I go here all the time It almost always has everything I need and the service is great too.

Nice location and the staff is very kind. It is well kept most of the time and has a good selection of products.

Convenient location but sometimes their machines can be very slow. Like, slower than slow. Overall it’s safe neighborhood and decent inside so I will go here but if not in a hurry I’ll go down the road a bit to Casey’s- plus, more variety in gas at Casey’s.

Thieves! They stole my card info and charged my card for $120. Even if i bought a full tank of gas $60, a pop $2, and a bottle of Titos $20, my bill would never have been that high. Working with police and my bank to bring charges.

How to begin, I have no idea who is running this place anymore but that older lady in the am with the short hair and glasses is rude as rude can be. No patience, no idea what customer service means & etc. I can’t believe she is still there and no one else has complained about her yet or if they have why(?)is she still there. Heavy set lady begs for change and shots and seems to be whacked out all the time. The ladies who do chicken are NEVER clean looking and the chicken taste/smells like it’s been sitting out all day. The tall skinny man is a joke he plays several different roles to whoever he is talking to and then turns around and complains about that person after they leave heard him many times. Older lady with long hair seems pretty nice she’s just short on patience sometimes. Lady with short black hair, lady with bun and the big built guy are super nice. You always see those 3 go the extra effort for us. I’ve been secretly shopping here for 5.5 months now to get a good review and not a happy with my findings. If their was enough space write my full review I would be glad to. The mean(understatement)older lady and the chicken ruined it big time personally. The only reason I keep going if I absolutely must is the two lovely ladies and the big built guy. I always hope they are working if I have to stop their. Store in a whole itself is falling apart, bathrooms are halfway decent but have been nasty a lot lately, store + not handicapped accessible at all. This place is a joke minus a few good people. Gas pumps are slow and cc machines work 30% of the time outside and you can’t read the screen. They charge you a buck for a cheap mask, if you don’t have one you get yelled at like screened at once by this tall lady with long hair. I was completely shocked she was allowed to act like that as an employee. Prices keep getting higher and they are already high priced enough almost double other places. If you can stay away. I used to frequent their quite a bit before I decided to take this task of a review and the changes going on are not for the better and clearly visible. Time to change for the good. Sometimes no change is not a bad thing. Your changing the wrong things. Fix the store, fix the chicken (fresh), fix the pumps, fix the bad employees, then people would come back.

The gas nozzle was was busted and did not shut off while i was filling up my car and by the time I looked up and saw gas pouring our if my car charged me $58 for gas that poured all over the ground and then then girl working told me they can't refund me. This is not right it only takes $37 to fill up my car. I will never fill up my car here again and I have been a customer for over a year.

I like shell because I like the gas and how it keeps my car running. What I don’t like is the owner decides to open whenever he Jolly well feels like it. So if you need to go get gas at 7:15 or 7:30 in the morning it will not be open and the pumps will not be working. That’s the only reason I gave it two stars. If he would do what he’s supposed to he might’ve gotten a five.

Station was closed when posted hours showed it as open.  Google also stated it was open.

I like the Shell gas, it gives me more mileage on my car.

The most disgusting gas station I've visited. A very aged sign on the door said that the toilets are out of order, and directed you to a bank of 4 overflowing Porta potties out back. It's clear that they do not want you to use their toilets. My mother wanted coffee and said the store was too gross for her to want to buy it there. Skip this station and head to one of the other two stations instead.

Passing through, stopped for gas and use restroom. Sign on door said restrooms were broke and to use port a potty outside. Those were disgustingly dirty & looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a long while. Gas station had usual snacks, some deli foods and an older female clerk who watched you from the time you walk in till you walk out. If stopping for restroom go somewhere else!

There is an older woman that works at your store in the evenings. She is extremely rude to us every time we visit. We have been overcharged, refused sales and talked to horribly. Being local and owning a small business in this county, I spend as much as $2,000 a month on gas and other purchases at Shell. I’m now giving my business to Sinclair.

Gas stations in Fairplay are universally, not impressive.  This one is consistent with that mediocrity.  You can get snacks and drinks but selection is poor, the building is old and outdated and it's quite tight as well.  If you just need stuff, it's fine but it certainly ranks (like all its competition) on the lower end of acceptable.

Some rude staff; the food is not great but its not that pricey

I left my phone in the bathroom. I got to Georgetown before I missed my phone. I called and Corina said she had my phone. I drove back and she had it for me. I wish now I would have given her a reward for her honesty. She deserves a raise a d or a promotion. Thank you Corinaa. You saved my vacation.

This location is very nice. We had no issue with using the gas pumps or payments. The store also had everything we were searching for.

Gas price is advertised as $1 cheaper than anywhere else in town but they're out of gas. I'm reporting this behavior to corporate. Attendant on duty refused to address the issue in any way when confronted about this false advertising.

Honestly I wouldn't even give the Shell station one star but I had to give him something. The Shell gas station has private bathrooms you have to be a paying customer to use the bathroom and they do lock their doors. Their gas is way overpriced you're better off going right down the road either way go to a 7-Eleven or go to City Market their gas is a lot cheaper and better.

I have never been treated so rudly. Stopped to get gas and use the restroom. The owner was at the counter and I see trash cans in front of the door to the bathroom??? I asked about the bathroom and was told "they are closed, to many people use them and it brings to many people into the store" i asked why he would do this and he just looked away. I told him it was wrong to rum a gas station and not offer bathrooms. I was not at all rude but as I was leaving I was told "go sh*t someplace else" well so glad my wife was having trouble with the pump. We left and went 1 block away and where treated so much better. Go to Conoco!!! Its right down the street and will not curse at you and treat people like humans.

Dollar General

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the new Dollar General location near me, and I must say, it's a game-changer for our community. This store has brought a breath of fresh air to our neighborhood, and I couldn't be more impressed.

First and foremost, the store's layout and organization are impeccable. It's clean, well-lit, and everything is easy to find. The staff is friendly and always willing to assist, which makes the shopping experience even more enjoyable.

One thing I'd like to see in the future is the addition of a produce section. With the exceptional quality and value that Dollar General provides, having fresh fruits and vegetables readily available would be a fantastic addition for health-conscious shoppers like myself.

Overall, the new Dollar General has quickly become my go-to store. It's a one-stop shop for a wide variety of products, and I can't wait to see how it continues to evolve. I'm optimistic that the addition of a produce section would make it even more outstanding. Great job, Dollar General!

The staff here are always willing to lend a helping hand. Kind and respectful employees. They all deserve a raise. I've seen at times there be only one employee there and on the clock and they were checking in their Coca-Cola order, Fritos order, dealing with a line of customers, answering the phone and getting the back open for a trucker to make a delivery. Those workers do the best they can do.

They don't put stuff in the right spot. So when you think you're buying a 1.dollar item it is a Really 3 dollars. When you bring it to their attention  they get an attitude with you.

I still give Heather good reviews because she's amazing at customer service. However, tonight on December 29th around 6:30 the female old cashier was kind of rude. Even took her phone out and would not be conversational at all.
Yall don't need people like that there.

Love going to my town store 😀I met  this really nice young lady that worked really hard putting up stuck on shelves, I was impressed by the speed I said to her that's the way it's done! She smiled and said can I help you find something? I said yes!! I see you out of Awesome she looked and said I'm sorry, not second later she said wait I got some up on the very top shelf I said AWESOME 😉 she handed me a big bottle, just what I wanted thank you. I also needed some other things she helped me with, I go to DG at least once a week, don't think I have seen her before, if she was maybe I just came in at different times.  Her name is Taylor and she is very polite, helpful to the customer Thank you 😊

Nice c-store with everything available from pop, beer, liquor, tobacco. Great customer service. Very friendly cashiers. It's the best.

Like the store. But when I looked up tines they are open , I found one ace that says 24 hrs. Snd another one 7:30am to 4:30pm. Kinda confusing ....

They got new management a lot of  disposable Vape and a lot smoking products so many kinds of liquor and other things cheap prices and friendly staff.

The absolute rudest most unfriendly clerk ever.  She has the personality of a dead person.  Don't bother her for ice if it's out she is too busy to help.

It's a gas station,Google.Quit asking me if live music and unisex bathrooms are offered here.

Nice place to stop. Very considerate owners. I’ve heard they are supportive to Veterans, which is really nice because some people take advantage of disabled Vets and grossly inflate costs just because they know they can take advantage of disabled combat vets when they’re at the lowest point in their lives. Seriously, I’ve seen other store owners laugh and mock Vets and then act indignant when called out about it, very disrespectful and entitled people. That’s not the case here. I’ve personally witnessed this grocery store’s owners treat those who are lesser than them with grace, kindness, compassion, and respect. Also! Very nice, fancy carpets in this location. I heard a rumor that they were bought by someone’s rich family members but then I was told that actually that’s a misunderstanding and there are no rich benefactors involved. Very confusing how these stories get going! I think it’s great that people are working hard, scraping by, and still managing to upgrade this location with extra high quality items. As a single mom myself who recently lost every penny and every earthly possession in a nasty divorce, I can really appreciate business owners who invest their hard earned money into quality items like rubber mats for their customers to walk on.

Don't bother calling. Apparently the phone is there for decoration only, or maybe they keep it on vibrate and get their jollies. I called 50 times in a row, no answer. So I guess I have to waste MY time to drive down to see if they have what I need since of course, their time is more important than my time.

Traveling on our road trip cross-country we came across a lot of Shell stations and overall they were some of the cleanest. I like that we can use our grocery store gas points at Shell.

Avoid this place at all cost! Owner was very hostile and threatening about throwing away one small bag of trash that we picked up at a state park to help out the Colorado community. I had to worn him to not approach my car with my 3 year old in the back seat. He had no mask on and was way to close for comfort. He threatened to call the cops even though my husband kindly said he would get the trash out no problem. What a bully.........
