Pure Barre

I absolutely love Pure Barre, especially this location! I always feel welcomed and included as soon as I walk in the door. I love this style of working out. It really helps me feel my body and be aware of myself. I love the atmosphere created by the instructors and the other people working out. Overall, I love this place!

I love working out here. Most of the instructors are amazing and professional.  I look forward to my workouts here. The owner is nice. Price is reasonable. I’ve only been going 2 months, but so far so good.

I LOVE the OB Pure Barre community. I’ve always felt welcome & included. There are many opportunities to get connected to other members outside of class as well.

StretchLab

I had this guy Alex during my time there and he was the nicest guy I’ve ever met. Super accommodating and helpful throughout the exercises and he gave me a lot of good tips I’ll be using everyday. I really appreciate being able to make it out there with my partner because we both had an amazing time. Be back soon

Louie is the best!  He really helped me so that I can move my left arm freely without pain after I leave.  The staff is friendly and it’s a fun experience as well. Before I went I didn’t know that the stretches could help as much as they do.

First, I would like to share that I have never seen or heard of a stretch lab. This was a new experience for me, and I might add a wonderful experience. I’m going to bring my son and myself at least twice a month. Dani is incredibly intelligent about her profession. Her demeanor, soft-spoken, just an all-around professional. Thank you.Dani for that experience I feel fantastic.!!!

Love my 50 minutes session with Dani. She was aware I am dealing with hip flexor injury. She made me feel at easy and care for through her clear communication and careful approach of stretching me. I felt absolutely amazing after our session. I will be back.

Great experience for my first visit. The computer assessment provides clarity on where work is needed. Carly explained everything so I could understand what she was doing and why. Great experience.

Energy Fire Fitness

I have come across many different fitness studios and found this amazing facility, not only does it have amazing fitness instructors but have a variety of workouts. It’s super clean, well equipped with all of our needs. It has a PROTEIN BAR that serves delicious protein shakes, energy refreshers and even protein desserts!!!
YOU HAVE TO COME, GIVE IT A TRY.. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.

They have amazing instructors.  They each have their own style.  A lot of energy.  The place is clean .  I personally love all the classes.  I highly recommend it

I have been going to the zumba class for a little over 2 years and its amazing. It feels like a big family gym. Always have lots of fun.

Love the place. Good work out place  zumba n bootcamp.  Also more stuff.   Come and visit the place you will love it too everyone is friendly.

Lawndale Christian Fitness Center

Love the staff the atmosphere and all the people who Love working out great location with quality equipment it’s worth every penny for the membership or day pass.

Best gym in the area by far. The price makes it even better. I will always go here unless I move far away!

I go for spin class on mondays and wednesdays. I'm not a small girl and I was very scared to walk in this class. The  amazing lady geneva made me feel so welcomed. She pushed me to levels I never knew I could go. I'm so excited  for mondays and Wednesdays  to come to her class!! I have learned to push my self and keep pushing even when I wanna stop. Spin class is a must if u wanna burn a lot of calories and push yourself!!

It's a very clean and friendly environment. Great place to workout.

Americas Gym

This is a great gym!❤️Great staff, equipment, and space the environment is great and really helping me with my weight loss journey I highly recommend to all to get a membership and get started on your fitness journey!

America's Gym is great! I have been going there for over 10 years! The staff is friendly and they provide all of the stations you need for good weight training with many free weights and good stations. You also can do good cardio there with bikes.

I’ve been coming to this gym for4 months now and i love it 💪. Great vibes all around!!! Love the people in there are very helpful when I was new and didn’t know how to do any exercises. However the people there was very friendly and helped me out. Very clean and I love the old school vibes and weights, if you truly love weight and fitness this is the gym for you.❤️❤️❤️

Gym Addict Fitness

Great gym with every piece of equipment imaginable. I followed my personal trainer (Danielle - who is amazing!) to this location and I've been very happy with the change. Present and active owners with members spanning from bodybuilders to beginners, there's a wide array of fitness levels but everyone is courteous and shares the space well. I also love that I can grab a quick smoothie or healthy snack next door.

Great atmosphere, equipment, music, and everything else! I cannot recommend this gym enough. The owners are super nice and knowledgeable! If you are looking for a personal trainer Pedro is going to be the guy you need. He is professional, passionate, and helpful!  Love this gym!! I highly recommend.

Phenomenal gym! Friendly and welcoming team, great equipment, and the energetic atmosphere that helps you put in the work. Its definitely a space where you can enjoy your fitness journey no matter your level of experience. I don’t live in the area but love to come in when I’m visiting.

I've worked out at multiple gyms with a variety of trainers over the last 16 years and I can confidently say no place has has given me results and confidence like Gym Addict has. Not only is the staff incredibly friendly, there is no shortage of equipment and you will never have to wait for a machine. Love this gym! Owners don't play games with pricing and memberships, they are straight forward. All equipment is new and kept clean and repaired and the community here is awesome. Best gym I've used in Chicago.

Challenging and achievable. Positive, personal environment.  Weston is very committed to your success and overall fitness experience. 30 minute session removes the barrier to going to the gym...circuit done before you know it and you feel great.

Burn Boot Camp

I'm so glad to have recently joined this amazingly supportive fitness community. I was so impressed after my 1-month trial, that I decided to commit to an 18-month membership. The trainers are enthusiastic, passionate, and encouraging. The workouts are challenging. However, I love that they always suggest modifiers if I need to be extra gentle or honor a certain part of my body for whatever reason. The owner, Nina, is really invested in keeping the members safe, supported, and engaged. She goes "above and beyond" for the community she (and the rest of the crew at Burn Boot Camp) have created! Expect lots of high fives and encouragement during class.

My experience with Burn Boot Camp has been amazing.  A great community of people, our trainers are the BEST of the BEST & AMAZING,  the staff is the GREATEST! The support we get from everyone there is SO much LOVE 💙 & ENCOURAGEMENT that I think there's no other place like this! I'm SO LUCKY to be part of such an amazing gym. I can not imagine my life without them. They have changed my life in how I eat, and how I work out. It's my HAPPY PLACE!

Burn Boot Camp Evanston is the best gym I’ve ever belonged to!  Not because of the equipment or the physical space (which are great), but because of the atmosphere!  They are welcoming and meet you where you’re at and push you when they know you are capable of more.  Members and coaches are so supportive of one another.   The high fives, free childcare, and free focus meetings with the coaches where you can discuss your nutritional or fitness goals are all added bonuses of membership!

I have been working out with Burn since 2019 and transitioned to the Evanston location May 2022. Evanston Burn is top notch when it comes to attentiveness and caring of their clients. They encourage and push and understand all in the same breath!  The focus meetings with trainers keep you on task and keep you accountable- and the best part is it’s Included in your membership.  They encourage you to push yourself to your limit but also understand and modify if you have an injury that you’re nurturing. I love the community feel that they foster and it is an excellent place to get strong!  If needed, they also offer child care which I’ve used and my kids have loved it!

I loved this place was here for about a month.. the staff are so friendly and helpful..the coaches they push you to your goals and their were all very fun and friendly.. the whole experience was wonderful . You come in and right away they make you feel like home.. the whole community is lovely.. I would definitely recommend this place!!! They also have day care for your kids.. their schedule is really flexible and you come out from there more positive with your goals and fitness...

LA Fitness

Everyone walks on green area while people are doing exercise. We swallow dusts because of other walker people. They should put signs or something. There is no stretch band. One more cable machine needs here. Not enough others. Employees are friendly

I've been a member at a few gyms in Chicago, this place is top notch.

- it's clean, very clean from each piece of equipment to every inch of the locker room

- state of the art equipment, great workout areas.

- it's big.  I don't wait for equipment and don't have to get off a treadmill in 20 min to give it to someone else.

- ample parking

- nice staff, they're helpful not intrusive.

Overall, great place.

Worth your monthly membership. The gyms in the area are super clean great equipment and with classes. It's great for many fitness levels. The cardio equipment is legit. Doing intervals is a breeze with the open grassy area with kettle bells, TRX straps, jump boxes and more. Lounges are amazing to chill after a workout. Would recommend! An excellent gym!

Gym is clean and has plenty of equipment which is nice but kinda expected for the newly opened gym. The price doesn’t justify the amenities, this la fitness doesn’t have a pool ,no sauna, no any kind of courts (racquetball, basketball etc) like the other LA fitness centers but still charges the same price. Doesn’t matter if you come at 6am or 9pm weights are never racked in their place and sometimes you need to run around finding proper size weights and barbells and dumbbells. Even when there were 10 staff people there they all sit at their desks expecting cleaning crew to recover dumbbells left all around the gym.
I also wish they would enforce a rule of no outside shoes in the gym to prevent dirt spreading around.

New clean gym. People serious about exercise. One star off for :ZERO Kleenex anywhere in sight. Not in the bathroom, not in the locker room, not on the floor. No towels. No sauna, NO steam room, No pool. One more star off because why are the weights in the work out room locked as if someone is going to steal them. I pay to use equipment…
