Crossroads Mall

Stopped by on a Saturday afternoon and was saddened by the condition of the mall.   They have no anchor stores...Younkers, Sears, Gordmans, Dillard's are all empty.  (At Home is currently using the bottom level of the old Younkers) location.
The corridors are near empty.  Both upper and lower Dillard's corridors have no open retail.
The mall directory has not been updated for years still showing stores that have closed.
While this was once a smaller mall you can see the potential it once had.
Not sure how much longer it will able to survive...

By Waterloo standards, for years, this mall was EVERYTHING!! I understand alot of ppl shop online now and COVID may have helped push alot of the stores out the door, but I just don't get what happened. There is TONS of money in this city and surrounding areas that could be spent in that mall, but  we take it elsewhere because we have no choice. Mall management isnt even transparent with what happened and why they havent replaced any of the stores. There are literally only two real places to shop, and if you dont need shoes or body products then your SOL.

I didn’t even grow up here but am extremely extremely saddened by the gradual closure. I’ve been here 10 years and loved this mall. True not like north park mall in Davenport. This mall had a personality and had style. I’m pretty devastated at it’s current state. All over stores are closing due to high rents. It’s a huge problem not just in waterloo.

So me and my woman were walking the lot looking for someone's dog that was spotted there and one of the workers in a red truck came flying up and nearly hit us and then he was extremely rude and said we had to leave cause its private property. He got an attitude for no reason. I feel very disrespected and will never be coming back to this mall. I would not recommend as the workers are very rude.

In middle/high school this was the spot to hang after school and weekends! Sadly that's not the case anymore....stores have left and nothing is taking their place! They have a sweet arcade in there now, a train and pretty nice play area for the kids! You can still get what you came for from.the selection of stores, just used to be a lot better!

Hidden Valley Plaza

The plaza itself is great, but parking is terrible. Restaurants, clothing stores, a fitness center, all there, but parking is an absolute nightmare..

Rude girl won't go ever again food is awful

Consider location and area first, but had dinner at Ichiban hibachi restaurant and the parking lot could stand repaving like most others in this area. Looks like an old grungy strip mall that has not reinvested in any upkeep or update. Inside they keep the lights very dim. Too dim, makes me wonder what they try to hide? The staff is friendly and somewhat diverse. The food was good to average for hibachi. Service was unexpectedly fast. Would not really call it family friendly but there were families with children.

We went to the Japanese restaurant. I cannot recall the name but it's the only one in the plaza. The prices were really great! My girl for sushi, a meal, and desert. I got a meal, a beer 🍻, and a mixed drink and it was still only like $50. 😮 Two thumbs up. 👍👍 Oh yeah, and the food was great.

Uranus Missouri Towne Center

Free Entry. Family Friendly. Sideshow is a must see! Even if you do not want to purchase anything, you will have a very entertaining time. Please, read the signs!!! Fabulous comedy!!

Great variety of candies. Fudge is a must. Salt water taffy is c awesome.  Fun stop for road trip sugar junkies.

a chance and totally insane encounter with the third kind. we bought sweets and souvenirs. I found it totally funny and funny. I would like to come by again. all employees were friendly and in a good mood

Amazing place. A must stop shop. Spent a little over $100 for 5 shirts for every member of the family got some fudge, and had so many laughs. Could have spent many more hours here but we had the dogs so hopefully next time they will have an in door place for dogs, but maybe they do and we just didn't know they did. We even have their paper and brought it home and framed it. We will definitely be going back soon to explore more.

Really cool place! They don't just have fudge! It's a neat General Store! They have all kinds of Old Time Candy and Old Time toys and t-shirts and wine all kinds of stuff! The whole Plaza was full of really interesting stuff that we would have loved to have been able to stay and check everything out but the Fudge Factory was all we had time for. Lots of choices of flavors for fudge.

Coral Ridge Mall

I have been coming here my entire life. This mall is well kept and has so much to do. They are constantly getting new stores and attractions. Food court is excellent with plenty of options. Movie theater and kids museum is great also.

Update: we came back through and had another positive experience, the only issue this time was one of bathroom stalls was very broken. Will remove last picture if fix is confirmed by staff.

Always enjoy shopping here. Or eating here. Or just hanging out at the movie theater or ice rink. They have a tremendous food court. They even have a merry-go-round! Plenty of free parking everywhere.  So many opportunities.  A children's museum is here too. Great food. Great location.  Great stores. Awesome people that work there; there's a tree running through a store there! A place for your kids to run off some energy too. Clothes, shoes, department stores, electronics,  toys, jewelry anything you may want is waiting for you at Coral ridge mall. Come early and stay late. Always something to do and see here.  In my opinion this place is best.

My kids (2 and 4) love the mall! The mall is vibrant and full of people - it reminds me of an putting to the mall in the early 90s.

There are lots of shops - the Barnes and Noble here is awesome. Other notables include Target and Scheels and lots of small shops. Magic Mushroom is a fun pizza shop next to the carousel in the atrium area.

The mall also has an ice rink, movie theatre, carousel (!), childrens museum, and a large atrium area with lots of shops.

Friendly people for the most part, clean, lots of parking, lots for kids to do between the Children's Museum, the carousel, the ice skating rink, the movie theater, etc. We were visiting Build-A-Bear for my granddaughter's 3rd birthday. We drove up from Cedar Rapids. All in all, a good experience.

Westdale Town Center

Always stocking new arrivals, bathrooms are clean.  Like most stores, always have help wanted.  Staff always friendly & helpful.  Often lines at checkout, due to lack of staff.  Good values, check expiration dates & quality.

Napoli's is the restaurant I went to.Just opened. Great food. Superb service.I highly recommend this place!!!.....

Up and coming area. Looking forward to the new restaurants. I just hope they last in this location.

It's a good place to get in and get out. Some malls are just too big, too crowded & congested. This has what you need, without the crazy parking situation. I think the stores also have a smaller feel to them, so they are more intimate. The sales people want to give you the right advice so that you come back, which to me is not always the case in super sized malls.

This is a great local shopping center that is convenient and affordable for you and your family and your friends. They have a Tommy's car wash, shoe dept, ross store, petco, caribou coffee, there is soo much here to offer you. There is a bisiness in there thats can sell you a good sound system for your home and car

Lantern Park Plaza

This was the 2nd time I've been in the store in about 6 months.  I walked out each time with nothing.  Very disappointed in their recent inventory

Lots of businesses to choose from huge parking lot so there's always room to park. Craft store, eye glasses, food, a couple of restaurants,a laundry mat,gas station and more.

Employees helped to find purchases. All employees busy stocking and organizing.

I'm giving the entire Lantern Park Plaza a good review, but mostly because of the Hy-Vee store located there. It's one of the bigger stores with a lot of variety and services. They have a larger bakery area than other Hy-Vee stores. In the parking area, there are some high-speed car charging stations for Tesla vehicles, but maybe in the future other electric charging stations will be added. A drawback to this area is that the parking is usually crowded and sometimes difficult to navigate with some two-way and other one-way areas. Near the small Hy-Vee gas station and convenience store, the traffic flow can be congested.

My wife always loved Hobby Lobby!! She loved to shop for the eclectic items that have, and we both love the fact that they are owned by Christians!!

Old Capitol Town Center

Such a cozy shopping mall. Nice options for places to grab a quick bite. The CVS is always stocked full of things you didn't know you need or want until you see them 😉 and T-Spoon's is an adorable, quaint little coffee/tea shop that offers goodies, sandwiches, and muffins for something to enjoy along your route.

Situated at the core of the University of Iowa, houses so many restaurants and offices, A central landmark by downtown interchange.

Lots of cool places. It is a college town, so I was able to find my Iowa gear!

Great stores they have in here, especially Asia+ cause they have some things you can't find in other stores.

Great little spot in downtown Iowa City. It is a very busy place much more of a college multi-use than it is a shopping mall these days. But the mall stores that are there are very unique and an enjoyable spot

Lindale Mall

honestly a very fun mall to go to. its a bit on the smaller side, but every single store is open and there's plenty of people around. they even have activities to do there, and several sit down restaurants. you can find a little bit of everything here, from clothing stores, to gaming, to smashing plates with bats. its also very clean and well taken care of, just a great place to burn 2-3 hours.

I actually left this mall feeling depressed.  My wife put it perfectly: this mall is where dreams go to die.  The entire place looks like it hasn't advanced at all since the 1980s: tired storefronts, passe gimicks like massage chairs and bubble-gum-machine congolmerates.  Many of the spaces were empty, and most people wandering aimlessly through the uninspired building looked bored, and certainly didn't look like they were there to spend money.  It was just depressing.  That said, others who have reviewed the mall seemed to like it, so perhaps it's just a matter of personal taste.

It was not a good idea putting a mall within reach of the state freeway as it complicates the traffic when you're dropping people off at the mall, and you have to go to Guitar center for example. You have to drive there. It would be a different story if you could walk to those destinations, but the fact that the mall sits within Highway 100 and 1st Ave NE makes it very difficult to travel from store to store.

I do not take for granted having a mall nearby. I like seeing the quality of items before purchasing them. Clothing online is such a hassle especially when you have never tried that particular brand before.
Lindale started as an open air mall and Von Maur use to be Peterson Harned Von Maur.
Some of the stores include: Holley’s Shop for men, GameStop, Foot Locker, Finish Line, Effie Bauer, Claire’s, Buckle, Maurices, Bath & Body works, American Eagle Outfitters, Bohemia’s, CJ’s banks, Carter’s, Francesca’s, Justice, Famous Footwear, Express Factory, Victoria’s Secret and many more.
It has a play area for younger children called Wellville and
Lindale even has a game area next to Hu Hot with bean bag toss and to complete the setting- Adirondack chairs!
They have places to eat and businesses such as cell phone retailers and my favorite place to buy glasses and have my eyes examined- Lens Crafters.

A lot of people, walk a lot, found the stores we wanted, and were even able to grab a bite to eat & get a drink along with a 🥨 snack.

Westland Mall

The staff in Rue 21 was very sweet, helpful, and accommodating. They didn't even mind 3 of my kids running around and playing. The mall is definitely run down from what it was when I was younger and pretty empty, but what is there, is good!

This mall is dying....... The only reason I have it rated 3 stars is because it still has some good stuff in it. Like Iowa works,the movie theater dmv,show carnival

Was there for walk to end alzheimer's.  Wish they would make the anchor stores housing for elderly, a care place with nurses. Put in a dollar tree,  dollar general,  cheap eatery and cheap clothing and toys. So they can shop.

Nice little mall, when i was there, there was not a lot of people in it. Plenty of parking and if needed lot of disability parking places. It has ramps to be wheelchair accessible. Over it ok.

It's a great mall with potential. Always clean and the few shops within are good too. It just sucks that it closes so early. Additionally, bringing in more places to shop and eat along with extending operating hours would bring back the appeal. People want to be able to spend time in a third space and with so few of those around, this mall is one of the only places left to do that here. Despite the ease of online shopping, so many still frequent brick and mortar stores for what they can. Variety and appeal would do so well here. Give people a reason to want to shop and stay awhile. Another summer is approaching too- what about having a place for the youth to congregate? The arcade closes when the mall does,so there's some lost revenue there. The lack of shops that appeal to the youth is also a loss to what their and their parents pockets would provide too. This mall could be so much for the businesses and community if it was truly invested into.

The Meadows at Lake Saint Louis

Pretty outdoor mall with many choices in shops. I especially love that they have small businesses in the mix, although I'd love to see more! My kids and I also love little bits gym. Such a fun hidden gem amongst the stores and restaurants. There is a parking garage on site and access to public restrooms. Parking is a little tricky around the loops but there are large parking lots available as well. On Saturdays they host a farmer and artist Market that is really great. They also host morning yoga and other events during the week that look really fun.

It'd be a way better shopping experience if all the available business spaces are filled with businesses.  Only large chain stores. Maybe they should lower their rent so smaller local businesses can open up in there

I just love the Meadows! What a neat local area in our neighborhood! Lots of fun stores and local businesses! A couple of wonderful restaurants! They have fun events that go on! In the warm season they have a farmers market every Saturday morning 8 to 12. They have outdoor concerts on some Thursday evenings from 6 to 8! I love that I can go to Facebook and find more information on what's happening! Great job!

A lovely place to shop! A nice change from large crowded malls! Go try it for yourself!!

The weekly farmers market at the Meadows is the best around.  With well over 100+ vendors there is always something for everyone.
