The place doesn’t look very clean, but the worst part is that the bathrooms which everyone needs to use ( for men ) are our of service and the women’s bathroom is not very clean.

This is a Shell gas station with a larger store attached to a McDonald's.  The bathrooms are multi-stall and were clean at the time of my visit but not in the best overall condition.  The store sells typical gas station food and drinks as well as souvenir type local items.  The store itself was also clean.

I do not agree with the fact that they kick homeless off of the property with police involved. Honestly, that is extremely disrespectful and pathetic for a community that supposed to be caring. Did you know by kicking them off that property they aren’t allowed to go to the McDonald’s either. The cheapest place to eat in dodge city. so not only do they not have shelter from the rain anymore. They can’t find a cheap meal unless they drive to hood hope.

They have pocket knives designed to look like AK47s on a low shelf right at the perfect height for preschoolers to grab.  They open very easily and many are sitting there open. They're even right next to kids character items.
So irresponsible.

My experience today was a harrowing one. As I went  up to the check out, I hear the two ladies on the clock gossiping (about who or what, I’m unsure). They did not acknowledge me, or stop their conversation for long enough to realize someone was standing there, until I spoke to them first. They proceeded to continue their conversation, while not speaking to me, simultaneously ringing up my purchases. It wouldn’t have been a big deal, I’m not that social anyway, but, as someone spending money in the establishment, it’d have been nice to have been acknowledged in some way(heck any way). At the end, the cashier said some of the only words through the entire process, she loudly proceeded to yell “Declined” when the card didn’t go through(because the cashier hit the wrong button, I might add). If someone were going through financial issues, this would be an extremely embarrassing way to be told that they cannot afford the things they are trying to purchase. There was an entire line of people and the store was a highly trafficked area.I would retrain your employees on polite conversation, acknowledging the consumer, and how to approach someone who may be having money issues. As I’ve said, she just hit the wrong button, so I wasn’t actually declined, but I’ve been in that position before & it’s not a nice feeling. Sole reason I’m giving 2 stars is because the place is clean, well stocked, and has a wonderful selection of everything. If only you all had better staff, it’d a perfect stop to fill up, snack, and shop.

The dude that works there is rude, me and my fiancee walk there everyday and we have spent maybe around $500 there. I was $0.29 short and he huffed at me because he had to ring up the items again. I love to support small businesses but not when they are rude. We are not returning again. Update: I went there again today and the card reader messed the corner of my card up while inserting the chip, the same dude Is still rude and he was mumbling stuff to me after I paid and I asked him what was up, and he told me to either get out or shut up

Whats the point of a gas station when the pumps do not work?

Pam is very rude. I was passing through town and got some chicken and fries and they were old and burnt. I went back in to give them back and get a refund. She said no refunds then proceeded to remake them. Okay fine. She gave me raw chicken. The outside looked good but the inside were frozen still I’m glad I don’t live here.

Prices for Plus and Premium WAY HIGHER than other stations during same time period. I buy Shell whenever it's convenient, and have for decades. I've never seen another Shell have this disparity in pricing.

It has all of ur basic wants and needs from a gas station. They do have Diesel fuel pumps for the bigger trucks, off to the side of the store. They also have cell phones and offer a variety of Vap products. Staff are friendly and polite, extremely courteous. The window washer wand left alot to be desired, there was only the 1 washer wand for a 6 car fuel pump station.  I plan on returning.

They have a lot of variety for lunch in this store. The people working here are not Texas Friendly! Very rude service. They definitely project that they don’t care if you ever come back.

No public restrooms, drinks are high, what drinks they do have is limited (no sparkling water, bubly, la croix, aha).

The lady at the counter was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely return. Highly recommended.

The staff was very nice to me yesterday. The restrooms were very clean.

REAL BUSY up in this place but that subway in the store makes your stop that much better.

Got gas and liquor! A double purchase of "go juice"...u can't do that in Texas.

Just filled up my gas at this Gas station $65.89, full tank at 14.97G. Give me cruise range only 290 miles included 77 miles left over in the tank. Usually, full tank got me 350 to 411 miles. Something’s not right!

Went for a pack of smokes and had mobile coupons for their already Over Priced cigarettes. They was on a list of stores that takes these coupons and once you click redeem you only get 5 minutes then it's gone. Well they refused to take my coupon even though it was specifically set to their store so I lost out on my savings. I asked for 2 packs and he only came back with one. To busy talking to the other employee to pay any attention to what I was asking for. Will not be going back there again.

This place use to be nice! Now they don't ask for IDs when buying beer watched 19 and 20 years old buy beer!
They no longer take food stamps!

Whoever the gentleman is working overnight acts really weird, overly touching and smiling when not needed. It has happened numerous times just making me feel so uncomfortable when I come into the store. None of the other employees have made me feel awkward.
Other than that the store is clean and it has so many options.

Trucker friendly (as long as you’re respectful, don’t throw trash out, and don’t block anyone from entering/exiting when parked) I rolled in at 3:30am and asked if I could sleep here for a few hours. Both ladies at the register were super nice, explained exactly where I could park, and one of them even beeped the horn on her way out of work and gave me a thumbs up. Thank you for caring about truckers, will gladly give you business every chance I can!!!

The bathrooms are disgusting, out of toilet paper, mold everywhere, avoid if at all possible!

Giving a one is generous! All 3 of the ladies working here today have the worst customer service and people skills! The cashier was rude. She did not greet us or even speak as we approached the cash register. My husband asked her how she was doing and she said nothing. Just looked at us like we did something to her. The lady cleaning the restrooms was cussing and mad about people using them. The other lady was just as rude as the cashier who check us out.  Whoever owns this store needs new staff. Good luck if you stop here.

It would probably be a good idea to hire staff that are competent enough to fill the toilet paper in the bathrooms.  None of the 3 stalls had any toilet paper and after I informed staff (while no one else was in line) that it needed to be replaced, he wouldn't even move and barely acknowledged that I said it was empty.  This guy just stood their like he had some mental issue that prevented his ability to do anything other than stand there.  Hire competent people and if they can't do the job then get a service company to do it. Was there on 12/21/21

The bathroom was disgusting it was blood all of the last stall. That bathroom looks as if it had never been cleaned. The two stars are because the employee was nice.

I love this particular Shell/IGA. The managers, cashiers, assistants, stocking crew take there job seriously and professionally. They greet you with a smile and get to know there customers while delivering customer satisfaction in a timely fashion. The store stays clean and need and all five stars are earned!!!

I've been here a few times during the day very nice place some people are pretty nice apart from that this place is not 24 hours and the pumps or anything aren't even on at 5:45 in the morning if you try to open the door like any normal customer would, they just signal you with their hands raising six fingers to say that they open at 6:00 this place is useless if you're going to tell people it's 24 hours but then they spend all their time coming here and yet still have to wait because of their lies

I go there almost every day very great place to shop etc.

Showed up here at 5:44 am and all pumps were stopped. People rely on gas stations to get gas anytime so this place horribly fails at its very purpose of existence!

Their chicken is really good and so is the ice cream but the machine was down.

The night shift working with facial piercings is a b****!!!! Should be fired immediately for in appropriate behavior. Free can of dip for anyone who feels like feeling her up in the back room apparently though!!!

As a frequent user of this business I can say it has the best Cashiers. Yes it a bit pricier but that is due to location and just plain inflation.

As far as the store and the gas stations, everything was fine the car wash is what we Over paid $12 car wash that had a broken spinner on the side which washes the truck and most certainly didn’t get the soap all off. Highly dissatisfied

I refuse to spend 100 dollars a night at a gas station that doesn't provide a bathroom. This is ridiculous. No restroom again.

Wish I had her name but the younger girl cashier working at 3pm with glasses is absolutely amazing! Very funny, as someone who drives way too much, she single handedly made this shell my favorite gas station to go to!

This place is terrible. It has the WORST customer service I’ve ever experienced anywhere. I definitely go out of my way to avoid having to stop at this place! I do not recommend this place to anyone.

ok place, prices could definitely be better but compared to other gas station prices they're about average. Late night you can't go in just stop in and walk up to their window an know what you want, because there isn't another open gas station for miles

Website says 5am to open I got there at 6am they still weren’t open and when I called the lady hung up on me for asking what time they open. Terrible customer service

A newer looking station with an open feel. Toilets were in need of cleaning when I visited.

I only pulled into here because I was running on fumes and it was conveniently close to the doctor's office. However the pumps don't allow Google pay. When I finally scan the card it only pumps about a third of a gallon and shut off. All the other pumps are apparently broken. I never have this problem at Speedway which is cheaper and 200 yards away. I know pumps can break but the fact that they don't offer Google pay is unacceptable. I won't be going to Shell again

All three things I bought from here this morning were expired. Disgusting….

I want you to notice how old the reviews are that are good... more than a year old compared to mine... why? Because back then, this place was TOP NOTCH! Arguably one of the BEST places in Lexington. Then new ownership took over and it went downhill FAST! They are consistently out of pop in their fountain drink section, the quality of food has went down, the service is horrendous compared to the STELLAR service there was once there. I work at a hotel in the area, and I now REFUSE to allow any of their menus in my hotel, before I even had groups use them for catering, and now I would never recommend them. I am so disappointed. I am just glad there is a Speedway close by and I will drive right past this place to go there, at least their candy is fresh, their drinks are stocked. And the service, while still not comparable to this company's old team is still better than what is there now.
