleaned in decades. They rub against your car without soap.

Hard to find but good prices and quality gas

I went to buy a musubi and a bento I believe I remember that a musubi was 2.09 but not a bento , I gave the cashier a 20$ and in turn gave me $1 and a couple of cents,  this means the bento was probably 17$ , the lady gave the wrong amount or I got scammed, it would be great if you guys put prices on or next to the foods. The cashier was a woman probably around 20, 30, 40ish food was good tho

Overpriced items and will put extra charges without you noticing. Do not ever go here. There is another shell a couple of miles past this one. Go there instead.

One of only two (that I know of) sources ethanol-free gasoline on the island.

I fill up with gasoline every day with the company vehicles. At this gas station it is rare to have a day when I don't spend at least €60 on refueling. I forgot my company card and I had the car on reserve. I told him please let him have my ID so he could fill up with gas and his answer was emphatically, no, they had it completely prohibited, despite refueling me daily, maybe it is an order from the company, but it is not logical with customers who refuel all of them. the days in that same establishment and also in my case that it would make it easier for him to leave the identity document
