Everything you want for everything you need for your home or yard projects. The staff is the best I’ve known. I’ve worked in two different hardware stores, so I know a little about the industry. Great store.

Ace hardware is a great store with helpful employees.  They have a wide variety of necessities and gifts for all types of people.
My favorite thing about ace is the front gifts section and the clearance sales.

LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS STORE. If you read my earlier post about Connie’s we went to ace right after we left there and the customer service was top notch they will not let you leave until you have the right part and it was CHEAPER AT ACE!!!

Associates are always helpful! When I can’t get to a big box store I always go here!

Walmart Supercenter

Walmart had exactly what I was looking for. The customer service was great, and didn't just point to where the item I was looking for or tell me about where it should be, they walked over to it, and showed me where it was in the shelves.

Shout out to the Walmart employee who was cleaning the parking lot picking up the trash.

I'd really rather shop anywhere else. The grocery pickup is pretty good at this location, those guys are nice. But the company as a whole sucks,a lot of the inside employees have terrible attitudes. The company won't even honor prices they have marked OR price match prices from their own app in store. The Walmart company as a whole is garbage, as is the customer service.

I would give no stars if i could. I returned a lotion that gave me an allergic reaction and the customer service lady was very rude about it. She said "why are you returning this half empty bottle?" And im like For one B it was not empty and for two why the attitude, and then my sister sneezes and the lady got all weird and asked if she could step back, for one my sister had bad allergies and takes meds for it and for two why the attitude AGAIN. If your not going to say anything nice don't say anything at all, period!. Definitely not happy about this situation.

I really learned my lessonI ordered online, made Partial payment I was short $11 so I got a $20gift card after getting home to pay the $11 it changed to $20 i owed in 2 hours the price changed I paid hoping I would be able to get $8.60 refunded back to me through email I was told 8.14 will be returned I didn't see it so I emailed back and the new person thought I wanted to see when my items will arrive stupid guy then told me I will not get a return And that I should get hold of my financial institution to get a refund and I paid with a Walmart gift card how is that?
I will not buy online nor will I  ever trust Walmart again

Duke's Ace Hardware

Extremely helpful staff. I had stopped at another Ace location looking for a particular drill chuck. They didn’t have it, but took the time to find it and referred me to Dukes. The Dukes staff jumped right in, found the chuck I needed and made sure it would fit my drill. All of this done quickly as I had explained I was under a time crunch. Great people! They kick hell out of big box places in customer service!

Staff is always friendly and courteous. They have always offered help when I looked lost looking for an item. Always walk me to the item that I am looking for - not just tell me what aisle. I have been going to Duke's for 40 years.

Phenomenal customer service! Great people and always have what you need!! 10000% better than a big box store!!

Great selection of vanities and countertops and he was very patient with our slow pace.  Timely delivery of all materials and a great store to work with for home improvement.

Had what I needed as other places did not have in stock. Employees were very helpful. Store was stocked and clean. I will be back. Thanks

School of Rock

Awesome place to learn and better yourself as a musician! Staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and great at inspiring the students to learn music! The School of Rock method is streamlined through professional means to keep that consistency with the successful franchise. The location is very clean, easy to navigate, decor is elevated all around and COVID-19 precautions were in place when it was needed most, still optionable I believe at request. Learning music can inspire confidence for somebody of any age, it's invaluable and although it could be very tough to learn instruments it can be very fufilling, very good for the brain as well! I myself have taken lessons in the past from private teachers all the way through college level classes and having the system in place is highly effective, curtailed to modern technology like apps. Pricing is  reasonable, the skills for life are worth unpinching any penny. What would I change? Perhaps building a small stage to lift drums off floor in band rooms, T.V in the back lobby, more soundproofing including foam, diffusion and although this is more of a franchise suggestion, adding music studio/production/recording elements to the mix! Also, more raises for the drum teachers!! Great location!

Paul Davis Restoration & Remodeling

I cannot say enough good things about Paul Davis Restoration. After meeting some unscrupulous contractors, my insurance company recommended Paul Davis. Once I met Derek, I was immediately put at ease and knew I was in good hands. Derek was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and most importantly trustworthy. Derek exemplifies the true meaning of providing customer centric service. Derek was very accommodating and listened to my concerns about mitigation equipment and providing a timeframe of each arrival. Derek always provided next steps and there were never any surprises. Derek called each morning to check-in. Derek made an introduction to our project manager, Louie who was equally professional and wonderful. Louie showed up each day and physically checked each piece of equipment and moved things as needed per the moisture readings. He always kept me abreast of his findings and we always felt like we knew what was happening at each turn. Our mitigation team was also exceptional. They were extremely diligent and hardworking. They cleaned up after themselves and we couldn’t have been happier with how tidy and neat they were. I have even raved to my friends and family with how impressed I am with Paul Davis Restoration. When your whole life turns up side down, it is so nice to have a company like Paul Davis Restoration that knows exactly what is required to mitigate the damages and makes a terrible situation so much better.

Working with Paul Davis Restoration and Remodeling has been an incredibly positive experience. We typically do not leave reviews; in fact, this is a first. Our project manager, Derek, is beyond exceptional! The company’s service, professionalism, and transparency have been appreciated. Everyone we have worked with has been prompt in responding, accessible, and we always knew the plan. I always felt like we  had a plan/direction through each phase of the project. They treated us like we were a valued customer. Things moved promptly and truly we have recommended them to everyone. My condo flooded in September 2022 and I had severe water damage to both my 1st and 2nd floor!
The Paul Davis team was responsive from the moment I spoke to them on the phone while other companies told me it was days before they could come out!
Juan and the clean up crew did an amazing job cleaning up and drying the water.
Brandon, Justin and Tyler were there throughout the reconstruction process which took 6 months.
They were responsive to my every question and request. Justin even offered to come over on a Sunday to help with an issue with my washing machine. They kept me in the loop of timing of all aspects of the reconstruction. Specifically, Justin and Tyler became like family throughout the process.
I could not have asked for a better team or experience with Paul Davis!

Last summer when my condo caught fire, I was completely devastated. Thinking it would never happen to me, I barely knew anything about restoration. That’s where Justin came in and brought a lot of light to my situation. He explained everything in great detail, expedited many processes, helped me choose the best products and solutions and on top of that, CARED. He truly cared for my well being and for everything to wrap up smoothly without any added stress to me. The process was long and he exceeded expectations every single time. I will never forget Justin’s assistance through a tough time. He’s a true gem!

We contacted Paul Davis after finding water dripping from our basement dry-walled ceiling. It turns out our dishwasher was leaking and we didn't know how long it had been happening...A team was to our house the morning after I called and the work began immediately. Our project managers, Derek for the water mitigation team and Justin for the remodeling team, were both very professional, responded to questions quickly, and had great communication throughout the project. I was impressed with how quickly they were able to get the appropriate workers to the house for each step of the process. The crew from Paul Davis as well as the subcontractors for the remodeling were all considerate of our space, knowledgable and efficient. Tyler did a great job with the trim work and all is looking back (or better) to the original condition.

I can't say enough of how great this school is. Such an amazing place to learn how to rock. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

My son learned so much in such a short week-long camp and loved it. He will be continuing with lessons this fall. Thank you School of Rock!

Seriously the best staff & music program for all ages! My daughter absolutely loves school of rock!  She looks forward to every session and is inspired by them. School of Rock staff are friendly, knowledgable, & they care.  They are flexible and accommodating.  The performances are also amazing.  As a parent, you can visually see the work that has been put in.  You can't ask for anything more!

School of Rock provides a fun, safe environment for my daughter to explore her music abilities in fun and unique ways. The staff is always super friendly and supportive and Rachel has yet to meet an instructor she didn't love. Thanks SofR!

Best thing that ever happened for our child!  Highly recommended. They have a great staff that are welcoming and accepting of all people. Our child has been attending for 3 years now and who knows how much better they'd be by now had they started there sooner.  We are not from Oak Park, we reside in Chicago and the group of musicians there have taken our child in and made them feel at home. They have great friendships that formed at the school.

Never any carts inside. Employees are always on their phones, and most have no knowledge in the area they work. Managers are rude and have no care for the customers. Always out of stock on a lot of things. Never any open registers. The bathroom is always dirty. The employees like to hide in the handicap stall and the family bathroom.

This location is set up like most Walmats. They have both self checkout and staff checkout. The store was clean and the staff friendly. They do have a Security Guard checking receipts however they don't stop everyone. Only items that aren't bagged. I'm not sure how they handle customers who don't wish to show their receipt those who were stopped did. The door staff was friendly and polite.

Wonderful customer service highly appreciated this location small town the heart of a giant I travel alot and I use this location had an issue and the ones behind the counter make sure they went above and beyond to help me out thank you very much Mile city montana and thank you very much Walmart 😊 you guys rock

Nice place to visit when there is nothing in next 2 hours drive... Its a only Walmart after billing MT . Good thing about montana as there is no tax on groceries and also there is a truck parking available.

This Walmart was very clean, easily found the things I was looking for, and good clearance section!

Target

Always clean and well organized. There can be a wait at the customer service desk for order pick or returns. Seems like there's only 1 person there at a time. There isn't usually a big wait in the checkout line. Drive up is always fast and friendly.

Target is my go-to shopping place. The associates are friendly, the stores are well organized and clean, and the checkout is quick.  The ease of returns are also painless. They give you 90 days to return, unless specified otherwise. There are also several  bonuses shopping @Target like receiving cash back on every purchase just by signing up for Target Citcle. Download the Target app and start earning reward money for Everyday purchases.  Not to mention, when you have the app, and input your Target Circle number at the checkout, your receipts are saved there just in case you lose the paper receipt. You can also view and save coupons in the app. You get 5% donated to a school of your choice. You get 5% off your purchase for your birthday that can be used anytime within that month...I think. Then there's Pick-up and Drive-up options for your lazy days. Oh, and you can search for and item in the app to see if it's available at your store, that way you don't make a blank trip. You can pull up the app while in store to get the location of an item too. So there's no need to be walking around in circles looking for something because the aisle info is included...and this works for any store, just select your current store location and Voila. The list goes on, but this list should help  you decide what you wanna do 😘

I’m appalled at the young lady in the fitting room area who told my daughter she can try on something as long as she doesn’t leave it in the fitting room and when she’s done she needs to bring it out I’m utterly disgusted it’s like everything in me not to go off on her I was very offended that she would say something like that Is her job to make sure that the fitting rooms are clean? Not my daughters people leave stuff in the fitting rooms all the time and for her to make the comment I took it as she was being racist and at the same Talking down on my daughter my daughter is grown she might not look like it but she is. I spoke with the manager about the situation and she assured me that she would address it. I did not stick around to see what happened because the store was closing. I will not be back in this location.

I love Target! Most of the time they have what I need. Their home decore  department is nice, but they don't have to many sales in this department. Today I came in for a body and hair mist I really like and also picked up a cute little mini cake stand.

The customer service was severely lax called 25 times altogether to see if they had the item we online ordered no answer or just got hung up on. Cashier couldn’t be bothered to get off the phone when we went to check out. I work in retail and that was awful. maybe have a meeting and discuss how to answer store phones and stay off of personal phones.

Ace Handyman Services Lake Cook

First time using this service. The handyman Robert was great with my dogs! He changed my front door lock and deadbolt and then aligned it properly so it would actually work! He noticed that my storm door was missing a lock and fashioned one out of a piece of metal in his truck!
Completely satisfied and will use their service again!

I had  my front entry door repaired with re sanding and re staining. Al the “door doctor” did a fabulous job. His first  try at staining, the wood wouldn’t cooperate so he didn’t hesitate at all to re strip and start over. My front door looks amazing.  Al’s friendliness and work ethic are perfect examples of the great reputation ACE HARDWARE  has established. I will definitely be using ACE’S HANDYMAN services again in the future!

100% recommend! I used their handyman services and later hired them for basement remodeling. Chris, Al, and everyone I met are friendly, they’re willing to work with my schedule and small requests here and there, and the price was reasonable. John W Weiss Ace Hardware

This is not just one experience, but many, many over the years.  From getting keys cut to random light bulb searches, to ant repellent products, cleaning products and any time I need a solution to something - over YEARS - Weiss is my one stop shop!  Not only haves they solved/helped me solve issues, but the staff is OUTSTANDING!!  These guys are true pros and experts!  I trust them implicitly. They carry a huge variety of products.  Doormats, anyone? aprons? car products? Placemats? Shower and tub issues? This particular has it all and more.  You cannot top their customer service, expertise, knowledge!!

John is the key wizard!!!  He was able to make me a copy of programmed car key and was super fast.  This Ace also has plenty of helpful and friendly staff. 5 star customer experience!

Excellent Ace Hardware store. A huge variety of items in stock, excellent customer service from employees, and very neat and clean store. Love shopping here.

While they can’t beat the selection of and some of the prices of the products in a big box store, they have excellent and friendly customer service. The store associates  are well-versed in all matters home-related. This is a great alternative for those who don’t want  to spend 20 minutes at Menards or Home Depot chasing a clueless associate down to find you the wrong product which you will end up having to return .

Friendly and helpful staff. So much easier to find things than the big box stores. Everyone is helpful.i was at home depot earlier, waited for help even after they called on radio for someone, no one came after 15 mins so i left went to ace and found what i needed.
