Budget Blinds of Burlington

I am very pleased with my new blinds. Measurements and an estimate were given at the same visit by one of the owners. They arrived in a timely manner and were installed with no mess whatsoever. I will recommend this company to anyone who asks me.

First and foremost, my installer Curtis was TEN STARS! Hands down! So the four stars do not reflect his service to me but I doubt google will let me leave two reviews so I must do this all at once and can’t put the 5 start that reflect Curtis’s service. And Matt who did my consultation & measurements was amazing as well! Above and beyond, answered every question I had, welcoming, presented themselves well, very professional, respectful and people-friendly “. Even took their shoes off at my front door! The four stars are for the slight inconveniences I faced with hours of operation, payment options & difference in the color of my vertical vs standard blinds I ordered. They are only able to come out on weekdays by 5pm. This is for consultations and installing as well. I commute 35mins to work & don’t get off until 530pm Mon-Fri so this proved very difficult for me to work around as a single mom in an area I am pretty new to not knowing anyone around who could help stand in my place with Budget Blinds while I worked. But Laura surly tried her best to work with me on stretching the time and compromising. But I ended up just having to work around it by waiting a little longer for a holiday which I was off of work. Also, there is no way to pay online and believe me, I searched the whole website which in turn made me have to call and ask how to pay. Budget Blinds only accepts checks, money orders or payment over the phone with you giving them your debit info. And that I don’t like. Also, the money doesn’t post right away. It took about 4 business days to come out of my account which was still fine but without an email of receipt and confirmation, I had to keep checking my account instead worrying they didn’t run my card numbers correctly. I even emailed and asked for a receipt after but didn’t receive it. When calling, it’s always a different person who answers and then they get someone to call back which means you may have to explain who you are, who you spoke with, who helped you, your zip code and what is needed and then get a call back. They do call you back though and that I do like! Every single person I had to speak to on that phone when I had to call was above and beyond on the customer service as well and very nice and friendly and clearly relayed messages to Matt or Laura when I needed. And they both always contacted me back asap. Another thing I didn’t like, was that my blinds component to open or close them don’t have grip on them, so when turning it, it’a like turning a straw. My friend who is the reason I picked budget blind, for her blinds from them two years ago, look just like mine and have square grips at the bottom that make hers way easier to open and close. I’m guess this is a different manufacturer than whoever they used for her blinds at the time. Also, my sliding glass window blinds are not the same in color as my blinds so the colors are slight different and noticeable as the sliding window is between the two side windows in my living room. But I am happy with the blinds themselves and the quality. Their customer service alone is why I will be back (even after the few inconveniences I face) when I buy my next home as well!!

Raphael & Brian did a fabulous job. They were very focused...& worked well as a team. They were very professional & personable. When a situation a rose towards the end, they figured out the problem & corrected it. We would highly recommend them & the business.

The installers were very courteous and very efficient doing the installation. I would recommend Budget Blinds to anyone who is in the market for new window treatments. The windows in my sunroom look fantastic now.
