REI

The staff at this location are a mixed bag in terms of knowledge and general outdoor product experience. REI has been our go-to source for most of our outdoor needs but they lost our business forever from the way we were treated. A simple item exchange was requested for a defective product. Good bye REI!! - a loyal customer for over 30 years. (There are a lot of great employees at REI - just not this location).

It’s been a while since I’ve been to this store but it’s exactly as I remember it. The selection is extraordinary and the service is equally impressive. I can be in the store for hours but unfortunately I was in a bit of a hurry. I was able to score a great deal on some hiking boots and wool socks. D’Andre in the shoe department went above and beyond to make sure we walked out with a smile, and we did. Thanks for the great service and taking the time to explain in detail all of our options. Even gave us a little lesson on how to tie a runners knot! Will definitely be back again.

Been a REI co-op member for a lot of years. I just wanted to say that today I was SO glad I went to the store! I got an exceptional deal on a hydroflask but didn't want to pay to have it shipped to my home. I went in here and Robert helped me and his service was great. He gave me recommendations on things, made me feel at home in the store, and just made my experience today. I'll be back soon!

Cashier gave me a hard time about returning a brand new unused item I picked up in store that day so I could then buy said item back using my 20% off one full price item member benefit. He felt the need to “educate” me by explaining this was like buying a meal at Burger King, eating it, and then going back up to the register to ask for a discount. Seems to me this employee needs to be “educated” on REI’s return policy.

The employees at REI are outstanding. I want to be clear....My frustrations with REI, is they are always out of stock of neon lanterns that i am interested in. #2 i bought 2 flashlights, both never even stood a charge. So i buy 2 phone banks..Both had to be returned. So i did some digging, and it seems that these products are from a country, that the USA has made sure they got as big as they are and World War 3 is close. China. CHEAP PRODUCTS. CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP PRODUCTS. SUPPORT US MANUFACTURING. I DONT KNOW ONE PRODUCT THEY EVER MADE THAT WAS ANY GOOD? SO I HAVE TO QUESTION THE WISDOM WITH SENIOR MANAGEMENT..
