I buy gas here a lot because it is convenient but I won't be any more after today, I usually eat my breakfast here until the owner I'm assuming told me I could not eat my breakfast there anymore unless I was buying something. Even though I would clean up before and after I would eat everyday, I don't understand why it is a problem if I am minding my own business and cleaning up after myself, what a way to treat customers.... Take the tables out of the gas station then if you are going to treat customers this way because I do buy gas here often but like I said not after today! I am very offended to have been treated so rudely. Just simply pathetic!

Well supposed, clean and very friendly employees, good prices and a better BBQ sandwich than BBQ restaurants 😋

The African American woman on 2nd shift is extremely rude, is always on her phone. She even tried over charging me for cigarettes. When I tried to let her know she refused to give me the correct price. I will be calling and filing a complaint with corporate over this.

This place is awesome! We stop over here on long trips with our little ones. They LOVE it, and we can get food, gas, and snacks for the road all in one place.

Rude cashier!! Bathroom nasty, dirty and un supplied. One toilet was so loose it was like the best ride at Cedar point! When reporting the status of the bathroom cashier said that occasionally happens nothing she can do about it!! Parking lot was also dirty and trash cans displaced and over flowing. Stay Away as well!!

I stopped here just passing through on a Monday morning at 7am. The ladies restroom was absolutely disgusting! Both stalls were out of tissue, one was clogged and the other was covered in urine! I refused to use it. I informed the employee as I was leaving that it needed attention badly. He showed no concern.

I never thought I would ever rate a gas station but here we are.... Anybody thinking about stopping here shouldn't. Just go across the street to Marathon.
First of all, y'all have a terrible cashier (male, middle aged). This guy should not be working in any capacity in the customer service industry. Just plain rude.
The store was in terrible shape, the floors look like they haven't been swept in ages and the bathrooms are even worse.

I stopped going here. It doesn’t look/feel clean, check out folks don’t seem very present or concerned with their work, slow checkout times, and it just doesn’t give the vibe of a safe environment. Nothing in particular -just antsy in my gut when I’m there.

Don't use there tire inflator machine it will charge you card and doesn't work. Walking in and explaining the situation. I was told it was only a 1.50 you lost.

If I could give negative stars, I would.  The people who work here are so rude.  They are the worst I wouldn't give them a dime of my money again if it were the last gas station on the planet.  Came in, said a cheerful hello to cashier.  Black lady.  Ignored me.   I said how's your day.  She rolled her eyes and turned away as soon as my transaction was over.  Horrible.  Will never ever go back.  Thing is. This was not the first time I have experienced rudeness at this station... same cashier, this time she was speaking with another lady behind the counter. They acted like mean girls. Whispering laughing, rude never speaking to customers.

Hate this place.  No reason to br so rude and hateful.

One of the worst gas stations in Lexington. The employees are so rude and they only appear to be nice to the people that live in the apartments across the street.

They never have the receipts loaded in the computers either. Always have to go inside.

I'd rather run out of gas next time than to come here. Rather unfortunate because I live in the area.

I give this a 4 Star because of no soap in both bathrooms. Overall the store was clean and the lady that was working the register that I spoke with about the soap stepped away at that moment and told her coworker she was stepping away and immediately went and got soap for the bathrooms. They were very friendly and professional.

A great place for gas as long as you can get to a pump. Some drivers don't pull up, blocking both pumps and some leave their vehicles for a long time while shopping inside instead of pulling into a parking spot.  Also, watch out for negligent drivers ALWAYS. While stopping for gas one night last December we were nearly in a head-on collision when a driver that was leaving the store decided to whip their vehicle in between the pumps where I was driving so that their kid could dump some garbage (there are garbage cans directly in front of the store as well as by the pumps).

Bought fuel. No issues except sometimes the pumps don't provide receipts.

Dirty looking out side too expensive a place to go when everyone else is closed

This place have check self machine & don't give recipe I ask the woman nice about it and she have bad attitudes and just bc I say I was try cancel my transaction she took my stuff and told me to leave when all ready paid for it so I don't recommend go there

Pumps limited to $75 per transaction which makes filling up a pain. Just a nonsensical thing to do to customers.

Bathroom was nasty, besides that great stop

It's on the corner of a 4 lane hwy. It's a pain trying to get out of the parking lot

This station has the friendliest and most honest associates (clerks) of any station that I have every used in my 57 years. They are very knowledgeable and keep the store very clean and well stocked. It's obvious to me that they have been trained well by a great general manager. Recently I went there to get gas, went in paid for my gas and then my old timers kicked in and I forgot to pump the gas. Many hours later I realized what I had done so I called the station ( and yes they answer there phone) I was surprised that they knew what had happened and told me to return to the station to get the gas I had paid for. Being on disability, I can't afford those kind of mistakes. It was refreshing to know that with no hassle I was able to get what I needed, I am so greatful to the two women that made this possible. So Monticello should be so happy that a station like this is in our hometown. It really is an example of the people of Monticello so please support them and be kind and courteous to them. Thank You

Its a new gas station, and yet you can't pay at the pump, have to go inside. It's also overpriced. Don't go here

It is a nice, new station.  However this seems to be the highest price Shell station in town.   Today, this station sells regular gas for $3.60 per gallon; whereas the Shell less than a mile away on Perkins has it for $3.00, and other Shells are less than that.

Not very friendly to blacks. Eyeballed me down the hold time I was in store . Daughter was on phone she said they had the same experience described the lady same lady. We want be back.

Always clean and the staff are super friendly. And the pizza/chicken is actually good when it's fresh.

The red hair lady is disrespectful and hits on my husband every day he goes in . I’ve tried calling to discuss this issue but they won’t answer. Won’t be back !

Was a customer there for a long time but one of their cashiers Amanda Lovell accused me of a crime I did not commit, I spent close to 1000 bucks or more every month at this store but Manager Bobbie Chavez decided that her untruthful and unprofessional cashiers false allegations we're worth more than my business! I will never step foot in the place again and y'all shouldn't either unless you want ur name and reputation smeared!

This is a great station to stop at to pick up a drink, snack, and fill up if you're heading North on Hwy 31 or about to get on I-65 before Warrior. Its clean, convenient, well-lit, and the attendants are friendly. The Hunts Bros. Pizza place inside is also great and an excellent value. The restroom has always been clean when I've used it.

Their biscuits are amazing, Food on the Deli is always good.  Location is clean and they have friendly great customer service.

Deli was outstanding! Fresh and more options than the typical fried stuff.  We will be back,  for sure.

Old style pumps that don't accept the Shell credit card properly. Staff inside doesn't seem to understand the difference between a regular fuel rewards card and an actual Shell credit card that has fuel rewards on it because they are at two different prices on the discounts. Staff does not seem to know what they're doing to process the credit card.

Absolutely was not impressed.
They need new pumps and better trained staff.

Food is delicious. Chicken fingers, catfish, potato wedges, cheese sticks all great.

Terrible rude staff some of their stuff is cooked a day ago horrible work conditions employees don't get breaks I wouldn't recommend this shell to no one I prefer the chevron across the street

Went to this Shell to use the Kroger fuel points. No problems. However when I looked at the charge card the 39.35 for the fuel purchase was correct. However in addition there was a $200.00 charge that was added to my card. So American Express cancelled the card-will send another one via Fed Ex overnight but this shell station is a ripoff. Imagine how many $200 charges and the interest it makes on illegal charges. Avoid this station like the plague!!!

Only giving one star because I can't give zero. The cook always have attitude and the food isn't good like it used to be. Need new staff. The cashier are fine.
