Burn Boot Camp

I attended an amazing event for Small Business Saturday, was glad to be back in a gym environment after years of working out on my own.  Tried the friends and family and was sold to join!  The instructors were terrific, class was challenging, and people were supportive!  My kind of gym!  Can’t wait to get started!

I joined Burn Boot Camp a month ago and it has been an incredible experience. The trainers, staff, child watch workers and the people are amazing! As a mom of three littles it’s always been hard to get to the gym and I’m so thankful for the child watch at Burn! My kids love it and want to go to workout with me! It’s a win-win for me and my kiddos! I love the workouts at Burn and am so thankful to have found a place for me and my stage of life!

I love Burn! It is a place where I get to spend 45 minutes uninterrupted on making myself stronger. The trainers and other members are so encouraging and you feel like part of the family from the moment you walk in. The trainers are also great at demonstrating each move while also offering options to modify up or down depending on your fitness level. The best part is the sense of community within those doors. Whether it’s encouraging words, high fives in the gym, or an accountability partner or messaging group you are sure to find what you need to keep pushing yourself here! I started Burn a little over 3 years ago, fell in love with it hard and fast! I came from a different gym where the struggle to get weight off and build lean muscle was real, this is where Burn changed my life. I’ve lost over 10% body fat, 40+ lbs have been shed and I’ve learned a whole new way to challenge myself mentally and physically! Love it! Super challenging but accommodating to meet you where you are in your fitness journey.  Love the community and accountability as well as the fact that they have childcare.

I love this place! I’ve been coming for over a year and a half now. Madison is the best! I’ve not gone to anyone but her by choice. She’s so friendly and really made me feel comfortable about the process. Every time I go in she remembers what we talked about. It’s like catching up with a good friend. I won’t go to anyone else, but I’m sure the other girls are awesome too.

I honestly would give 0 to Diandra if I could. I never like to write reviews when I go places but I’m writing this because I don’t want any other customer from this place go through the same experience I did today. I booked an appoiment to do my eyebrows, just a clean up. Diandra was the person who helped me and God I regret it so much. She literally destroyed my eyebrows. As she was doing my eyebrows I asked her if it wasn’t hard to do eyebrows with the sugar and she told me “No its not hard for me, some other girls used the stick but I don’t like it  so I used my fingers and my firgers are small, so that works.” I honestly didn’t think of anything weird because I’ve been to this place to do the brazilian with Madisson and she is awesome; but Diandra in the other hand doesn’t know how to do eyebrows so its not the place is the person.

I’m leaving you pictures of how she cut off the tail of my eyebrow. Like why??? It was just a clean up. And how she went that bad to take all of my hairs out from the end??
She was even telling me to take more hair out to fix it?? Like really?? Who in their head will think taking more hairs out will fix the damage?? Noooo. The problem right here is Diandra took off more hair than what she should. Can she put it back?? No. Then she can’t fix the problem. Now, it’s going to take me a long a very long time to grow back my hair and I will have to makeup my eyebrows to make it look not so bad.

Just people please, don’t book with her for eyebrows. It’s literally the worst experience I have to go through. Never in my life I imagined this.

I know it’s not the place because I love my brazilians with Madisson or Amy but please don’t let Diandra do eyebrows services no more. She doesn’t know how to do eyebrows. Just look at the pictures.

Wow! What a great experience. Went in for my very first Brazilian and Autumn did an amazing job! Not only did she talk to me about all the procedures and the after care but she made me feel very comfortable and did the job fast. 10/10 recommend. All the employees were lovely as well and the salon is beautiful!!

Mackenzie is absolutely the best!! She remembers me every time I come in and even gave me a Xmas thank you card! I enjoy going to see her when I go in and catch up on our conversations from previous visits :D

McKenzie always does such a great job for all my waxing needs. I always feel very little to no pain. She’s very personable and super professional.

Live Beyond Limit

I wish I could put into words what an incredible place this is. Aerial Arts was always something I admired and never thought I could do. I finally put my fears and excuses behind me when I decided  to find an activity to build core strength and tone my body. The studio greeted me with open arms. Each of the teachers are encouraging and supportive. The other participants are an amazing support system as well; reminding me that they all started where I am at. In addition, my oldest daughter has decided to follow in my footsteps and try Aerial. She is incredible at it and inspires me every time I watch her. This commitment has built a confidence and a mental health release in her that I never expected and am so grateful for. I encourage any of you looking to try this. The reward has been beyond amazing and the studio has lived up to its name; reminding me that I too can live beyond limit!!!

I love LBL! Their new space is so lovely, welcoming and creates an inspiring space to create and play. I am very impressed with the cleanliness and decor. Kate is truly a wonderful person, so generous and kind to the community! She supports her local artists which means the world to us :)

Live Beyond Limit is not just an aerial studio. I it is a community. I joined about a year ago taking lyra lessons, and I had no idea I would become so involved! I was immediately welcomed and supported. I have never been flexible or good at gymnastics-type moves that I thought were required for aerial acrobatics, but the intro lyra instructor, Nicole, was so helpful and accommodating. Then the studio owner, Kate, recoginzed my dedication and asked me to be a part of their ambient art night performance. Being considered for their performance boosted by confidence substantially, and I felt very supported! One night, I chatted with Kate and mentioned that I wanted to teach hoop dance classes. I wasn't even thinking about teaching at the studio, but she told me that she wanted to create a community and would be open to letting me teach there too! Now I am an instructor, and I couldn't be happier to share my skills with the community.

The owner makes sure that classes are affordable for everyone. Many classes and packages include a sliding scale so that people can pay what they can afford. There are also donation classes in which people can pay whatever they are comfortable paying. As a low-income graduate student, I very much appreciate this consideration!

Aside from lessons and performances, the studio often has workshops, game nights, parties, and other social events. Community members frequently seek advice from each other and exchange items no longer needed with each other. I'm very glad to have joined this community.

If you want to get involved and don't know how, talk to any instructor or member. Or just walk through the door! You will likely be greated by the wonderful desk staff or the owner herself, maybe her dog too!

Went to Live Beyond Limit to do aerial yoga with my teammates. Kate was amazing and was very accommodating to us as complete beginners. It was a brand new and wonderful experience. Highly recommended!

I joined this community shortly after moving to Fort Collins and am so glad I did! I had never done aerial or aerial yoga in my life, and all of the LBL instructors are so patient and supportive as I learn and grow my skills. The community here in general is just so kind and welcoming! The "regular," on-the-ground yoga classes also have such a great balance on both physical and mental form, and I've been able to learn so much. Highly recommend checking out any class here - I've loved them all!

E8YOGA

Feeling fortunate to have discovered this hidden gem, E8 Yoga Studio has become my sanctuary for yoga practice. It exudes a magical atmosphere that nurtures the mind, body, and soul. The studio offers an impressive range of classes, from meditative sound baths to invigorating heated flows and challenging strength sessions. What sets E8 apart is its commitment to authenticity—a true community-based studio that values substance over frills.

The instructors at E8 are exceptional. Their knowledge, warmth, and unique teaching styles make each class a special experience. In just six months at E8, I've gained more insights into fine-tuning my body's unique form and honing my mental focus than in almost a decade of practicing yoga. One aspect I particularly love about E8 is the absence of mirrors in the studio. Breath Work with John: John is a very kind, easy going, and a well educated instructor! He is encouraging.  I LOVED this breathwork class! My being was different all DAY!! Wow the world was so so beautiful, colors were so much brighter, and feelings of awe and gratitude flowed easily.  It was a huge blessing and honestly this breath work, I feel, is Life changing!  Thank you again friend!"

Hip hop yoga at E8, taught by John, is a great way to combat Friday evening burnout. John's upbeat demeanor is infectious and his encouragement feels personal in the best possible way. Doing a yoga class at E8 is a journey, an arc of warm up, sustained core, and blissful relaxation that already has me looking forward to more.

E-8 Yoga studio is a spacious relaxing, clean studio.
I go to the Thursday hot yoga @ 9am with Dot. Dot is always at the front desk with her welcoming smile to greet us. Dot has a soothing and clear voice, so you always understand her yoga commands. She is also well informed with the anatomy.   Big plus is her humor and wit. I enjoy going to this little gem and hope to try some of the other classes.

Compassion, modification for personal injuries or debilitations, high energy and slow energy practices, dancing, hot practices, various meditations and a variety of special events has improved my health beyond my doctor’s expectations. The staff and owner are top notch people, who are wonderful to interact with. Enjoy! I do.

Earth Yoga Colorado

Earth Yoga Boulder is Boulder's BEST Restorative and Emotionally Intelligent Yoga Studio. This reverent space is dedicated to cultivating inclusivity, making yoga accessible, and honing in on collaborative community. This is a beautiful place to practice, teach, and connect with kindhearted souls.

I have found my Boulder Yoga home at Earth!  I am in the SCHOOL OF EMBODIED POETICS Embody Mandala, 300 Hour yoga teacher training program and am soaking up every minute of it.  I find myself intellectually stimulated for weeks after a training but am able to incorporate my new skill sets and learning immediately.  Shannon Paige is a master a supporting and encouraging personal evolution. I highly recommend any and all of their offerings of Earth and the School of Embodied Poetics.

I was originally drawn to Earth Yoga due to the simplicity of the name. We are all ultimately looking for that sacred connection to Mother Earth through our yoga practice and that is exactly what this studio embodies and provides. Shannon and Sarah have built such a safe, comforting, supportive community through this space. I have had truly transformative and enlightening experiences every time I have stepped foot into this studio. All of the instructors are challenging and encouraging, especially Shannon who's classes I highly recommend. This studio is by far the best Boulder has to offer!

The first time I went to Earth Yoga in Boulder was for a special New Years work shop. I was so over joyed by how welcoming and warm the studio is. After practicing with Shannon and Sarah, I knew that Earth was where I wanted to pursue my Yoga Teacher Training. From the moment I expressed interest, I was assured that I would be welcomed unconditionally. The offerings from this studio reach far beyond a guided class. I was given specific instructions in a clear and concise manner that has allowed me to strengthen my practice and learn to teach others. This lovely studio serves as a haven to those who want to learn. Shannon and Sarah are committed to making this practice assessable to everyone and Every Body. The rates are reasonable,the studio is clean,and the classes offer something for everyone.

My favorite studio in Boulder. Shannon Paige's unique style of yoga and the traditional Hindu myths she shares during class is what originally brought me to Earth Yoga. Since then I have also taken classes from Meghan & Sarah that were also wonderful and unique to each teacher. These ladies have a complex understanding of yoga all the way down to the different philosophies and styles. Shannon Paige developed her very own style of restorative yoga that is done at this studio, and sometimes includes breath work to complement the class and promote further relaxation. All of the teachers that I know at this studio are excellent about using clear cues to help students attain proper alignment in each yoga pose. Some of these ladies have been teaching for several decades and it shows. I highly recommend this studio for anyone new to or advanced in yoga.

A shorter summary would be...the studio is warm and inviting; each teachers' class is unique to them, and the sequences very creative while focused on proper alignment.

StretchLab

I love StretchLab! I was skeptical. I have so much more mobility in my hips than I have had for years and I have only had 4 sessions. They also encourage at home stretching to help you get the most out of your sessions.

Such a great location and atmosphere focused on health and wellness! State of the art technology to increase mobility. The stretches are very needed and I always leave feeling ready for anything! The team of trained Flexologists are kind, knowledgable, and the best all around!

Excellent experience today. I am post surgery for a hip replacement and my first session today was similar to my physical therapy sessions two years ago. I was very happy and scheduled more sessions.

The staff were all great, consistent in their stretching techniques. The atmosphere was welcoming, the equipment new and they clean between clients. The stretching felt amazing, you are in control of the length of your stretches. They give you full support and helpful stretches to do in between appointments. Highly recommend!

I’ve been going to StretchLab  for about four weeks to help with muscle tightness from Spin classes.  Not only have I noticed a big difference in my flexibility and recovery from my workouts, I am also learning how to get in touch with muscles I didn’t know I had.  Riley has been an excellent stretch coach to work with and is helping me with the mind-body connection.  The whole experience has been very positive.  Great staff and super nice facilities.

Center Your Body Pilates

I am really grateful to have found Center Your Body Pilates, it has been nothing short of transformational. Although I only started in June of this year I already feel lighter, less tension filled and stronger! It's clear the instructors care about you as well as your experience and are equally knowledgeable, supportive and kind. The studio itself is easy to find and non intimidating. I'm inspired to keep going and I would encourage anyone experiencing any sort of physical discomfort to give this a try.

I appreciate that June took the time to explain the changes that happen with aging and how to preventively improve the impact on our body. June was also very encouraging, positive and upbeat. The positive reinforcement was very much appreciated.

I have just started working with June to correct a misalignment in my pelvis and can attest to June's professionalism and knowledge. Her studio is beautiful and she is such a wonderful person and instructor. I would recommend Center Your Body Pilates to anyone seeking a place where they can become their best selves.

I’ve done pilates at a few places and I’d say June is the most encouraging and lovely instructor I’ve had so far! She pays close attention to your body and corrects technique in a very lovely way. She spends most of the hour class telling us that we look great and are doing well, so I often walk out with a sore body, but feeling great about myself! I’ve been going for only a few weeks and have already noticed an improvement in my posture in my day-to-day life, as well as being stronger than when I started! The 30 min free first lesson is so great so you can get a feel for June and if Center Your Body is the place for you.

I went for the first time yesterday to a reformer class and June made me feel right at home. She made the environment safe (for both COVID health and my abilities), educational and I left feeling loved, part of a community and stronger in my body and confidence. I am truly looking forward to my next class and time with June. If you need a space to feel loved, strong and have time for yourself and your body- June's pilates studio is exactly the place to be. - Also my core is FEELING it today! :)

YogaGypsy

In December I spent a month with my family in Elm Springs, Arkansas. Yoga Gypsy was only a few miles away from my family, and I am so grateful that I had the chance to take advantage of their thirty days for thirty dollar trial membership! It was an awesome experience and I would highly recommend it to anyone. As a nomad I have visited many different yoga studios and yoga gypsy is fantastic!

Wonderful yoga studio! I always leave feeling like I got a good workout but also relaxed. The teachers are clear, knowledgeable and super helpful.  I've been practicing for a  few years, but have learned several new poses and greatly improved my practice just in the few months I have been attending YogaGypsy.  The community is so welcoming and friendly.  10/10 reccomend!

I was in Springdale for a week due to work and decided to drop-in to 2 Yoga Gypsy classes. I did both the Power Flow and Revival  Flow classes. Both were good, the Power was more difficult as to be expected.  I was surprised that the instructors did not do the yoga with you. My only complaint is that it was advertised online that a discount would be given to students for $12, but due to COVID I was forced to register online and pay the $15. When I asked about being refunded in person I was rejected. This was simply false advertising and poor customer service in my opinion.

I endured pain in my knee and lower back for 6 years. Arthroscopic surgery finally took care of structural problems. But the pain persisted. After consulting my doctors it dawned on me that the source of my pain was in the ligaments and tendons – the sinews – which were shortened and weakened by six years of hobbling on a busted knee.

One private class with Dee did more to relieve my pain than 6 weeks of physical therapy.

Dee has a gift. She can see what’s happening in your body. She studies you. In each session she opens, lengthens and strengthens the muscles and sinews damaged by injury or neglect. She is patient and gentle. She will take you to the edge of your capacity. And expand it.

I spend an hour with Dee each week.
You should too.

My first time doing yoga in a class setting it was great! I felt very welcomed and comfortable. Will definitely go again soon!

Soulshines Yoga Studio & Healing Arts

This was my first time meeting Amanda and I experimented with Reiki.  It was such a positive experience and as my week has progressed I have noticed changes within myself.  Amanda is so kind, flexible and thorough, she does not make you feel rushed and explains everything in full.  I highly recommend Amanda and will be going back myself.

Amanda is a remarkable therapist with many talents. Her Thai Massage is very healing and invigorating and I thoroughly enjoy them.
I recently had a Sound Bath session with her and beyond being incredibly relaxing I experienced something incredible. I normally don't dream or dream anything that makes sense or memorable. After that Sound Bath I  have had consistent Vivid dreams. Those frequencies are healing and did some profound release work in me. No doubt I will be back

This studio is magic! The bones of the space itself are energetically infused with the magic and beauty of the land. Amanda has so beautifully and gracefully amplified that energy and you can feel it as soon as you step in. It’s warm, welcoming, healing and full of love and honor.

I had the opportunity to receive a Thai Yoga Massage from Amanda. The space she creates is soft and safe. Her technique is beautiful and infused with so much heart and soul, I could feel the stagnant energy being broken up and moved through me with encouragement and loving support. My body was in an immediate state of trust, surrender and release - relaxed. The shifts were immediate and felt days afterward, the healing and balancing taking place was noticeable. This was a delightful investment in self-care, and I’m excited for my next session! ❤️

What a great yoga studio! The art and the energy in the room are amazing. Amanda is a very knowledgeable yoga teacher that makes sure to spend a good amount of time on our breathing and mind exercise rather than just body movement. Whenever I can, I attend her classes. They are always highlight of my week.

She is also a great masseur! Already looking forward to my next massage and yoga flow.

my husband and I took a private yoga class while we were in Manitou Springs o  a a quick  vvacation.  The session was great and we got exactly what we wanted out of the class!  Highly recommend!

D1 Training Littleton SW

D1 Training is a great community, which is what they are!  A group of folks with like interests that help each other get to a common goal!  I enjoy going to D1 as the workouts are already built and you go as hard as you want.  If you’re injured they eagerly adjust to accommodate so you can continue.  It is a non intimidating facility and growing rapidly in the past couple months!  I encourage you to stop in and try out a session, you will be hooked!

We have had an excellent experience having found a place for my 10-year-old son Sebastian to train and interact with other youngsters his age. Sebastian practices flag football at Regis High School and baseball in the Littlenton Thunder League and thanks to that we We were able to meet Preston Sanders, son of the great Superbowl champion Emmanuel Sander's, he is an extraordinary person, very kind and friendly. Talking with Emmanuel, he mentioned finding a training place to improve the performance and abilities of the children to play in a more effective and he mentioned D1 to me since it is very close to my house and it is very convenient and it is not as expensive as other places. Thanks to his advice I have seen that Sebastián is more motivated since it is difficult with him because he was diagnosed with ODD and ADHD by 5-10% and with D1 his attention and moped efficiency is much more manageable for him.  D1 was the best decision we have made for our son and his future.  Infinite thanks to Maggie, the General Manager, and her great team of trainers for her excellent work, since in a short time we have seen a very noticeable improvement.  We 100% recommend D1 as an option for your kids to get them out of video games and get them off the couch.

Great experience and coaching! My daughter is 9, playing up a year against bigger, faster, older kids in competitive soccer almost all year around, and working out at D1 has clearly benefitted her on the field. Her speed and strength have improved, along with an increase in confidence as an added bonus. Plus, we know that playing a competitive sport at a young age, most of the year, can easily lead to burnout. We like bringing her here because she can challenge herself, strengthen her core and joints (which is great for any sport), and best of all, it doesn’t involve a soccer ball.

Absolutely the best training and coaching!!! Sports performance training for all ages! Highly recommend D1 Littleton. My sister and I lost 100 pounds during covid and are back to playing adult competitive sports and this environment and the workouts that are programmed are keeping us ready, agile and excited to keep reaching new goals!!

Can’t even express my heartfelt thanks for Maggie, David and the rest of the team. They took time to listen to my story and what challenges 2022 placed on me. I love the atmosphere of community that D1 provides. Each day presents a new challenge along with variety. I have never liked going to the gym and doing the same circuit day in and day out. D1 involves amazing coaches, and incredible connection with all participants. It’s not about if I can lift more than you or vice versa, each session everyone provides encouragement that helps drive you to challenge yourself from within! Ty D1, right place for me, looking forward to what 2023 brings 💪🔥😄
