Go somewhere else for your holiday photos with Santa. Unfortunately, the woman conducting the line at the Santa pictures sucked the holiday joy right out of the air.
Originally, my family and I had purchased a reservation at the Galleria to get our pictures taken. However, when we arrived, the Santa was African American. The galleria told us to go to the Frontenac as they would honor our reservation and use the same system. When we arrived, I said nothing about the other Santa, just simply that they told us we could come here to Frontenac instead. The woman started speaking to me very loudly at us, waiving her arms, and accusing me that the reason we were here is that I didn’t want the ‘diversity Santa’ - I calmly spoke back to her and said that we just want our picture taken. Had I not been persistent, she wouldn’t have let us through. Once we finally reached the top of the line, she whispered in the photo takers ear and the whole experience was quite uncomfortable and extremely racist. This woman should absolutely be dealt with.

Went to Brio. Food was very good. Service was terribly inadequate.  We were on the patio and the two bartenders had to also take care of our table. Why, who knows. There were servers outside attending to other tables.  It seemed vety disorganized.  I know help, especially good help, is hard to find these days. The bartenders did the very best that they could and they were so polite and apologized for the problems. Also, they were out of coffee at 830pm so they made espresso drinks work for us. I will go back again as the food was very good, the bartenders were very nice and worked hard, but the service needs help.

Decent for high end shopping, my mom and I went into Neiman Marcus and I guess because we didn't look ritzy were treated poorly. Until we went over to buy a $6,000.00 dress.

Karmel Mall

Somali Mall, that my friend who is Somalian told me to go here. It's overwhelming all of the different things to buy. They also offer public services to assist the community such as barber shops, henna tattoo art, creams and essential oils and scents. They even have some restaurants that allow you to eat of the culture and order special cuisine. I was impressed that they even have money market and currency businesses. Almost a one stop shop! Interesting location full of culture and beautiful merchandise.  The textiles are immaculate.  Enjoy every visit.

There's a street that runs from a lake street that heads north for about 3 of 4 blocks that is a little piece of Somalia and it's a hidden gem for an experience in the twin cities. The streets are busy with our Somalian community members and they are amazing, kind, and beautiful people. I definitely recommend hitting up the ice cream shop on this block or grab some takeout and have lunch at an open table in this part of town. Always welcoming and fun vybes from little Somalia on lake and pleasant. Check it out😸

Somali Karmel Mall: A Diverse and Welcoming Five-Star Haven!

Somali Karmel Mall is an incredible destination that embraces diversity, making it a friendly place for families to enjoy. The employees exemplify kindness and provide exceptional service. From the vibrant shops to the delicious food options, it offers something for everyone. A true gem that showcases the rich cultural tapestry of Somali heritage. A definite five-star experience where warmth and diversity unite in harmony.

The mall has potential but is not up to standards of competing malls in the area. It doesn’t have much regulation or order and is a free for all. The fact that the owner “sabri” is very incompetent,unhelpful, and takes advantage of his tenants doesn’t help these conditions either. I wish we could see the mall undergo serious interior repairs.

My sister got a chemial burn from Sisters Henna.  They would not refund her & were very unprofessional when she went to complain she them her burn marks.  My sisters skin was bubbling & oozing from the altered henna that was used on her skin. Do not get HENNA done at this mall.  It is not safe

24 Somali Mall

I stayed less than 15 minutes and I paid $2… it’s ridiculous. Customers should always be respected!

24 mall It's a big place and alot of places that you can pick from... the parking price for 5 minutes or less is $2 and Parking on the street .50 cents for 15 minutes.. but remember the city street is always enforced by traffic control patrol... walking distance by the city bus less thn 3 minutes  BUS 5m or 5e. Alot of restaurants and alot of shops that sale cultural items.

They have bad hair cuts and bad food horrible sanitation, and ugly people

I was floored by how Beautiful the city's in cities building looks So Gorgeous and how much detail was put Into the luxury of the layout of the buildings Interior the store's has such A way of making you feel like you are A part of A real WORKING LOOP ORIENTATION OF LIFE YOU HAVE TO LET YOU'RE SELF CONSCIOUS EMERGE INTO THE SCENERY OF ARTISTRY AROUND YOU'RE BEING FROM somewhere else or even being from The City's you will appreciate your eyes view of Tru BEAUTIE Trust Me

Apparently there must be a new concept in mall design because all I saw was a bunch of big empty spaces and almost no humans. Maybe this is what Mpls. has in mind to house the huge homeless population, the same ones who they keep displacing when they raid the little shanty towns that seem to pop up overr&

I'm blanking so to keep it real, I will revisit and give us  readers of these things an honest review with pictures 😉

Shadow of it's former self would give it 3 stars, maybe 4 if I was grading on a curve. Us few locals who haven't FLED before the riots even happened refer to downtown as "don't bother" for well over five years now.

Great store options but the people that shop here are uppity. They also looked at and treated me and a friend, who is also African American, like we didn't belong there.

City Center

Safest place in downtown Minneapolis! Most food selections under one roof! 6 skyway and dedicated parking ramp. Valet service available.

My employer,  Fogo de Châo, is in this building so I get to walk through here many times each week.  The building is more impressive on the interior as compared to the exterior.  I like to sit on the ledge under the escalators sometimes,  before it after a shift. It's a warm, peaceful little spot in the heart ❤️  of the city and I'm very grateful 🙏 for its presence.

The city center of Minneapolis is pretty dynamic. There is so much cultural diversity in this city and it's a wonderful.nicollet Mall road has been completely remade for only buses so it's pedestrian and biker friendly and it's amazing.the sad thing is is I still see so many homeless people using drugs. I wish there was some way I could help them as I was a former addict myself. That little bit aside, I love Minneapolis it's an absolutely wonderful, diverse and beautiful city

First time visiting Minneapolis. The sections of the city we visited seemed very clean and organized. Plenty of cultural things to do with restaurants, stores and parks. Seems easy to navigate and the parking seems a little cheaper than many other cities that we have visited.

Next to parking ramp. Clean. Not cheap. But very good food. Nice experience. Difficult to get through in a wheelchair as tables are close. Great experience

Convenient print and go service. The only reason for 4 stars instead of five is that there were no supplies such as paper clips and clamps at any of the stations.

Original Pancake is great.  Had my usual the Dutch Baby Pancake, it was delicious as always

Loads of nice shops but be patient with parking!

If you haven't eat here for breakfast or lunch or brunch, at "Original House of Pancake" you didn't get the Missourian taste of pancake. For price $$$. but you get good service. Don't forget to give the waitress tips.

Okay...I had the Bacon & Eggs Breakfast: Three thick sliced Bacon, Two large fresh Eggs, and 3 Cinnomon Bun Pancakes with added Pecans!! 😲 OMG!! I didn't realize how good this was going to be!! #ANewLove!! 💋💯 You're gonna want more...💕...

Saint Louis Galleria

Pretty mall. Definitely a place for those people to shop who have well paying jobs. I'll stick to the working class malls.

On the other hand, they had this circus next door and by chance I saw it on my way to buy cheesecake. It was pretty awesome! I love horror stuff, though so I enjoyed it!

Went to build a bear specifically but walked around the Galleria. Beautiful mall ! High-end stores, food courts, movie theaters, and restaurants, the one I remember for sure, is Cheesecake Factory. This mall is so huge we only saw a portion of it!

Still a nice mall..... but just another great place being ruined by the woke. It used to be so amazingly decorated for Christmas.  Now only in one spot where you can visit Santa. This is still the United States of America.  Please act like it. That said.... love to all. But as I said... this is the USA. come here.... but respect it.

It is a huge indoor shopping mall, and there is an Apple store, so you can buy and repair products.

Looks great mall. Have many and great retail stores and restaurants
The weirdest thing I ever saw is it closes as early as 7PM.

Flower Valley Shopping Center

A nice shopping center with multiple stores, restaurants and an auto service center. Plenty of parking! Easy access in and out of the shopping center! Has about anything you need located in one spot! Highly recommend shopping and/ or eating here!

Extremely large store for anything you need for your hair. Very organized store.

They really need to find tenants for this empty space where Kmart was. A grocery store such as Trader Joe's or Fresh Tyme would be perfect!

I stopped in at the restaurant for Chinese food and got rice and wings because I didn't feel like cooking everything, but wanted to chop veggies and stir fry them in the wok, and get lots of onions mixed miniature colorful peppers and sliced carrots and broccoli, lightly seasoned cooked up and smelling great in my kitchen. Now the rice, topped with the vegetable combo and the wings made for a decent dinner that didn't suggest that I didn't feel like cooking as much as it shows that I like to eat a balanced meal. The rice was a great time saver.

If you've been here then you already know. If you haven't don't bother.

Kennedy Mall

The sports memorabilia shop in the center is a ripoff. Nothing is priced. Guy says he will give you a “discount”. I paid $55 for a cup said he would give me “$50”. You can buy these cups online for  $30 dollars. Extremely Unethical. Also it’s posted at the register “no refunds or exchange.” There is absolutely nothing professional about this business whatsoever. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME.

We are from out of town and we stopped by the mall today at 8:00 p.m. to check out a few of the stores. As you can see in the pictures several of the stores were already closed and the lights were shut off when we arrived. I asked the gentleman at one of the T-shirt stands what time the mall closed and he said it was 9:00 and I said well why are all the stores closed and he said it's they weren't busy. The mall has potential but it was disappointing that all the stores were closed.

This should not be considered a mall. Mostly all the stores are always closed. When I first move closer to Dubuque Iowa. I thought this mall was gonna be a great experience moving forward. It seems like after COVID  This mall was not able to bounce back on its feet. With this being the only mall in the city you think everybody would be here? But when you're lacking employees and stores being closed, this is the problem you run into. Hope they get it together because I really did like this mall. Oh, and they don't have a food court either.

Beautiful mall. Clean, every store front was full. Impressive. It's been years since I visited the mall. A very pleasant experience.

The mall is fairly accessible with lots of entrances and a simple layout. The parking lot is large, but it needs better signage and directional marking to ensure proper travel.
