Walmart Supercenter

Due to improper management, zoning, and loss prevention procedures numerous food and facility safety hazards persist in this store.

Empty product displays are used to fill space where stolen merchandise packaging is discarded and ignored by staff. The staff themselves will regularly open products and mark them on clearance for themselves. Merchandise is regularly primed to be stolen using overstuffed shopping carts with high price point items in plain sight of management and loss prevention.  The thefts are carried out by known, repeat offenders, and this is facilitated by poor hiring standards that promote gang infiltration throughout the store.

This location is a loss leading store and a prime candidate for an inside theft ring organized by a group like the Simon City Royals or Gangsta Disciples. Several of who work throughout different points in the store, and I would assume management.

Overstocked merchandise is strewn haphazardly on carts, at workstations, and on the floor. Bait shrimp are left to rot on the shelves. Freezers regularly malfunction and thaw leading to massive waste and food health concerns. Produce is improperly stored and exposed to fungal and bacterial contamination at the risk of employees and the general public.

Raising concerns and whistleblowing is met with retaliation and immediate firing. There is no functional HR or sincere employee representatives in management.

The General Manager is cruel, inefficient, and creepy. Incapable of taking responsibility for the corrupt environment he has created, he places blame on the employees that he harasses and mistreats. Regularly threatening their livelihoods and targeting them based on hardship. This is a person whose idea of a good work ethic is remembering to iron his silk shirts, jnco jeans, and pretending to be a member of the Deftones.

The Assistant Manager is inept and absolutely clueless about what to do with his hands but eat Michelina's meals with them from a trough like a Captain Planet cartoon villain.

Looking at either of the two you can see that their hardwork and years of experience have culminated in impending Diabetes Type 2, and likely a criminal investigation at some point.

Use to be a nice store but frequently messy- not sure if it's the customers fault or just not enough employees to keep everything clean. They do have the nicest employees.  I hate self checkout and can't stand when they don't have a cash option

Simple, convenient, and easy to navigate super-center  with a wide variety of goods to choose from in various departments. Helpful, friendly staff and a well-organized management team make this one of the "better quality" Walmart stores on the gulf coast. The only suggestion I have, would be to open more register lanes to reduce the backed-up lines at the self-checkout areas. Overall 4/5 stars

The OGP absolutely sucks. Of my 13 items ordered, I received 10. They claimed 2 were unavailable and 1 they charged me for but failed to give it to me. I went into the store and grabbed the 2 items they said weren't available. I'm going to assume the shopper just didn't want to walk to the other side of the store..
As for the $30 bag of dog food I was charged for but never received, I'm waiting for a refund and will have to make another trip back for it.
I rarely do pickup orders, I only did because it was convenient for my situation. Thanks for making it completely inconvenient.

I have been to this location many times and had good experiences and multiple times. The staff always seems friendly and willing to help. Like most walmarts they have a wide variety of just about everything you can think of. This one in particular seems to be a very well stocked. Overall a good experience here.

This was my first time in the Wetumpka Walmart. Stopped through while heading to the casino. I typically frequent the Neighborhood ones but this one was nice, clean, and well stocked.

Loved the convenience of the store and how neat and clean everything was. The employees were professional and helpful.

Hi! It's hard to get my milk out of your  refrigerator. There's NO HANDLE  to open the door. It's been this for a while. Can you fix it, please? Otherwise, I can find what I need no problem. Light on cash register  says we are open.  When I got there, there was no cashier.  I saw two workeres on the other side of the register. I was calling, who's ever line I was in,I figured  they couldn't  see me because I was short.
Then the guy told the girl I was in her line. She still took her time getting to her register.

Came in Sunday afternoon around 2 to buy a present before a birthday party. Waited in line for self checkout while about 15 employees just walked around doing absolutely nothing.

The short burnette white lady who was helping people by the entrance in front of the Mapco side brought another woman in front of us because I'm assuming their machine stopped working. It's fine, I didn't mind, she left and I went up and started scanning because the kiosk became open, the employee  yelled at me that this guy with a buggy full was next after I had waited in line. I said no, I was next in the line and I'm in a hurry. She started arguing then gave me the worst attitude when I was leaving and very snidely told me to have a "beautiful day". I was obviously the next in line and it was already taking way too long because people were having to check themselves out.

If you have this many people walking around maybe throw them on a register so we don't have to have interactions like this one. And maybe don't hire people like her if she hates her job so much. You shouldn't have to make people wait, let alone yell at them for literally no reason.

Went through self checkout. Only had a few items. Used register nearest door so I could be seen. Leaving, I had my receipt visible in hand. The man asked to see my receipt and took it out of my hand.  Didn't even look at it. Handed it back. IF YOU DON'T TRUST US TO SELF CHECK OUT. PLEASE REMOVE SELF SERVICE LINE. I AM FRUSTRATED.

Need to have many more cashiers open.  Nobody wants to wait to pay.  We are not your employees.  We will not use self checkout if we have many items.  There are always employees milling around doing nothing, but don’t open cash registers. Don’t be surprised if customers walk out with full buggies without paying, especially since your greeters do nothing but stand there.  Wise up!

Came to get new tires installed.  Took about three hours.  The person doing the work looked like he had not one care in the world, moving in slow motion .  Three hours.  That's 45 minutes per tire.  Never seen anything like it. Never coming back here for service.

I gave two stars because they were polite but my frustration was that they "can't" sell less than six wings when I only wanted four.. I would have been ok with it if I could have mixed n matched but then they said I couldn't do that either...  also on top of that they were moving really slow for having three people waiting to be asked/served, one lady was attending to the hot food while the other lady didn't look in our direction as she was busy do8ng something and not multitasking.. they need at least one younger person in that area in the daytime to move things along faster and again the lady seemed very polite so this isn't a personal grievance

Absolutely abhorrent the pharmacy will not fill your order unless you harass them. When you order something online for pick up expect  a long wait. I've spent twenty minutes looking for an item as workers are just walking bye. Never asked to help once. If you don't want to have one of the worst shopping experiences in your life don't shophere.

SCO Host was kind and relatable to issue I was having at the time, but other SCO Host just lost in her own little world without directing anyone to open registers - well, she was alright, too. LMAO I've done the job and know how it can be!

Well it's been a resource for merchandise that is convenient, dependable, and the doors are open in times of crisis, providing supplies as needed for our community

They have an insulting AI system as part of their self checkout that constantly wrongly accuses you of trying to steal items. It is an outrage and the height of disrespect for the morons back in Bentonville to subject honest customers to this idiocy.

I ring up the first item and try to bag it, but the bag won't open so I have to get some saliva on my fingers to open the damn bag. Then I put the item in the bag, but now it alerts the associate because it thinks I stole something. Now I have to waste more time waiting for the guy to come over, and when he gets there we both have to watch a playback of a closeup surveillance video of me doing exactly what I described above.

Stop treating honest people like criminals or you will start losing business.

Just ordered almost $200 worth of groceries, I am pregnant and need to use their grocery delivery service. Everything was going great, until my groceries were stolen by the delivery driver “ Gabriella “ all I was given was this photo, for confirmation of my food being “ delivered “  Walmart if refunding me back, but I am considering filing a police report, as this is bizarre behavior by the Walmart staff. Have never had this happened before, and am disgusted by this persons lack of conscience.

I shopped at the store last night for the first time. It was a typical shopping trip except for the fact that the milk section looked like a ghost town. I had to talk to 3 different associates (one of which was a front end manager) before I found someone to help me. A young man named Daniel was working hard quickly stocking the cheese section when I walked over to him. I asked him the same question that I had already asked 2 of his co-workers. "Is there more milk in the cooler that hasn't been put out yet? I know you might not know the answer because that's not your job, could you please tell me who CAN help me?" He didn't ignore me, he didn't walk away, he actually helped me! The best part of the interaction was that he did all of that without without treating me like I was a bother to him. He was very nice and polite. Thank you again Daniel for being the only person willing to help.

I wonder what the owners of great value and or Wallyworld pizza's look like...✌🏻

This Walmart is one of my go-to supermarkets for more than just food. Clean well stocked and carries an amazing array of products which makes shopping there very convenient

I bought this chick peas can on 6/18/2023 ,I opened it today and found two metals inside of the can. This is unacceptable, you have to improve your quality control procedures.
Selling contaminated food isn’t legal this is a public healthy thread.

Their best thing is lower prices. I am trying store brands and finding them generally to be the same quality as Major brands. I took a real chance and bought chicken breasts and various cuts of beef. The chicken was excellent. The ground sirloin was as good as any competitor for choice grade. Not been disappointed with any products. They have a problem keeping some grocery items in stock. They restock constantly so maybe I came on the wrong day for lime Gatorade. Lots of parking. Ground level. Handicapped friendly.

They had the good bottles of water I wanted they were friendly and I was in and out very fast

My roommate and I went there last night to pick up some essentials. Shout out to Jerry who was working in the home section. He saw our lost faces and asked us what we were looking for and knew exactly where to find it. I even went to look for him again after we couldn't find the next items on our list. He was super kind and helpful!

I would like to give a shout out to Charm at Walmart Customer Service on Pima road. She exemplifies what it truly means to provide excellent customer service. She greeted me with a big smile and a kind welcome. I just wanted to say thank you

I really wish pick up was available years ago but I am so thankful it is available now. Having the ability to shop online without the stress of going into the store is game changing! Thank you Walmart associates for all your help. Honestly if this was not available I don't think I would be able to get my shopping done due to my disabilities. It does feel like maybe I spent a little more money doing it this way however, the few extra dollars that I feel like I spent was worth it.

Another well organized department store though I did have a hard time finding the clearance aisle.

I needed to replace a car battery but the automotive department was closed for the evening. Ann at the customer service desk was INCREDIBLY knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. She was able to help me do a warranty swap on the battery and took care of everything I needed. Kudos to Ann! I'd give her a million stars if I could!

Feels bigger than most Walmart locations, self checkout on both sides.

Came here to spend my Butterball gift check I received from work(a check I can spend on any food items in the store......) and the employee checking me out took forever and couldn't figure out how to charge it. Brought a manager and he couldn't either. Get some smart employees Walmart. You need to step your game up at this store!

Recently, I purchased the wrong glucose monitoring strips mistakenly for my diabetic meter. Remind you there are no policies listed by the diabetic meters and strips of no exchanges or refunds. Because Walmart were out of stock with my right strips. I thought to just buy the meter that goes with the strips so I wouldn’t waste money and I got the meter that was by the strips that I purchased. How about that meter didn’t go with the strips and they don’t sell the meter in stores at all that go with the strips I purchased (they both have the same colored meter and strips). Now if anyone knows a thing or two about diabetes you know that the disease causes vision difficulties. I don’t understand why these products were by each other in the first place. Now I’m stuck with a meter and strips that I can’t use because of poor stocking and management of policies.

I had ordered some items from Walmart to be delivered. Unfortunately some items were missing. I called and reported the missing items/item and they sent someone out to bring them but instead brought me another pack of toilet paper so I never had my diner!!  They need to do better even if they have to recheck 3 times

Our visit was a complete and total disaster. Saturday night we were out of town for my sister's wedding and we had a flat. We were going to get new tires anyway so we call Walmart and set up an appointment to get 4 new tires on Sunday. We are 300 miles from home.

We arrive a few minutes early, get signed in and go do some shopping while we wait. Then go sit in the waiting area. 2 hours past the time we are supposed to be done, our car is still just sitting there. So I asked the person at the desk what was happening, she went and asked the guy in charge. They told her that because we got there a few minutes early it had messed up their timing. Getting there a few minutes early. That was what caused us to be there  for 4 early.

So, why did I give it 5 stars. The employees and the waiting room. The staff, except for the technician who did the work, were courteous and trying to be helpful. The waiting area was clean and very comfortable (big easy chairs for 6 people).

In closing, the technician and the work flow was terrible. Waiting for 4 hours to get 4 tires done was ridiculous. But the rest of the staff and the waiting area kept it from being a disaster.

As usual for Walmart, very poor customer service, let's face it, y'all, if it wasn't for the prices, no one would go there. I have had 3 different interactions with the same manager by happenstance, and all 3 were not positive. Maybe he doesn't like me, and I always keep things professional. Also, really no change with the employees. They act as though they hate to interact with you, and believe me, it is a last resort when I do. I'm sure Sam Walton would not approve, but he's dead and gone. I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels this way. Also we all know type of way of doing business propagates from the top down it is very apparent.

super busy as usual for this time of year. 8p.m.on a Sunday, and only self checkout was open that i could see. With that being said, the two employees that were working the self checkout lines were very busy, friendly, and yet still helpful.

Staff soooo awesome & helpful when my service dog needed service.
Meds, toys, nail clips, leftovers that instead of throwing it in the trash (I'm disabled & poor fur baby/Nero service dog needed special care 4 10days ) gave the chicken 2 him instead.
Ever1 saw how sick he was, how much pain I was in pushing my service dog in a Walmart shopping cart. I would always go 2 the Walmart in arizona on country club & baseline they went out of there way 2 help when they didn't have 2

Not enough staff. They had 2 registers open at 8:30pm on a Thursday before a holiday weekend. So lines were literally 7 or 8 deep. ... Friendly cashier and workers, though, which goes a long way.

If I could I would give them 0 stars. Not long ago I made a complaint about the auto care department. We were mistreated really bad by employees, since  then, they can never provide us service, there's always something wrong, but we go to the other oneone further from us and the service is provided without anyissues.

Hard to find things in  this store and asking workers don’t help , but good store to stop at and shop real quick . It’s better than the really big Walmarts . Would rather go to this one than the big ones. Plus if you don’t mind things being in places where you wouldn’t think it would be it’s not that bad . Just my opinion good store to shop at overall just needs some improvement on location

I enjoy coming to this location because they're really nice and clean. Of course, it's close, but other locations aren't that far away. I'm really impressed with curbside pick-up.  I just tried it this month, and im in love. The few times I used you all, it was pleasant.

The cashier and team lead in the tire center were amazing! I accidentally left my debit card at home, they were so understanding. They figured out how I could pay for my oil change using WalmartPay. Without their help i would have been waiting 1.5 hours for someone to come help me. They were such a huge help today!!

Well stocked and almost always has what I'm looking for. I have found that this Walmart is definitely superior compared to some. It is spacious, less crowded, well maintained, and easy to navigate. There are a few things that I get almost every trip that have ran out, but when this happensvits often restocked in less than a week. The bathrooms are one thing that could definitely use some tending too, but that's my only complaint so far. Enjoy these pictures of things you might not know Walmart carries 😊

Asked 5 employees for help. Get told to 'ask someone else'...walk to customer service. I'll meet you there after I help another customer wait 5 minutes. No one shows up.

Update: Walked back to Customer Service they use the intercom this time. By the time I walk back. The person who responded to the intercom call was turning to walk away...

Here's the proof! They would not allow me to exchange a broken cast iron pot yesterday. I left the piece of junk at customer service.  I went back 24 hours later to see if they just restocked it. The damaged item is back on the shelf to sell to someone else. What a shady business practice. I told the manager this is mine and I would like to take it back. He told me I was correct and walked me to the front of the store.

Dede,  the customer rep over the return counter in this store has been horrible with her customer service experience.  This is the second time I am turned down by her. Last time, she threw away my return receipt and my bill instead of giving it to me. This time , she refused to accept the chocolate box unopened because I didn't have the receipt. It was within 90 day return policy and she refused to give me a walmart gift card. The chocolate box was unopened and just around 35 days of purchase.

Very sad to see walmart hiring such unprofessional people in the stores. I give a bad rating for Dede , which she said is her name a bad rating for her overall handling of things at this store over the return counter.
