I bought my cell phone (prepaid) with an excellent discount, as Colombian taxes are not charged in the city of Letícia.

You have to wait more than an hour to be attended to, the delay is absurd, there should be more officials in addition to the signal being horrible in Leticia, there are "black holes" in Leticia in which we don't even dream of having a signal from this operator...

It's a shame that the same community has a place that could be very pleasant for tourists so dirty.

Prince Kuhio Plaza

It’s a huge mall with lots of stores, kiosks and food venues.  Pretty standard stores.  Very clean and bright.  And it’s a great spot to spend some time out of the rain.  ( Hilo’s has a lot of rain). There’s lots of free parking and you can’t miss it because it’s right off one of major roads leading into Hilo.

Comfortable seating, great pic to the and sound, tasty popcorn, great experience overall. I do wish they'd give us the option to have them layer our butter themselves. They only have the self-service butter dispenser. Not enough to deduct a star but something I think about every time I see a movie.
Can't wait to go back!

If you are looking for a shopping mall or center in Hilo, you may want to visit this Prince Kuhio Plaza. They hold several restaurants and various stores in the plaza. They provide enough parking spaces. Many local also love to visit this place since there are also family entertainment places such as cinema and game-arcade. Also they have an event place on the center of the plaza, and you could experience some local events.

Ha .. first time I have ever seen lashes in a vending machine!! Loved the comics store!!

Went to the DMV there and had a great experience. Not sure what the negative reviews are about. I wasn't having the easiest time getting a title transferred over to me but they were very helpful, professional and patient. Ultimately helping me with my problem. Mahalo

Love the flower shop, KTA, Jaded Palace....great place to shop....and, of course, Sandwich Isle Bakery

Market can be cold but a great place for local produce as they buy direct from local sources for alot of it. Butcher also available for cutting request cuts, including Big Island Beef. Best selection of international foods including Hispanic ingredients. New light and some improvements the last couple years. Feels like a local run market than the more polished competitor across the street.

Great local grocery store.  It is worth the drive from the major resorts to get food for the week.   The ready-made island dishes and desserts are fantastic.

Azeka Shopping Center

We were fortunate to visit this center on the last Friday of the month....and we were in for a treat. Food trucks of almost every cuisine , dances, music,  local arts, fundraising for Pacific whales, schools, etc. We loved Kailua quesadilla, coconut shrimp and coconut fish sandwich.

Best place in it is the restaurant called Coconuts Fish Cafe! Great service, amazing fish tacos, highly recommend

Miso Phat is Da Bomb! Dynamite and Rockin' Rolls were mind-blowing.  Ahi poke was delicious as well. Customer Service was incredible, and the Aloha spirit of joy and grace could be felt in this quaint restaurant

Safeway is popular BUT a gallon of milk cost me $9.99+tax=OUCH!

Lahaina Cannery Mall

4 stars for potential and the cool free museum.

Currently (June 2023), the mall is in the process of installing a food court, where they are going to have a "food truck" concept indoors. Sounds really exciting, and will definitely bring more foot traffic.

The mall itself has a very cool industrial-meets-modern architectural vibe. You see the historic bones of the original cannery, but also see the additions of modern elements, like glass windows on the ceiling and lots of natural light.

There are currently many tourist-driven retail venues inside the mall space. They are designed for tourists to get souvenirs. I bought a couple of affordable tchotckes, like a Christmas ornament from Crazy Shirts.

The main star of the mall (at this moment) is the free museum. I spent quite a bit of time in there soaking in the history and admiring the mini-exhibits, artifacts, and photographs. I love history and imagining the life of previous generations, especially since my kids' great-great grandparents worked the plantations on Maui and have history here. This small museum packed a punch, and I felt pulled into the past century very vividly.

Lots of clothing stores and access to Safeway and Starbucks. Most people don’t realize there are many more stores in the mall beyond those.

The restrooms are surprisingly clean and fancy for how run down, empty, and generally sad looking the rest of the mall is. Seriously, the restrooms are the best part of this place. The rest of the stores are about 90% clothing shops with the addition of Starbucks and ABC Stores (both of which you can find anywhere on Maui). If you're looking to kill 20 minutes, you can do a quick meander of the halls, but don't plan on staying long or having a meal. There's only 2 choices in the food court. Overall, I didn't have a positive experience here.

Coconut Grove Marketplace

If I could give them a zero, I would. The parking lot has now turned into a paid parking lot. I can see charging tourists but locals? Come on. Absolutely disgusting. Also, to register they ask for personal info like your birthday. Why is that needed. Why not just ask for license plate, DL # & name. Why do you need all this unnecessary information. I see now there is A LOT of open stalls in area since they decided to charge people to park.

I have spent quite a bit of time here over the course of several years. Great place with a lot of different options for stuff. A real treat to just walk around and see what there is too see. A strong reccomendation from me for what that is worth.

Plenty of shops and restaurants but not parking lot. A pain in the butt for parking in here. Also, the homeless people are rampant in the area.

People do play volleyball in here and sunset watching which is pretty good. Spending at least 3hours in here a day is enough. I can’t stand staying whole day here.

Rip off alert!! Very disappointed that Coconut Grove is now charging for parking. The parking is very expensive. $12 per hour. It’s mind blowing when you are already spending a good deal of money to eat there or shop there. Now they are charging high parking. I understand if you’re not going to buy anything or eat. But if you are spending money the businesses should validate parking.

Basically a restaurant plaza more than anything.  There are a few other kinds of shops there.  There are a lot of places to eat in Kona with several to choose from there.  Street parking can be hard to find but there are several paid parking lots around.  The lots use a web based system to pay.  It can be tricky to get to work.  Be ready to input lots of personal info the first time you use it.
