Century 21 Selling Paradise

Century 21 selling Paradise realty is about as dishonest as it comes.  I was representing a buyer and the real estate commission was not shared equally in the transaction.  The seller had a responsibility to continuing operating the rental property in its current state and they let the tenants use security deposits as rent and supposedly the tenants were paying rent and in fact they weren't.  If you're a buyer's agent beware and do your due diligence because they don't disclose anything and in my 30 plus years of having a real estate license are not honest or transparent.

I read another review that said Bonnie Lackey was dishonest in that transaction as well.  It was her that represented the seller in this transaction. I've only met two agents in 30 years that I would refuse to business with and this is one.

I signed a contract with this company and they NEVER did an open house.  The agent was combative with any suggestions I had, and she was rude!  After 3 months of them sitting on their thumbs I ended the contract.  They had the brass to charge me the full cancellation fee without doing a thing for me.  I even had to provide them some pictures that featured an outstanding quality of the house!  When I requested my key back, they held on to it even after I called them and requested it to be mailed.  Finally a friend of mine went in and asked for the key.  They claimed they had mailed it.  My friend said she would return Monday morning with a police officer if we did not have the key by first thing Monday.  Guess what appeared in the mail, THE KEY!  There is no way I could recommend this company!  The company's name should be Not Selling Paradise by con artists.  Bonney Leckie needs a class on professionalism and common courtesy!

Irene Moser was our realtor and sold our house in Cape
Coral. She was the best realtor we have ever used, and we have used multiple Realtors in past. We're an elderly couple and she did much more for us than anyone ever has.

I want to say that I am so grateful that I found Atif. Even before we started working together he told me he would be there every step of the way from beginning to end. He told me he will always communicate with me and answer any questions big or small and to me as a first time homes buyer that was important. And let me tell you, he kept his word. He is extremely knowledgeable, he knows his stuff, a very honest and genuine person and very supportive and motivating. He knows every area in CT up and down. Worked very hard to show me every single place I was interested in and was very knowledgeable about every area we went to. Gave me advice about a lot of things I had no clue about. Tony Salerno is a Broker Owner with RE/MAX Heritage .I do not recommend him to anyone for real estate needs . He is not professional nor responsive and he provides very poor quality and value .He is not a man of his words and deceives people in the way that he lies to them.

Same Same but Different Café

Super yummy spot for breakfast! I got the avocado toast and added egg. Nice atmosphere as well. It was more than I would usually spend on a brunch in with Canada though. But that’s just the reality or this area I guess.

The chunky monkey smoothie was delicious and I also had the chai which was the best chai I’ve had in Baja ! Coffee is also 10/10

The best avocado toast around.   The first time I tried Salsa Macha was here, and now I make it at home.

Wonderful service, very good espresso, and decent food. The croque senior and tomato tart both had wonderful flavor combinations (Baba ghanoush and mustard on a tomato tarte!) However, the bread was soggy and tart crust was undercooked. They obviously care and put a lot of work into the coffee and the food. We will definitely come back for coffee and to try something else or perhaps these on a different day.

We loved staying here we will be back super clean easy access pool and hot tub a bonus close to the beach love the outdoor kitchen and extra outdoor shower super cozy  super reasonably priced found on Air B and B we will be back great find !!!

She tactfully but aggressively followed-up on all of the critical deadlines for the closing of the home sale. We’re very happy to have Debbie as our agent on both home transactions. Buyer's Beware!  This agency is one of the sleaziest and lowest realty agencies I have ever had the displeasure of working with.  While Jayson and Tammie both claimed to be working for me, which to quote them "that is why you hire a Realty agency", neither of them, nor anyone on that team had any interest in looking out for my interests as the buyer. From shady negotiations with the Seller (who they also represented) in which they first declined my offer to only then say it was accepted after I asked for confirmation in writing, to trying to delay discussion with the Seller when issues were found in the inspection period until after the Inspection period had closed.  Not only that, but they also then strongarmed me into the signing of a release of liability for termination of the contract based upon the inspections, which was not required by the contract (which even their boss agreed that I did not have to sign it based off the contract), by withholding my escrow money.  I would seriously encourage anyone looking for a realtor or realty company to look elsewhere as this company and team are not trustworthy and will not look out for you, just their own pockets!

Its amazing how one bad review can lower the average rating.  My realtor for Re/Max was absolutely outstanding and came highly recommended by a friend who had all kinds of issues selling her home.  Tracey Jefferson was immediately responsive to every communication I had with her.  She guided me through the process expertly and gave excellent advice that I am grateful I followed.  I obtained better than expected results and ended up with a great buyer. There are other realtors in this agency that are very good as well.  I don't think you can wrong with Re/Max.

The Realtor Danielle had found a buyer for a home I had on the market recently. Buyers inspection was complete, and Danielle had a list of things that MUST be completed before closing. One was thousands of dollars in drainage even though it wasn’t needed or required. Must buy appliances, must do this, must do that. Well the day we were supposed to close her buyers backed out. She knew a week prior that they weren’t going to get their financing yet she never called to tell anyone. Totally unprofessional and unacceptable. She cost us thousands of dollars and I will make sure she NEVER sells one of our homes! She was extremely RUDE and extremely unprofessional. Do yourself a favor and find someone more competent.

This is more of a review of a specific Realtor than the place itself.  To keep it brief if you want someone who is knowledgeable, will put you in the right home and make you feel your needs are unique and important regardless of the home's sale price then ask for Joe Kapell.  He's not just a great Realtor, but a true professional.

Used RE/MAX in Trumbull to sell a home in Stratford, CT. Realtor Michael Wright was great and couldn't have asked for anything better. Had the house priced right and it sold within a week. Great guy who took an interest from the start before we even decided to go with him.
