We weren’t sure what we wanted to buy so Debbie sent us every listing that matched our criteria and found homes for us to view that weren’t even on the market yet. Seeing those homes helped us to narrow down what we wanted so that when the right house became available, we knew it was the one. Working with Debbie and her team made our home buying experience easy. It had been a while since we had purchased a home. Debbie and her team were there with us and walked us through every step.  In addition, her team’s help has continued post settlement. They are always available for any questions, to make recommendations, and even to let workmen into the house when we aren’t in town. I am very glad that Amy Warick and the Debbie Reed Team sold my house for me recently. Amy was happy to discuss current market conditions and trends with me even before I was ready to sell, and I felt no pressure to list. She was very knowledgeable and provided a "reality check" for my expectations.
I think this is the definition of a good realtor- someone who is an advisor and not just looking for a listing to add to their collection. RE/MAX REALTY GROUP-RENTALS

Honestly don’t know where to begin, parts of Remax have been decent to deal with but the rental manager Sharon Palmer has been one of the rudest professionals I have ever encountered.  She speaks as if she is the “rental nazi” and talks down to tenants. I frankly have had to tell her numerous times not to speak down to me or my wife.  It didn’t stop the abusive behaviors we had to endure over our lease period.

My opinion how she keeps any license in this industry is beyond me.  Over our lease period she was out of the office more than she was ever there.  If you called and had a question you might get an answer in 2 or 3 weeks if at all.

In June our AC was not operating properly, for 16 days we lived in temperatures near 90 degrees because “she forget to call in a service call again cause she was out for like 5 days.  No offer to bring window units, no offer to assist in any way.  Same month our dryer was hit with a power surge.  Another 16 days to have it repaired even making me purchase the dryer cord.

Out of our lease we have over 60 days where the home was inhabitable neither the landlord or rental company did anything to assist us.  On our final walk through we were told we were due our full amount of our deposit by the owners brother, which is who speaks for the owner now as we have been told the owner is sick.  Then we were told he doesn’t even own the property anymore and then we were told he does.  Nothing has made any sense and if your looking for any type of rental I would run far away for this location as long as they have Sharon Palmer running the show.

Point blank if zero stars was an option that is what they would receive #awfulservice #worstaround

Terrible experience.  They had a property listed on vrbo.  I clicked to rent and paid my deposit.  The next day the agent calls and says either pay an additional $1200 in rent for the week or we will cancel.   I told them I wasn’t paying that.  They I received and email saying that since I cancelled (which I didn’t) I would need to have them sub lease it and if successful they would keep 20% of my rental fee!

I called back and asked to speak to the manager Heather. She was on the phone at the time so I asked her to call back.  She hasn’t.  Apparently she can’t be bothered to call back a customer her company tried to screw over.

I had a very professional, very positive experience renting a beach house through ReMax Rentals for a week in July, 2020.  Our agent was Heather Knowles, and she managed a somewhat dicey change of plans (on our part) due to Covid-19.  She managed to re-rent a second week we no longer wanted, thereby saving the one week vacation we did want with our extended clan.

Throughout the negotiations with the owner, Heather's communications to us were calm and professional.  I was very glad to have her managing the situation.

The house was fantastic, but my main comment is that Heather and ReMax cemented our inclination to continue to rent through them for our annual gathering.

Not a good experience.  Told me to do everything through their app, but app did not work at all.  Make sure you call to document any and all damage the day you arrive. I missed one broken bathroom door lock, and was told it was my responsibility that it was broken, because they had to assume the damage was done during my stay.

Heather the manager may be the rudest person I have ever interacted with in the vacation rental market.  Constantly interrupting and talking over me instead of trying to make things right.  There are a ton of other options for renting, save yourself the headaches and do not work with this ocmpany.

Re/Max Realty Group Rehoboth

We rented a 2 bedroom condo in Beachhaven for the 2023 season using Heather at Remax.  I was blown away when a few days after checkout she sent me an email with pictures that we had left the place a mess and she was charging us from the damage deposit.  The craziest part was the examples she gave: We left the blankets and pillows on the floor after stripping the bed, couch pillows were a mess; we left a measuring cup in the sink because we had already started the dishwasher; hair in the floor of the shower and we set the thermostat to 76 degrees and according to their checkout email, I was supposed to leave it at 75 degrees.  The pictures below are her example of damage.  She then told me she was deducting two months of electric bills from the damage deposit. I pointed out that the one bill had days before we were there and she said I was being charged the full bill.  It was clear that she was 100% focused on getting the owner of the condo to sign with Remax again for 2024, so she wasn't going to explain to them that when you rent for 2 months that hair is going to collect in the shower and pillows do get thrown around.  She even brought up a towel and toothbrush we forgot as if they had to call in hazmat to remove them.  I would never use them again and I am definitely going with Jack Lingo for 2024.

Our family has rented from RE/MAX Rentals in Rehoboth Beach for 4 or 5 years now.  Every year, we have been pleased with the RE/MAX staff.  We have interacted with Heather and Tricia, both of whom seem to genuinely care that our scheduling and house-size needs are met.  And the caring is paired with competence and attention to detail.  I would totally recommend RE/MAX for Rehoboth rentals.  I certainly plan to continue to use them for our vacations.

Don't know what happened. Last year the agent I was dealing with was lovely, this year... they fell down (different agent). The home we rented this year, owner must of had spies on us cause remax called 5x to tell us "something." The worst part the agent told us we could not ie smoke in our own cars, like inside OUR car because it's on the property and there's no smoking on the property. I said where do you expect me to go in the middle of the street. She said yes. REALLY! And then the owner of this property told remax we "STOLE" their paper towels. In the contract it states sometimes other guests leave supplies and we can use. The paper towels were insight/reach. Remax "tried" to charge us "$100" for those cheap walmart paper towels. I told them I'll go to walmart and replace, you BETTER NOT charge me for that. Never will I rent for this particular owner again. I wrote to remax I have yet to hear from them about my experience on this property.

I was looking for a rental property in the Millsboro DE, and I was impressed with the level of knowledge and amount of data that they had about the market. Verna and the Re/Max Team were ALWAYS available for their tour and their responsiveness was incredible. Seriously. After looking at more than 5+ properties in a span of 2 days, I was able to close a property in less than a week!   Their promptness, knowledge of the market, kindness, and good energy made this whole process simple and stress-free.

Having tried to rent through other realtors I can say that Remax Rehobeth is truly elite.  I look forward to renting through them in the future and I HIGHLY recommend working with the Remax Rehoboth team!

We rented the same house on the beach at Rehobath Beach as we have for many many years however this year covid-19 struck. The beach and restaurants were closed. We of course canceled our reservation.
Now....you would think we would have been met with a "yes we understand  and of course we will refund your money" but No. We instead were told well..if we can rent it out we will give you your money back. WHAT!!
THEN we were told by an remax agent our week was rented. Then we were told no only partially rented and oh btw there is a 900.00 cancelation fee. WHAT!!
I find this to be extremely unprofessional, unethical and morally wrong. Liars and cheats to be exact!!  Btw did I mention that remax took over renting this house to us last year and doubled our rent.
Do not do business with Remax or any of their agents. I will use every tech platform to rewrite this message and inform all I meet to stay clear.
Btw did I also mention that the previous real estate agency who was in charge of renting this house to us for many years was awesome and I know this would have never have occurred under their watch. Money would have been refunded with no problem and they would have suggested to us just that.

Her communication with us was simply awesome. In addition, when we finally got into our house, the cleaning crew had not done their job. Amy hired a cleaning crew that arrived the very next morning to make it right... something she did not have to do.

Totally one on one service with Realtor. Ingrid Morris. She answered all the right questions regarding our needs and gave us advice as to what to expect. We received a list of available homes and went to see them immediately.  Great experience. Bilingual Spanish and English. Plenty of parking and great location.

This office and staff are Great! They are very caring and kind. Always friendly and  treats you like family. I don't think race is a part of their thinking because I have been a tenant for over 8 years and have never been treated unfairly. Oh yeah, I am black.

If I could rate it no stars, I would. Absolutely unprofessional. My husband walked in to ask about homes for rent and the woman was very nice until he mentioned we have section 8, and she got on the phone and got so nasty! I understand people make a bad name for others, but we are a working family. Such a disgrace! Never will I ever recommend anyone go here.

Unfortunately I cannot give zero stars, they are horrible, horrible people. The owner hung up on me mid-question and when I called back he called me a vulgar name and hung up on me again. All this because his agent was an hour and fifteen minutes late and we had driven from Gainesville so we had to wait. I just wanted to know how long it would be. We bought the home, but through a different company.

Outstanding service.
Staff attention to detail in helping us find our forever home was superb.
I’ll only need to make one call if we ever decide to move again.

My family has been involved in real estate for over 30 years; buying and selling homes and Maryann Pharis-Mathes is the most unprofessional and disrespectful salesperson we have ever dealt with.

Failure to accommodate simple requests, stormed out of the closing like a petulant child when said failure was pointed out and at the conclusion of the closing, she threw the paper work and keys at my mother as if she was a beggar rather than handing them over like a true professional would do.

I usually do not write reviews but I was so appalled by what I witnessed, I felt compelled to make sure that Polk County understands who and what kind of person Maryann Pharis-Mathes is.

I cannot speak to the rest of Watson & Myers Century 21 Watson brokers, but Maryann does not belong in this business and if Watson & Myers are tolerant of this type of behavior, then save yourself the headaches and aggravation and take your business elsewhere.
