Felt like I was going to get mugged in broad daylight on the weekend within seconds of getting out of the car. Lots of people just hangout out and no cars. Be careful!

BEWARE

Bought 2 zig zag products from this location with a employee named  and never received them. I walk out, realized that I didn't get the products and came back in and told her. All she did was give me a receipt obviously my provoking point that I paid for it. She continuea to tell me to call a manager tomorrow when my money has been stolen from shell TODAY !  I'm never shopping here again I swear to God and my kids. Straight up got the homelss treatment while more money than these guys.

They charge almost double the gas station a block away.

Service is horrible. The lady claimed they were closed but had people in the store. Neighbor is already scary as hell. There was no signs on the door saying the were closed she made me walk to other side then tell me she was closed then watched me the whole time.

The people here are very friendly, and it's one of the few stores near by that has a good variety of alcohol and coffee! I also highly recommend grabbing a brownie or two at the counter. Delicious!

This convenient store had a diverse inventory. It's fairly easy to get in to. Their beer & grocery items are a little more expensive than other stores in the area. Their gas prices usually run around 3 to 5 cents more than other gas stations nearby.

I work here every day other then thursdays. Come see us and buy the best hot boiled peanuts and tomatoes with a great taste straight from a garden and not hot house. We have a little bit of everything! We been here for 26 years for a reason.

They are terrible. Terrible service terrible attitudes, I bought 3 different disposable here and all 3 we’re burnt

The manager they have now is HORRIBLE. She has no idea how to be a manager, doesn’t apologize for anything and throws her team to the wolves. If there’s any issues, you probably want to contact corporate.

I finally quit using the Shell station after trying for about five years. The pumps consistently have problems, where are you have to go inside to pay. With so many other gas stations offering service at the pump, I have finally quit trying this place. The air and water pumps are often broken down as well

Pretty normal gas station, always clean so that's a plus. The best thing about this location is the cashier Mona she's always helpfully and always seems to be in a great mode, I give this place 5 starts just because of her

Deceptive in price and dirty. The price on the sign out front shows a cheaper price but when you get to the pump it's actually a higher price unless you pay cash or have a shell credit card to get that 10 cent cheaper price. Pumps are also dirty and the credit card machines don't work, so you have to go inside to pay.

The only saving grace to this place was the location, nearest the airport? I don't know about gouging but I paid $5.99 a gallon. The main reason for my rating is that it too about 15 minutes to pump in less than 5 gallons of gas and when I started smelling a stronger smell of gasoline than normal, found that the pump had not stopped when full. I estimate about 1/4 to 1/2 gallon spilled to the ground since the auto stop did not work. Moreover, the receipt did not print, and therefore had to waste even more time waiting in line at the register.

The reason this particular station? $6 a gallon? $7 for premium. I got like two. I drive for a living. I get a tank of gas every day. I paid $3.04 elsewhere. As others have said, they are definitely price gouging here. I don't even agree with price gouging as a general economic principle, but this is outrageous. I bought like 2 gallons and went on about my life.

I'm completely disgusted with this business. Never have I seen such obvious price gouging. The owner(s) are a disgrace and are taking advantage of travelers. This really makes me sick. On 11/27/23 I chose to fill up my rental car's gas tank; based on convenience to the Phoenix Airport Rental Car Center. As soon as I pulled up to the pump, I regretted that decision. At that time, it was too late to fuel up at one of its competitors. I paid $5.99 gallon for 87 octane gasoline. Since filling up at Shell I have done searches on other stations in the same area. The other filling stations were all far below $4 per gallon. Never again will I fill up any gas tank at a Shell station. They lost a customer for life. I will be filing a complaint with AZ Attorney General's office. Congratulations!

Wish I'd read the reviews before letting the rental get so low.
$5.99 is gouging and obviously Shell Corporation is NOT genuine about making things right. Months have gone by and the situation has not changed. As I found out yesterday. Stay clear of this location and possibly other Shell stations.

Utterly ridiculous gas prices. If you need to return your rental car, please go elsewhere. These guys are absolutely gouging customers based on the proximity to the Rental Car Return Center. $5.99/gallon Sunday when all reports in the area are sub $4. You have been warned!

I barely write reviews, especially of gas stations, but this place. It makes you feel like home in a weird way, friendly faces and great customer service. Forget the qt down the road or the 76 across the street, come to this place to pick up your beers or whatever when you get off work, the rest of your night will be great.

The owners work here, and are kind and nice to regulars, and it's definitely worth it to become a regular here. They are friendly just the right amount: sociable but not overly perky or too much in your business. They will keep a stock of what you like to buy if you're a regular customer. Be good to them and they will be good to you: the ideal neighborly place.

Been in this area a while and they consistently have the worst gas prices in the county - but the inside is interesting and open late. Fake supreme beanies made me lol

The old lady that works in the morning with short hair always has an attitude. Never smiling. Always rude as hell. Needs to improve her customer service skills. She need to retire. Old hag.

Very attentive and energetic cashiers. One of them came around the counter and helped me pick a purse color and another played a prank on my husband (in good spirit). A short visit--with amazing views and merchandise. We really enjoyed ourselves.

Don't stop here.  If I could rate 0 stars I would.  Gas is pay at pump only, they will not accept cash.  They force everyone to walk thru gift shop to enter Dairy Queen as well as have the gas station convenience store shut down. Hoping you buy a gift and inconvenience you at the same time.

I used to drive back and forth between Tucson and Scottsdale for years and I always stopped at this station to stretch my legs or get a little ice cream. They have a goofy gift shop with all the touristy things you might want to buy. They always have a great selection of fireworks during the season as well. Every time I stopped in I also found the bathrooms to be clean and tidy. I was always happy to spend a few bucks here.

I needed a place to meet up with friends halfway between Phoenix and Tucson that would be easy to find. This is the only place that fit the bill close to I-10. There’s a cozy little spot nearby but it’s only open for dinner. We also needed to grab a bite before going to Picacho Peak State Park since there’s nowhere to eat there (other than picnicking).   It’s a gas station and souvenir shop similar  to places across the country. Nothing special. If you pass through Casa Grande which is closer to Phoenix there’s a better restaurant than this lousy Dairy Queen.

They have a large sulection of cool stuff to look at to take home with you, or to give as presents...

I find the owners fine. It's the new staff they hired. The new lady serving the breakfast sandwiches. She was rude and prejudice.  Ignoring my existence. I provide sales that promote your existence, and I should be treated as such.

If I could give negative stars I would. Got DOUBLE CHARGED on foodstamp card yesterday 5/14 and the man who did it made sure to change the amounts just slightly 18.13 then 18.53 FOR THE SAME ITEMS!  Lied and said my transaction didn't go through when it said approved on my end and would NOT let me leave until he successfully double charged me! Please be cautious going into this store! And using any type of card to pay for anything. Don't want anyone else getting scammed

The service is bad, and the prices are very high, compared to nearby gas stations, consumer protection should investigate

(5days after "owner" Responded) *** I don't know why you bother to answer peoples reviews when very clearly nothing is being done to remedy the issues.  What do you care right?  You have a monopoly on that corner and you still make hand over fist money...you just won't be getting any more of my money.

I am done coming here.  I came for breakfast, got a muffin and drink...no worries got THE only person who works there and is nice.
Stopped again around 2:30pm and picked up lighters and a 12 pack of trulys...the older gentleman was brisk and rude and acted like my money wasn't green enough.
Stopped again around close and found a f'real shake that had no top on it...offered to pay for it though it was not mine and I intended to throw it away...just was trying to make the manager aware of it...he shoved it at me and told me to "take it with me"...and was overly animated and slamming things around as he rung us up.  Had I not been so surprised at his behavior I would have said never mind and left everything on the counter and left.  NEVER COMING BACK.

Love the place and the real food thats yummy greatness

The staff was very friendly, but it didn't feel like the safest location at night, and the station bays were littered with garbage that someone had recently left. The attendant was heading out to clean them though, which shows they value the upkeep and don't let trash accumulate. The store was ok, but definitely older. They had snacks, drinks, and a decent bathroom. I'd stop again, but would prefer to do so in the daytime.

The quality of this station has steadily declined with one or more pumps frequently out of order.  The attendants often claim they can't fix anything and pretend they can't understand English.  The final straw was last night in the middle of a large rainstorm none of the pumps would reset to allow pay at the pump.  I went inside through the rain to ask the woman inside to reset the pump so I could get gas.  She feigned ignorance and said I could pay inside with cash. She eventually admitted she COULD reset the pumps, but she would only do it if I would pay inside.  I left and neither I nor any of my family will ever return to this station.  I believe SHELL needs to audit this station. I only gave 1 star because you can't post with 0 stars

Went to 3.09 gallon during the gas shortage. Taking advantage of a situation. Trying to profit off of a negative situation. Yes, you have the right to charge what you want. I have the right to shop elsewhere. Price gouging at its finest. I will not ever use them again. I encourage others to remember this. If you give them your money you are condoning price gouging.

Went there right at 10:00pm, I guess they were closing instead of at 11pm. And gas was $1.79,  I was parked by the pump for not even 5 minutes before we went inside to pay with cash to come back out to the pump and the gas price was now $1.89! Went back in to talk to young lady and with phone to her ear during the entire conversation, then states her boss told her to, in a rude manner! Repeats that gas is now $1.89, so I asked for my money back and went to QT gas station off Riverstone which their gas price was $1.73.

Gouged during hurricane. $3.79 for gas. Literally took child's crackers from my hand and stated "these aren't charged enough" and started marking them up. Refused to sell good for their own published prices. Does not know the law of the State of Georgia and does not care.

If you don't look closely, the guy who is at the counter charges you extra money, he has tried to charge more, people please ask for your receipt so they don't take advantage of it.

This used to be my go to gas station. Tonight, they lost my business. Was cheaper and higher quality than most around and increments from low grade to premium were the lowest around as well. A few months ago, the increments went up. They have new ownership as of about a month ago and now the increments are up even higher @ $.30 from low to mid to premium. Happens with every station that is bought by non native people. I can ONLY put premium in my car and I drive my vehicle for a living . You've ruined my night new owners.... you truly have.

Cleanest exterior bathroom I have ever experienced. Lock doesn't work though. Staff are always super nice and in a good mood. There is a little restaurant in there that has some BOMB food. I know they serve in the morning. Not sure about lunch or later times. But amazing food.

Super nice people work here, seriously. But this gas station is over priced for absolutely no reason. If sunflower seeds say a dollar on the bag what makes you think I’m paying 1.20 plus tax?! Or 1.80 for a small coffee when there is no creamer or sugar available?  That is crazy. I heard they just changed owners and let me be the first to tell anyone, we miss the old owners! Or 6.00 for cigarettes that only cost 4.59 at other stores?! CRAZY.

Best gas station in towne lake area. I stop often and have gotten to know a few of the employees simply bc they started to recognize me after becoming a "regular" ( i stop in about 4 or 5 times a week) and they always say hello Jesse as well as check and see if I'm doing ok in general. Its nice to be recognized and to make small talk while cashing out instead of the Qt hello......pay me...thanks.....see you next time line I get everytime and from everyone. Thank you Alma and John. You are the reason I spend my money here instead of at Qt....race trac...bp....etc.
