Bodhi Pilates

I’ve been doing Pilates since 2007 and reformer Pilates since 2009. No place I previously attended compares to Bodhi Pilates. I was fortunate to find Laura McKaskle when I moved to Colorado eight years ago and I’ve been at Bodhi Pilates since it opened. Over the years it has remained challenging and so much fun. All the instructors are great! The variety of equipment available in the studio is unique. As I’ve gotten older, the strength, coordination, and balance I’ve gained at Bodhi have become an important part of maintaining my wellness.

I started training at Bodhi 4 months ago following a horseback riding accident that left me in a neck brace for 6 weeks. I knew I needed to work back into the flexibility and strength I'd lost in a way that would be safe and help me not re-injure myself. I now do a mix of private lessons and classes each week and have far surpassed the strength I had prior to my injury. The trainers at Bodhi have helped me understand where I'm asymmetrical in my body, and they're helping me achieve greater balance. The work I'm doing at Bodhi is already helping me in the saddle--and in my office chair. The community at Bodhi is all genders, ages, sizes, and capabilities. You will find a welcoming home here to help you achieve your fitness goals.

Love love love Bodhi! Been going 2-3 times a week for about 6 months now! Usually train with Heide, Kennady, Lora, and Ashley. All are absolutely fabulous! I noticed such a difference in my body strength wise and toning wise. I am stronger, toned, and move a lot more than before. We love it so much we managed to get everyone in our family to join! Highly recommend this studio and these teachers!

As an older person, Pilates is a great challenge. The instructors all respect my level of exercise ability and give me the extra advice and instruction I need. I so appreciate this studio. Thanks!

Bodhi Pilates is AMAZING!  If I could give it more stars, I would!  Laura has done a wonderful job creating the best studio with all the best instructors.  Every class is different and challenging...the workouts are never boring!  Laura and her team make a point to get to know every student and what their strengths and weaknesses are to help them improve.  With the small class sizes, the personal attention is spot on.  Bodhi Pilates also has a unique mix of equipment that isn't offered anywhere else.  Thank you Bodhi Pilates - so glad to have found such a wonderful studio for the best workouts around! Every-time I’ve taken a class or workshop at Courageous, I’m always reminded of the amazing community that thrives within its walls. Courageous Yoga is an amazing and accommodating yoga studio for all! I'm still a newbie when it comes to yoga, but Jordan's classes have always made me feel welcome and supported.

During class, Jordan also ensures that we're feeling the intention behind the movements and also providing real time accommodations for the not as flexible! I always leave Jordan’s yoga classes feeling calm and relaxed.

I absolutely love this studio!! I take Contemporary Movement Exploration with TJ on Tuesdays (lifelong dancer here, woot woot!) and All Experiences Vinyasa with Jordan on Sundays. They are both BRILLIANT teachers and just the absolute best human beings. Every time I get to come to class, it's truly the highlight of my week.

Their values of connection, compassion, and courage are truly evident in every faucet of this studio's operations. As students, we're not just taught to embrace the physical movement. We're encouraged to reflect, play, reimagine, challenge, love, and so much more. I'm so grateful to attend classes here!

I can easily and confidently say that Courageous Yoga is the best Yoga studio in Colorado!  Jordan leads with kindness, compassion and so much wisdom.  I had the honor of taking a Yoga Teacher Training here and I cannot recommend it enough! Whether you want to become a teacher, or just want to deepen your practice, this is the place to do so! Jordan’s vinyasa classes are always challenging, but rewarding.  He always offers options allowing accessibility to all bodies.  This is an LGBTQIA friendly and welcoming environment.  I have taken from quite a few of the teachers that Jordan has hired, and they are all well-rounded and bring their own hearts to the space.  They also offer a dance improv class Friday nights with TJ, and it is the perfect place to go and let your heart be free.  12/10 recommend. Please go.

This place is the best!!  The instructors are amazing and the overall ambiance really just helps hone you and make you more in tune with yourself and your body. If you haven't yet made it in, schedule a class now!

Karma Yoga Center

This is a beautiful studio with wonderful classes and inspiring teachers with a wealth of knowledge and experience to learn from. I look forward to every class here. Karma is the absolute best, most authentic studio in Denver, hands down.

Karma Yoga Center is an inviting studio managed by a caring and friendly staff. One instructor worth noting is Beth Sanchez. Beth embodies the best in yoga practice teachings. Her classes combine a well-guided physical component of postures and breathing exercises with more reflective work that collectively lead to not only bodily benefits, but also emotional vigor and mental well-being. Her knowledge of anatomy is splendid. She is wonderful with hands-on adjustments and pose corrections. In addition to her deep commitment to the practice of yoga, Beth is a kind and an accessible person who brings wisdom and humor to her classes. She is a great gift to her students and a precious instructor at Karma Yoga!

Karma Yoga is such a special place. I’ve been attending now for several years and participated in the YTT programs. All the teachers have a great wealth of knowledge and care deeply for their community. If you’re looking to enhance your spiritual practice and develop healthy, loving friendships, this is the place.

Love this studio. They have a great variety of class times I can attend with my work schedule, all the instructors have been lovely and the space is cozy and nicely decorated. I’ve done a few classes here and there but would still consider myself a beginner and the classes have been paced really well for me to be able to keep up, truly all skill levels classes in my opinion. Thank you! ❤️

Anytime Fitness

One of the better Anytimes I’ve been to. Derrick takes really good care of this place. The equipment is new and in great condition. Clean, not too busy, and has everything I need.

If you are looking for a place to better yourself and get help from real professionals, this is the place for you. Ive never been to an Anytime Fitness so needless to say I was a bit hesitant, but I quickly found out that this place is top tier. The gym is always very clean. The owners are very kind, hardworking, engaging, and caring of people as well as their goals.

It's definitely an AF location to visit again. Clean facility, welcoming manager, and updated equipment! The manager, Derrick, even gave me a tour and took some time from cleaning to ask where I was from and offered his help if I had any questions. He was super approachable and held a great conversation that made my workout and the ambiance comfortable. Would definitely be coming back to this location!

I have been going to this particular Anytime Fitness for a couple of years now. The gym is kept clean; I see Derek clean the gym/ bathroom every day. The equipment is kept up with, no ripped up benches and broken machines. For a  gym it's size, it never feels packed.  Derek is a personal trainer who has an extremely upbeat personality and a tremendous love for fitness.

If you are new to the gym scene, I highly recommend this gym. It won't get your anxiety going from 0-1000, maybe only to a 100. Staff is helpful in figuring out your fitness goals and how to achieve them.

Now for the seasoned gym rats..... there is enough here to get a full workout in. You won't get the people setting up tripods/ cameras for 10 mins to just do one set of half squats for their social media.

Been coming here for a year now. I’m down about 45 pounds and love the way I look and feel. During the summer I took training classes with Derek. Great instructor, always pushed me to my limits and above. Would definitely recommend to any who wants to improve themselves!

Allumen Yoga

This is such a great neighborhood spot brimming with community and tranquility. My instructor Maddy was incredibly knowledgeable and led an amazing flow that totally helped me to relax and stretch. Highly recommend this studio!

This studio is so beautiful, and the staff is immensely welcoming and kind. I took a hot yoga class with Stephan and did the full moon monthly ceremony with the owner Maddie. Both are knowledgeable teachers. Queer friendly. I can't wait to come back!

This is my first hot yoga studio experience and it is a beautiful and clean studio. I have taken classes with almost all the instructors and they have great classes for all levels. It is a very welcoming and friendly place. They also have a variety of memberships/class packs and fun events. If you are thinking about trying hot yoga and are in the area, I highly recommend it!

I took my first power class here taught by Emily and it was incredible!! Just what I needed- Hot, challenging, great music, fun. Highly recommend taking a class by Emily!

I had the privilege of discovering Allumen yoga after moving to the RiNo area. It is such a fun and inviting place to practice yoga! The studio is spacious and clean. There is always room for me to take up some space regardless of when I show up to class (which was not always the case at my previous studio and a huge source of anxiety for me at one point in my yoga journey lol).

One of my favorite parts of practicing here is the emphasis on the meditative aspects of yoga. Class starts and ends with a good long shavasana. I have learned so much about the power of stillness and mindfulness since getting started here.

Another one of the things that makes Allumen so special is the instructors! I could call each one out by their unique and intentional flows / approach to teaching, but then this review would be super long and you probably wouldn’t read all of it, but believe me they are all amazing yoga instructors and people!!!

I am so incredibly grateful to be able to practice yoga here, I cannot recommend it strongly enough if you are looking for a place to grow your love for yoga,
mindfulness and just simply existing!

Yoga Box

I am so obsessed with Yoga Box. I take all types offered (Power, Sculpt, and Restore) and have never have anything but an amazing experience. The teachers are so good at what they do, and I use this as my primary workout now and have never been leaner in my life. So glad I'm part of the community and excited to hit 100 classes soon! :)

I have taken 2 classes so far and both have been great. The instructors incorporate a lot of calming tid bits about life as you’re going through the movements and remind you to bring yourself back to the present moment if  your mind starts to wonder. It is definitely a great place to practice self care and learning to give yourself grace. Love the heated studio too!

Sarah's classes were both amazing. I took power flow first. It pushed me physically to my limit. She was encouraging the class through the tough it all. The restore class was a great way to wind down and go inward after the intensity. I'll be back for sure!

Only been to one instructor, Jess, but her 60 minute vinyasa class is really excellent! Highly polished and clearly v experienced instructor. Lovely flow, mix of challenge and restoration, and great postural guidance throughout - with options for different levels. The space is conveniently located and very functional. Everything is dialed in. First 3 classes free - that’s a great deal and the monthly rate is comparable to other studios.

I look forward to every Monday because of Jessica’s recovery restore classes - one of my favorite instructors in Denver! Yoga Box has a great vibe in general. I love the ambiance lighting in the studio and free parking right outside!

Summit Strong

I've been going to Summit Strong for about 3 years now, it's been my favorite gym! They have great equipment, knowledgeable and friendly staff members, and a wonderful community. Currently I'm working with the trainer, Nate, to help me get ready for my upcoming rugby season. Nate is communicative and easy to get ahold of, and the plan he made me is detailed and truly tailored to my personal goals, and considerate of my past injuries and experience with athletics. It's great to work with a trainer who is also an intensely competitive athlete, I feel that he pushes me as hard as he would himself.

This gym feels like my home away from home. I absolutely love training here! The Equipment is amazing in the gym, and very tailor to people who want to train in unique ways.  The "gym culture" is like none other ive ever seen. Everyone is so welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable. I have been lifting weights most of my life, and I get creative ideas from the trainers and other members every week. The gym has an outstanding range of trainers to choose from as well! There is a trainer for you at Summit Strong weather or not you're a gym veteran, or are new to the gym. Recently, I starting Boxing with the one of the trainers Nate Cortez. He is the best boxing coach I have ever had. His eye to detail in how to move your body is so helpful. My favorite part of training with Nate is how quickly and easily he can change a drill to make sure that I am understanding the fundamental movements that I need to learn. I highly recommend trying to this gym out!

Great gym overall. Clean space with great equipment variety for a more athletic style of training. Mostly free weights, squat racks and cables, with boxing area, turf and some cardio equipment. It's been a perfect space for me to train as a hockey player.

Like others on here, I prepaid for a year membership and never renewed when my year was up. Summit Strong took it upon themselves to start charging me on a monthly basis after my prepaid month was over. There was not a single communication about signing up for another prepaid year or a change to a month to month plan, so I never authorized continued billing. Extremely shady business practices, especially for a small, local gym. I spoke with an employee named Mason trying to charge me for yet another month to cancel my membership. He told me to email the owner Todd to try and get fix the situation. I have emailed twice with no response.

Great vibe. Super kind peeps who welcomed me in to their space to do my thing in a judgment free atmosphere. The equipment selection was what I want without a lot of the unnecessary frills. Definitely going back any time I am in Denver.

Dulce body bar is amazing! Adrianna and Reyna are fun, professional and skilled in the industry and I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my body treatments. I did the leg treatment to get rid of cellulite, and saw results immediately, after one session.

Adriana and Reyna are the best at what they do. They really listen to your needs and goals and with there magic results are guaranteed. Always a good vibe, great atmosphere and the ladies keep it very professional. Stop in and check them out you will not be disappointed.

Dulcé Body Bar is an experience in itself. Both Reyna & Adriana are extremely  welcoming.  I feel like everyone who walks through their doors soon becomes family. They're both very attentive with their clients & I believe they get their clients results because they're passionate about what they do. It's always a party at Dulcé, now who doesn't want to be a part of that? Thank you ladies for being who you are!!

Darek and Paige are the new owners of this place and wow does it look good! I am just visiting some old friends here in town and stopped by to use the gym and really enjoy the friendly and open atmosphere they promote. I would definitely recommend this to anyone local, especially if you're looking for an accepting and inviting gym. I'll be returning when I'm back in town for sure! Keep it up you two!

I've been a steadfast member of here for years, always timely with my payments. Yet, when a change in my debit card prompted me to update my billing details, a seemingly straightforward task became an ordeal due to the consistent absence of the gym's owner.
Despite my many attempts, both in-person and over the phone, and reassurances from other staff, the issue remained unresolved. Now, I find myself locked outside the gym. I've reached out using all three contact numbers available to me, but to no avail.
The frustration is not about a lack of funds or willingness on my part, but rather a breakdown in communication from the gym's side. Being penalized with a lockout, despite proactive efforts on my end, is disheartening to say the least.

If I could give zero stars I would. I worked at anytime fitness for 5 years. I moved to Colorado and started going to this location. The original owner was very nice and kept the gym up. The new owner Carl, has made this gym an unpleasant location. The bathrooms are not up to par, there is limited equipment and classes. My main issue is I received a voicemail from him stating he cancelled my membership because I Had complimentary status due to the owners of anytime fitness allowing me to have a complimentary membership. He cancelled it without notice or contacting the location I worked at. He then told me I don’t pay and does not want me there. Very unprofessional attitude on the phone. My wife then cancelled so we can work out together elsewhere. Her contract is up this month but he still tried to milk every last penny and charged us for next year. Owner is greedy and probably shouldn’t own a gym. I am taking my fitness elsewhere more affordable and moe amenities. Sad because I was very loyal to anytime fitness for years and did a lot for the company. Oh well.

This gym is the best, they have everything you need. It’s so close to our house so the location is perfect. Darek and his wife, Dr. Butler are so nice and enthusiastic, we love them and their puppy Emmy. We were going to another gym but left THERE because of the mask obsessed lunatics. But here, no one bothers you, and everyone for the most part, minds their own business.😊 My husband and I love this gym and can’t see ever going anywhere else. Location and price are perfect! Open 24 hours, What else can you ask for?? I recommend this gym to everyone.

Update: owners are amazing especially during this pandemic. They worked with me and helped me out while we go through these uncertain times. If you need somewhere to work out where you can trust the management and those running the gym, this is the place to go!

New owners are great. They’re friendly and always keep the gym squeaky clean and stocked with complimentary coffee and snacks.

Denver Gym & Fitness

I’ve been going to Denver Gym and Fitness for a few years and I love how clean and the size so much. This year before our wedding we did their hybrid personal training with Stephanie and it was absolutely incredible to challenge ourselves and switch up our gym routine! Steph is the best trainer you could ask for! Thanks for kicking our butts

I’ve really enjoyed being a member of Denver Gym and Fitness and part of Stephanie’s group personal training classes at the gym. I was feeling a bit unmotivated and bored with my routine and joining the group training made me fall back in love with working out. Steph is an amazing trainer and makes the program fun and challenging. My form, strength, and endurance has improved so much since working with her. It’s also great to have a community at the gym that you can work towards your goals and stay motivated with. Thanks Steph and DG&F!

Kelly at the front of the house was great she showed me around, also private shower rooms and bathrooms, definitely a class act.

I cannot recommend DG&F highly enough - and Stephanie in particular!  I've been doing 1:1 personal training with her for a month now and she's just made it so enjoyable, accessible and approachable (this is my first ever time doing this).   I honestly couldn't have hoped for a better trainer - she explains things simply and creatively so it feels really easy to "get" and clearly cares so much about her work and her clients - I couldn't feel in better hands. The gym itself is great and makes you feel at home (vs big, chain gyms) - everyone is friendly and there to support you (or you can do your own thing!) A huge thank-you to the team at DG&F - you've made it easy for me to hit the ground running with no previous strength-training experience!

Love this gym. Very clean and not overly crowded to where you’re waiting for a machine. There’s something here for everyone. Would recommend this gym.
