Ramos Generales El Almacén

We ordered sparking water, got orange juice. Ordered chicken sandwich and made sure it’s without sauce, got with mayonnaise. Also received cafe and mousse although we didn’t order… The “Hot chocolate” was actually milk and chocolate bar the side. Way too expensive for what you get. We left and went to eat in another restaurant for cheaper and much more selection.

The food is nice. But dining experience in a restaurant is more than nice food. I was ignored at the entrance for a long time. The female waitress walked past me a few times (refusing to look at me). I’m an Asian. I’m not sure if that is discrimination. It was certainly not a good experience. Low star for the bad experience.

The unique decorations make this place a must eat here just to see the place. However, you will not be disappointed with the food. Everything is delicious. We stop here twice in our stay in Ushuaia.

We had lunch here while visiting Ushuaia, it's situated near the port area, nearly always on full capacity, the interiors are well decorated. We had Sopa del dia calabaza y Risotto del mar. The food was quite delicious.

It's one of the famous touristic places to go while visitng Ushuaia. It's coffee shop has been around so long that you can notice its long history when you walk into the door. Hot chocolate is famous here. Make sure to 'double' the chocolate so that you can experience the full rich chocolate tatse. It's so good! Paring it up with a couple of pastries is going to be the best!
