I had an event I did not have an appointment.  But they were able to fit me in . Very professional.  The place is very clean and organized

Quick and attentive service and made me feel special. Basic blowout I felt glamorous.

Literally this place is dying, the customer service is 0, you can never make an appointment over the phone, it’s always asking to leave a v/m they never get back to you, if you walk in it’s empty and they don’t want to assist you, never coming back!

Horrible experience! The girl washed my daughters hair and didn’t put a towel under it, her wet hair dropped everywhere. Here clothes were all wet, when I asked her to put a towel she didn’t. Then when I asked the other employee to put a towel, she said she was t going to do my daughters hair and left. We will never go here again, my daughter was so upset she said she never wanted to get her hair blow dried again.

Karen (who is not at all a 'Karen'- she is so sweet!)  did an absolutely wonderful job doing my hair for a wedding on Saturday. They were a few minutes late and she was super apologetic (luckily I prepared for this because of the reviews on here). She walked me through the process because it was my first time and asked all the right things. I am from out of town but if I am ever near by she will be my go to!

Hair + Space Blowdry and Beauty Bar

By far one of the worst experiences I have ever encountered at a hair salon. Due to the thickness and length of my hair I ended leaving half blow-dried. In my opinion, their styling methods and business model is not made to service anything above type 3C hair.

They always do a great job with my hair. I usually  get or make my appointments with Wynette. She is very interested in the health of your hair as well as the beauty and that's important to me.

First time visiting the salon. I went for a routine trim. My scalp feels cleansed and just much better than I walked in. I think I’m more patient with detangling my hair, which is my reason for one less star. But the stylist and customer service 5/5. I’ll be back

The salon gives an upscale touch. Get there early because the gps and hotel will confuse you.

I've had a couple different stylist so far. All have been professional, friendly and easy to engage with. They listen to what your looking for as an end result. I really appreciated the services they offer!

Amazing place. The trim is really what I wanted, just the endings. They staff is super professional and knowledgeable. To enter, stop by the front desk of the hotel for a key in order to use the elevator. Park the hotel parking and they validated for you.

European Wax Center

Love this location & Mariah is the best! My mom got to see her first originally and then we both went back for more waxing after getting the all you can wax 🤍 pass - amazing deal! Period (:  All the ladies and front desk staff are always super helpful and accommodating as well! And the SLOW grow products are amazing and smell so gentle & feminine and work!

Davielle was amazing!! She paid attention to detail and finished in a timely manner!! Thank you ladies! You’re all great.

My experience at this European Wax center has always been excellent service. I went in yesterday 12/30/23 and wanted to move my appointment up and with no problem I waited 5mins and was in. My Specialist was Imani and she was amazing very personable and gentle with the wax. I will be going back to her my next appointment. I also won a raffle thanks European Wax Center Riverdale Park!!!!!

I've been a EWC customer for years, but I'm new to this location. Finding a new waxer can be a bit of a challenge but I'm so happy to have found Jas! Quick and thorough with the wax, and super friendly! Can't wait to see her for my next appointment!

A clean and pleasant place, good atmosphere, something I love is that she takes her time to give you good service, friendly and very good energy and experience.  I give it 5 stars and really recommend this place.  I have visited several places in the DMV and this one meets my expectations.

Wow!! This place is an Ellicott city gem. With a same-day appointment, Aykut worked miracles and turned my outdated blonde highlights into the gorgeous, natural looking blonde hair of my dreams. Plus, he did it all in less time than any other professional I’ve been to in years. By far my new favorite stylist!! I’ll be recommending to everyone I know.

This place is sooo great! Beyto really knows what he’s doing, great customer service and always does the best job. I am always satisfied and walk out the salon with the biggest smile. I get so many compliments on my hair all the time. I would definitely give this place a try if I were you, once you start you won’t stop!

I’m usually too lazy to leave reviews, but this hair salon and my wonderful hairstylist Beyto deserves the five stars.
Before my visit I was really unhappy with my color, my hair was unhealthy/ damaged, but Beyto did his magic and saved me and my hair.
I wasn’t sure what I wanted and what suits me, so he helped me to get to the perfect color, gave me recommendations, and it turned out so beautifully.
I couldn’t be happier, it made me more confident, and I left happy.
The atmosphere in salon is so good, that I just want to go back, even when I don’t need a haircut.
I would definitely recommend this place and Beyto, because only problem I have is I wish I found them sooner.

I love this place for my haircuts and blowouts! Consistently I have been so happy with the results! Beyto is really skilled and works so efficiently- I am always in and out faster than any other salon. And with hair that’s styled and actually stays that way for the rest of the day! Drybar - DTLA at the Bloc

I booked an appointment same-day. I had a great stylist who understood my ultimate goal was to run my hands through my hair without getting stuck in any knots- I just wanted *softness*. I was happy with the results.

I am so impressed with Maggie and Jeri - this is the first dry bar that sold me on their customer service as well as the overall experience they provided. I happened to have walked in when the area manager Jasz was paying a visit to this location. Wow! Dry bars across the city needs more staff like this for a loyal clientele. They have just turned me in a new weekly client! Customer service is everything and this location goes above and beyond!

I have had horrible service at the DTLA location. My appointment was at 8 am. I arrived promptly at 8. Mind you I called ahead and was told that the earliest appointment was 8 because that was when the store opened. Imagine my surprise when I see that there is already someone there. No one checks me in and there is only one stylist who is already working on someone else’s hair. When I asked him when I would be helped when it was ten minutes after he said I had to wait because he was the only one available. It’s now fifteen minutes after and there has been no apology. It appeared it was going to take another fifteen minutes at least  since he’s just stared curling her hair. I have a meeting to get to and a photoshoot and now my hair won’t be done- there’s no way I’ll be able to leave in time. This is wildly unacceptable- I booked this appointment weeks ago and was told I would be the first seen. I needed my hair done for a photo shoot for a major moment in my career, something I’ve been working on for two years. Save your money and go elsewhere or do your own hair.

Coco is amazing!!! Request her! She gave me an incredible scalp massage and blowout. She's so sweet and efficient.

May 26 2023. Awful they charged my 17 year old daughter $100 for an unwashed hair do that looked like a toddler could have done it.  It was her prom day and the quality of the updo was awful and when I went in and showed pics they could care less. I said you didn’t even wash her hair! It wasn’t even a French braid or anything fancy at all. they literally just took up her hair and put Bobby pins in it. No design whatsoever. Tell me this sloppy job was worth $100.

Beauty LAB

I loveeeeee Madison!!!! She is great! She is quick and personable! We would have a whole convo and two secs later, she’s done. I don’t like the whole pay first policy but I’m comfy enough to pay for MADISON up front.

I was going here for a few months

There were several visits in which I had to stand outside or sit in the lobby to wait for my service after my scheduled time.

Today I was 4 minutes late for my appointment because of traffic. I was told to sign in on their new system. After attempting that, I told the girl at the desk it didn’t work. She went to ask someone and by the time she returns, I’m told that because I was over 5 minutes late I can’t sign in or be seen. For context we are having this conversation at 5:46. She didn’t know the system wouldn’t let me sign in. That’s not her fault, but that’s not my fault either.

She said I could reschedule for a 25% fee. I wish I would.

It’s okay for customers to stand outside for 10 minutes because someone is on break, eating or running behind but I can’t be serviced at 4 minutes? I have to pay to reschedule. Hypothetical and unfair.

There’s plenty of reputable places with better services.

This is my go to waxing place! The specialists are great. I really enjoy the type of wax they use, it makes a painful process less painful. I moved and I’m still coming here!

I've been coming here for 4 years and have had brazilian waxes done by Lanisha. In fact, she was the first one to ever do a wax on me and made my first experience very comfortable. She is extremely knowledgeable and ensures everyone on her team knows what they are doing. I have also been waxed by Ariel. She is my go-to waxer in the summer and I always look forward to seeing her because she takes the time to get to know you and actually remembers the conversations you have.

Beauty Lab is my go-to wax spot in Columbia. The staff is efficient but very kind, and the space is calm and clean. I always leave feeling like I get my money’s worth. If you get bikini waxes, you also leave feeling mostly pain-free! I’d happily recommend!!

This was my first ever Brazilian wax! I was a bit nervous but Christal made the atmosphere so relaxed and safe. She guided me through the process which distracted me through the pain. I am fully satisfied with my service and recommend her to anyone who is thinking about getting any sort of waxing. I can tell that she's a professional and I can assure you that you're in the best of hands!

VReeland’s Beauty & Blow Dry Bar

I would like to say that I have been looking for a natural hair stylist since I have been in the DMV area do about a year and a half now. Well, I know for a fact I have found my stylist . Vreeland has excellent customer service . She makes you feel welcomed as a new client. She has an excellent vibe. My hair experience was a 10/10. From the stream treatment to me getting my hair massaged ( mid conversation ready to fall asleep ) it was top tier. She definitely knows how to manage natural hair. If you are still looking why? I am so happy to start my hair journey with her. Not to mention she’s a one stop shop. She does lashes and waxes she offer’s everything a women needs in one place.

I had a fabulous experience at Vreeland’s salon this past week. I had microlinks installed. I was super apprehensive to get them and the stylist met with me for a consultation and was always available to discuss my needs and concerns prior to install. Her customer service is outstanding. The compliments I received after my appointment were plentiful. I like how light the microlinks are as compared to a sew in. I love the versatility of being able to put my hair up in a pony. The install feels as if there is nothing in my hair. I used a kinky straight texture that matched my hair and it was flat ironed bone straight. When you are a client at this salon you can expect quality service from a stylist that really cares about you and your hair. I am so happy to have met her and I’m looking forward to many more appointments with this awesome stylist. 5/5

Vreeland is very kind. She took her time to ensure that my final look was flawless. I’ve never seen my hair the same way as after she did it and it was easy to manage.

Drybar - Burbank

Great customer service from the beginning. Took my mom, daughter & myself to get pampered & they didn’t disappoint. Our hair type is also hard to style since it’s thick “Ethic” not anyone can do our hair, price is right.  They did a great job , we loved it. Thank you !

I just left this location and everything went pretty smooth. My appointment was for 1045am. I arrived at 1025am. I wanted to be early due to the negative reviews that they always run late. I figured if I arrive early maybe someone will be available. And I was right. They started working on me pretty much immediately. My stylist was very nice and sweet. The location is clean and the service was quick. My only negative point are the prices. For what you get done which is a wash and style  it’s not worth the price of $69 with tip. I pay this much and it includes a cut. Although my first time was an overall positive experience I would not do this again.

1. Made an appt for 11, arrived at 10:50, was taken at 11:30
2. I showed a photo of what I wanted and it was not what the outcome was (wanted braids and the hairstylist literally was like - it’s not working let’s try something else).
3. I told her I didn’t like it she gave me attitude and said that’s what I showed her…
4. I was incorrectly charged and when I called, left messages and emailed, nobody got back to me.
5. Go to a real hair salon- all they know how to do is charge your card and aggravate you.

Caution for those with "natural hair" – I strongly advise avoiding this place. While the ambiance is appealing and the staff friendly, my daughter's hair was left in complete disarray. She is of mixed race (half black and white), and I took the precaution of reaching out to Drybar before booking to inquire about their expertise with "natural" and "ethnic" hair. Their enthusiastic response assured me they could handle it. I even confirmed if they would flat iron the hair after a blowout to achieve a bone-straight look, and was once again reassured. Unfortunately, my daughter left the salon with disastrous results. I spent $55 on this disappointing experience. My frustration knows no bounds, and I vow to NEVER return to Drybar. This was an absolute nightmare. Despite attempting to bring this matter to the attention of both Drybar management and corporate, my efforts were met with silence – a clear display of disregard. I will not subject myself to this again.

There is a very rude girl at the cashier with a huge attitude problem. Sometimes she does hair and sometimes she takes over as the check out cashier. I had my hair blow dried for 65.00 not including a 10.00 tip i wanted to give to my stylist. I had
only a twenty. So I asked for change and she straight out told me to "just give the twenty as tip. I didn't want to to leave my stylist tip less so I was forced to give a twenty. I will not be bullied into how much tip I'm going to leave someone. Taking my business elsewhere 😌

. Please  get rid of her, she is very bad for your business.
