Montana Home Vacations

We just enjoyed a fantastic week in Whitefish, MT.  We arrived at our beautiful condo in downtown Whitefish which was (as described) walking distance to downtown and just 15 minutes from Big Mountain - fantastic location.  It featured a large kitchen with a view to the mountain, cozy living room and fireplace - ideal size for our group.   But the icing on the cake was Montana Home Vacations.  A representative from the company (Jessica) called us before we arrived to see if she wanted us to stock the fridge with food.  When we arrived at the condo she met us there
and showed us how to work the television, WIFI code, operate the steam shower…And when I went into the kitchen I found a basket filled with locally sourced goodies such as homemade banana bread and granola.  What a great way to start our vacation!  I already booked our next trip!   Meg

Carrie Hutchinson is amazing!  She has helped up us through the purchasing of a commercial building for our business, as well as the recent purchase of our new home. She goes above and beyond, always had our backs and steered us in the right direction. Always made sure we were smart in the offers we put in and taught us a bunch along the way. Highly recommend if you are in the market for purchasing any kind of real estate! She will put in the work and not stop until you have found what your dreams are made of.

Very unprofessional, first the agent wants to list our house 20,000 below market value. Then she takes horrible photos of the house not to mention when the house was first listed details about the house were missing. So after a few weeks we were fed up with how the house was listed we decided to take it off the market. It took them 6 months to pick up the lock box and sign. I do not recommend using them at all.

I have listed two homes with Vickie Griffin at Re/Max and I was totally satified with the service I received. I also purchased a home thru Vickie and it was a very smooth process. I would highly recommend Vickie or any of the other Reactors that work there (I am familiar with most of them) because they will work hard for you to insure your satisfaction.  Thank you everyone at Re/Max for helping me at a most stressful time.

They just keep on finding perfect homes for us!!!!  We have bought 6 homes and sold one using them plus getting ready to buy 3 more!  Leigh Windham and Karen Pelham Richter are sooo patient, energetic and have a passion for finding that perfect home.  There is no other realtor I'd ever want to use when buying or selling a homeh. They treat you like you're family and make sure you feel like you're their only customer.  They love animals too, so that just puts them over the top!  LOVE, LOVE, LOVE them!!!  As long as we live in Albany, Ga we wouldn't even THINK about using anyone other than RE/MAX of Albany!

If I could I'd give this company -10000. We're from NY state and bought our home from a listing on MLS with listing agent as JEAN KENNEDY SHIVER We came down for a week looking for homes and found what we thought was a perfect home. We looked at it and it was absolutely beautiful...it was professional staged, which is no problem except when staging is used to cover pertinent flaws.( After researching the listing agent I found that she has a certification in staging.) I did have a house inspection done by a certified home inspector and also a termite inspection. There were no issues. So even though I offered 12,000 less than the listing price they accepted the offer which was a cash sale and 15 day closing. And I accepted it as an as is sale since the inspections showed no issues. Between the totally unethical actions of Jean Kennedy Shiver and the sellers Charlie and Shelly McBurnett I was totally taken to the cleaners and the home was misrepresented, I walked into my new home 1/2 after closing to a filthy disgusting home with dog feces, urine and vomit on my carpets, the home was covered in filth from the disgusting fridge to the absolutely disgusting bathrooms. It took me five hours alone to scrub the master shower. They broke two large windows in the front of the house, took EVERY landscaping rock on the property, removed the storage shed, left garbage all over the property, cut the electricity before the closing, lied about the condition of the pool knowing full well the foremost reason I purchased the home here in the south was because I have MS & RSD and my neurologist recommended getting away from the cold climate, getting a pool as hydrotherapy which would bring up my quality of life, only to find out that the liner of the pool leaks and will cost 4000 to fix. We were made aware that the lining is older and will need to be replaced at the cost of 1200 within 12 to 24 months and  $1200.00 wasn't a deal breaker BUT  both the agent JEAN KENNEDY SHIVER  and owners CHARLIE AND SHELLY MCBURNETT  knew the pool needed an immediate liner replacement and didn't disclose that. JEAN KENNEDY SHIVER  knew the owners have their own pool business and didn't disclose the true conditions of the pool and equipment (which when we moved in they took every piece of equipment and the pool was green, not a pellet of chlorine was left ). PLUS CHARLIE AND SHELLY MCBURNETT  LIED ON THE IRS FORM, THAT STATES NO BUSINESSES WERE RUN FROM THE PROPERTY AS THEY HAD TWO BUSINESSES RUN FROM THE HOME. CHARLIE POOL SERVICES AND C & S LANDSCAPING. JEAN KENNEDY SHIVER said in the listing, per batum, patio overlooking glistening pool, a blatant lie and misrepresentation. We notified JEAN KENNEDY SHIVER  immediately upon walking into the home 1/2 hour after closing to be ignored completely...even after several attempts. As the previous owners CHARLIE AND SHELLY MCBURNETT  were moving two of my new neighbours called her and told her they, CHARLES AND SHELLY MCBURNETT  and their crew were taking all the landscaping and shed and she did absolutely nothing about it totally ignoring those calls too. I did buy the home as is but that is exactly it...as is not what they left it. I have gotten no help nor empathy from REMAX of ALBANY, JEAN KENNEDY SHIVER  only a letter that denies any allegations of unethical practice. Please for your sake, the sake of your wallet, your physical and mental state...DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE OR THIS COMPANY TO BUY YOUR HOME. YOU WILL BE SO SO SORRY!!! THEY  ARE UNETHICAL, will stage a property to look so beautiful only to find, the staging was done with the intentions of covering up pertinent flaws. I am so disgusted at the lack of ethics and honesty that this company has.

Kristin Aleywine is a hard working real estate agent.  She went above and beyond in assisting me sell my home after I had bad experiences with 2 previous realtors.  She listened to my concerns and we worked together to get my home sold.  She was timely in responding to my numerous texts and phone calls.  And she worked tirelessly with the buyers’ agent to resolve any issues that arose until the closing date.

Abdul the worst company to work with. As an owner they straight up lied to me about several repair instances, they knew about issues and did nothing until it was too late to repair and the only resolution was replacement. They refused to meet maintenance workers and forced tenants to take time off work to be present and supervise repairs. They failed to collect agreed upon rent, and acted like it was no big deal. They blamed all their laziness and incompetence on “difficult tenants” which in hindsight was absolutely ridiculous. Do not use this company if you are an owner or renter. I cannot imagine how difficult it must have been for my tenant to deal with them given how poorly they treat their owners.

OMG, I regretted submitting the application twice and paying the $70 fee and not getting any response, and it dawned on me after seeing the bad reviews people had about it. The manager felt so noble that he directly rejected the applicant without going through the owner's approval. Idiot

Take the warnings you have seen to heart! DO NOT rent from these ppl. First off when you sign the contract it says you must leave house clean with all the expectations of what they mean clean. With all of that my husband and I were please thinking that was good because we didn’t have to worry about cleaning the house before we moved in, BOY WE WERE WRONG!   It was dirty so we had to clean it before we could even move in. Also you cannot pay your rent in cash, whatever form of payment you use you are charged extra. To use debit card you are charged $ 9.99 extra. Even if you set it up to automatically draft from your bank account you are charged a fee, when most place with give a discount for autopay. On top of that air conditioner went out during the heat wave they were notified on Friday no one came until Monday night after 6 pm. They are definitely not what they portray when you are looking at their homes. STAY AWAY FROM THEM unless you are ready for a massive headache!!

DO NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE ! They are scum loads . We are currently renting from the clowns!! On Wyoming Avenue in Lynn Haven . It’s been 7 months. And the AC has broken 7 times. They have left me and my child . With no AC. For weeks on end ! Multiple times . With no help. NO TOILETS . Both broken . Have called them over and over . Went to their office on 77 hi way. Only to get no where! They lie . They only care about your money . And then they lie again . And take your deposits ! The back sliding door on this house is about to fall out. They refused to fix it! JEFF AND ALL THEM THAT WORK IN THAT OFFICE ARE ALL LYING CROOKS !!! Rent something. Somewhere else! From anyone else ! Do not trust these people !!!!! RUNN! Heck the bathroom sliding shower door fell out and busted. 2 weeks AFTER!! I called and told them it was broken. And they still never fixed it. I had to pay to replace it myself. And install it!
The last house we rented from them . Last year. $1350 a month. With a $1350 deposit.
They stole all but $80 . And then after they lied about the town house’s condition. And charges me $775 for 16 pieces of sod. At $3.50 a piece from the sod farm. For 1 tire track in the driveway. Then claimed me and my child destroyed the carpets. NO WE DID NOT. Lie !!!! The mailed me my $80 back to me . 4 MONTHS LATER!!!!!! At the new house we are in now . That we messed up and re rented another house from them . At $1750 a month. With a $1750 deposit! This has been the worst rental company ever !
I fell sorry for anyone that rents from these people . I now have to hire an attorney and sue them for breach of contract! And inhumane living conditions. This house is 115 degrees in here . Has been for a week. And still no help . Yet again for the 7th time .

I have been using them for about 5 years and I must say that in having numerous rental properties in many states (5) for the past 36 years, they are the best! Always very responsive to me and my tenants. I would highly recommend this amazing team. By the way, their preparation for selling your home with an impressive market analysis is also the best in the area!

The RE/MAX team is awesome! Not only did they make the the buying process easy when I first purchased my home, they helped me navigate the rental process when I moved out of my property a few years ago. While being new to the "land lord" role, the RE/MAX team took care of everything from setting up the rental property listing to setting up the please agreements. Definitely recommend!

Didn’t even get a chance to rent with them and definitely won’t in the future given their poor communication. I see in the other comments I am not the only one. Tried to view a property and was told it had already been rented moments after my message was responded to. Something must of fell through cause they put it back in the market and again I messaged them to inquire about it was was told the same thing again it was rented moments after I sent it. Katie’s response was they receive 100’s of messages a day so they can respond to everyone. Good to know that’s how you prioritize future renters. Never will I rent from them if this is how the relationship is going to start. Huge red flag 🚩

The absolute worst group of people you could ever deal with. NATALIE POTEETE and REBECCA HAWK are by the the most difficult and disrespectful adults that handle a business like this. They are terribly unprofessional and disregard any of their wrong doings. I would never reccomend these two people or this company. They were my property managers. I signed with Natalie and the only heard from her when I interviewed the company and when she signed the form to do the rental agreement. After that never again. Everything was handled by Rebecca and she was a mess. Sometimes it would take days for her to respond to us. When I was returning to my home they REFUSED to meet to do a walk-through. They never gave me the sheets complete of the walk through saying that it was not needed. The home was not completely trashed but it was damaged. Carpets were not cleaned as what the contract stated would need to done prior to vacating. Holes more than 4 inches is the walls, the microwave door handle was gone and the fridge light bulb had blew which caused a huge black hole inside the fridge. All these was considered wear and tear. Also, a big one- they NEVER returned my keys or garage door opener. When I met both of them I had to make a surprise appearance  because they refused to schedule a meet saying my file had closed. Stay far away from them. They go to the Evan's events to promote their business, don't give them the time of day. They know what they did wrong and they refused to take any responsibility. They are supposed to be a well established business they definitely are not. Take your money, time and energy to a business that will actually take care of you and your property.

The market housing knowledge at this office that far exceeds that of most remax offices. They go above and beyond to ensure that their clients are taken care of in a timely and professional manner. I have worked with this remax for over a decade and can only hope to encounter the level of commitment and technical acumen they possess on other areas of my life. Bravo Zulu Remax Reinvented.

Fantastic! I can not say enough great things about Jessica and her team. Jessica was wonderful to work with. She is very knowledgeable and worked hard to make sure our needs were met and communicated with us at every step of the way. She was kind, but above all she respected us when we bought the house and again when we sold it.

Heather Farmer was extremely unhelpful and rude towards my partner and i. she ignored my calls and texts for days on end and after repeatedly calling her and her office she answered over a week later. nobody should be waiting on an answer for a place to live for weeks with no reply. horrible customer service. do NOT work with this company and Heather Farmer specifically. Absolutely unprofessional and horrible company. Cannot stress this enough, they do not deserve to be anywhere near your home.
