Needed a new auto repair shop I could trust. I read reviews online, but knew it would be better to go in person. I made my appointment online for an oil change and for them to look at my brakes. They were quick, explained everything and answered my questions. I look forward to coming back.

Midas on Ingersoll has been my go-to for oil changes they also include a tire rotation and fluid top off with every change. Never had problems and recommend them highly!

Very friendly and knowledgeable. Called me with suggestions for 100,000 mile maintenance. Was not pushy. I gave my OK and was taken care of same day.

I don't usually like giving kudos for a job done right because it should be expected. but that is rare now so it appears above and beyond. The window of the waiting area you can see basically everything, which I saw them actually be thorough in the process not skipping out which I have experienced in other shops to find out later it would have been beneficial.

They were also very friendly and let me know the status of everything they checked without trying to pressure me to do anything more than I had to.

I've been coming here for many years for routine stuff and always had great service. Josh, the manager is always nice and on point. got an oil change within 15 minutes this time (just call ahead in case they get busy)

Minor Wreck Express

I had an awesome experience at Minor Wreck Express. They were able to give me a quote to fix my pickup via online submission form - provided pics of the front bumper area that was smashed. Quote was provided in a very timely manner, the estimator (Steve) was very polite when he called to clarify the damages and what needed fixed - quote process very easy. When I called back to schedule service Steve had already made sure that they could secure a bumper for my truck. Scheduled very quickly and the turn around time wasn't bad either (3-4 days). When I called to check on my truck the receptionist was also very friendly. I'm not very knowledgeable on vehicles and they made sure all of my questions and concerns were covered. Excellent service, truck looks great and everything is in working order - they even cleaned it up before returning it to me and I haven't seen my truck that clean in a while! Would definitely recommend to anyone.

I had a deer jump from the ditch on a back highway and it smoked my box side mid air. Pushed it in right on a body line and popped some paint due to an internal bracket. The team at Minor Wreck Express did a phenomenal job repairing it, to the point that you'd never be able to tell it was damaged. They were constantly in contact, keeping me updated by email through the whole process.
They completed this repair in a timely manner, especially for the amount of labor involved. Paint, clear, and buff job is excellent. One happy customer here!

Great job and totally stress-free. I had a couple DEEP door dings that I couldn’t imagine them being fixable but I was SHOCKED at how great it looked when they were done! I’ll be back again, I’m sure!

I have been going to Minor Wreck Express for years and they always go above and beyond. Dave Husky, the owner, is incredibly helpful and knowledgeable when it comes to all things car related. My truck had been in need of repair multiple times (anything from a small dent, to having all of my windows, mirror, and doors busted on one side). They were helpful in sealing up my windows while I was in transit, offering fast service when all of the parts were in, and providing flawless results. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone if you're looking for a great experience.

Had two small scrapes on the same fender touched-up as a test run of their quality-of-work, and had I been pleased with the results, would have moved forward with a full respray of the panel. The touch-up application is truly slapdash, and neither the work itself nor the excuses offered after the fact inspire any confidence about their capability to complete a repair that demands even greater care and attention to detail.

I started come here for oil change about couple months ago and I like this shop a lot. They do a great job and free inspection on my car. Cody, the front desk gentleman is doing a great job!

Steve and his team are simply the best. They have worked on multiple types of my family's vehicles for over 20 years. There has NEVER been a bad experience.
Three years ago, we moved out of state, but would come to Des Moines to visit periodically throughout the year. I would wait until I was back and Steve would find the time to get me in.
You will not find a more reputable auto repair location and team than Steve's Midas group.

I went to Midas as no one had time to fix my tire. Cody was kind enough to come look at it and advise it needed replaced. While he didn't have time the shop was so nice to offer to put my spare on. I appreciate the assistance and kindness!

I regularly go here for my cars. Steve, Cody, and the crew is watched when it comes to customer service and quality. It truly feels like a family every time I walk in. I have been with Midas for 23+ years and I can say they are absolutely the best team between Steve and Dan! Dan has always been honest when it comes to work he does and he is meticulous when it comes to his craftsmanship.  He takes pride in his dedication to the customer and does so with a smile every time. I have grown to have a relationship sharing our family stories back and forth to the point I consider them part of my family.  I will continue to support these awesome guys - for as long as they are around and after!  They truly deserve the world for all they do and especially what they have done for me way back when I was a 16 year old young girl who didn’t know anything.

Scotty’s is always amazing! They have done work on several of our vehicles at both of their locations over the years and they never disappoint! They make the process easy from step one, deal with the insurance company so you don’t have to and get your vehicle back to its original condition quickly and beautifully. Their excellent service continues with the ability to leave your rental car there and they will take care of the return for you. The detail they do on the interior of your car after every service is a nice touch as well. A plus service again, and we will be back if the need arises again!

Had the front assembly replaced and repaired and they went above and beyond. Took out a dent in the back without me asking to have it done. Dropped it off for vacation and came back into town and they had it completed in perfect time! Great communication and exceeded my expectations ! Stress free

Amazing experience - called in the evening to fix a broken tail light, and they scheduled me the next morning. Got a call an hour after dropping off my truck, and it was ready for pick up! Super friendly staff and very reasonably priced!

I was extremely happy with these guys! Mr. Scotty and his team are like a family-owned business, and everyone is very friendly and helpful. My car was in an accident, but the experience afterwards was very rewarding and they took very good care of my vehicle :) It was so well-done that it didn't even look like it was in an accident at all! We took our 2012 ram truck to Scotty's to have repairs done do to somebody stealing our vehicle. Kim Dave and all others from Scotty's have been awesome. The body guys there are second to none thank you so much for the great work and QuickTime.

I want to start off by saying that I had a flawless experience with Scotty's on University. I had damage done to my front end bumper that was still lingering from the Derecho storm and from a family member accidentally side swiping me.

When I dropped off my car Scotty's had my rental car and everything ready for a smooth transition. Then the work was done extremely quickly and I was back into my car in under a week.

Lastly, the car was detailed inside and out. I mean look at how good my car looks! You can see your own reflection!! Ask for Rob and he will take care of you from beginning to end.

Caliber Collision

Completely exceeded my expectations, I went in for a first time repair on my back passenger door and first time dealing with an insurance claim, they helped me through it all in a very easy to understand way. The text updates had me completely in the loop with what they were doing, and when it would be ready. When I came to pick up my car it was absolutely sparkling with the interior cleaned and vacuumed. I left the inside an absolute disaster as I was in the middle of moving and they bagged up any trash, folded all of my clothes into a box, and placed it nicely in the trunk! That was absolutely unexpected and was above and beyond service.

Staff was amazing! We were updated with the progress. My vehicle was done before scheduled to be done. My vehicle was cleaned inside and out when returned. Would recommend for repairs! Amazing work! Thank you!!

They were great to work with and they made it very easy to get my car repaired.   They have great communication about your vehicle to keep you up to date on when you can expect your vehicle back.

Stopped by to have a scratch on my truck bed side  looked at I talked with Stevie he wanted to take it back to see how bad it was a few moments later after waiting in their clean and comfortable waiting area he was able to remove scratch at a very decent price! Action Auto Body, LLC

Chad is amazing, super knowledgeable and very helpful. He is super thorough in his explanations and his work is very detailed. Very honest. Also communication is timely and top notch. Everyone in the office is super professional, very friendly and accommodating. I felt cared for and felt like my car is in good hands. From now on, if i need any auto body work done, I will come to Chad and his team at Action Auto Body. Also moving forward, I will ask Honda to send me here if they need to arrange any auto body work that is covered under warranty.

The staff at Action Auto Body has got it figured out, folks.  Lisa set up the rental vehicle, Chad sent photos detailing all progress, and I received updates throughout the repair process.  The quality of the workmanship was second-to-none!  All businesses could take a lesson on how to effectively communicate from the team at Action Auto Body.  When I picked up the car, I was able to simply drop off the rental vehicle, get into my car, and go!  While I’d rather not make a habit of frequenting auto body shops, I’m sold on Action should the need arise in the future.  DM people: stay LOCAL and support this business!

They did a great job at making sure all the damage was covered and then repaired it in a timely manner. They went above and beyond in explaining things to me and keeping me informed during the process. They were helpful in making sure I got my rental car figured out and even helped getting it returned. When I got my car back it was cleaned on the inside and out which was unexpected. All the staff there was courteous and helpful.

I had my BMW done here. Excellent service. They could give you the option for work to be done depending on your budget. Very quality OCD work; I love how it came out. Worth every pretty penny

Ted's recently re-painted much of my car, and removed numerous rock chips and other imperfections.  KC and his staff were great to work with - they were patient, friendly, communicated well, and overall professional.  Their final work on my car was excellent. I highly recommend Ted's if your car requires body work and painting.

Addendum - Ted's completed additional repairs other than the above, about 2 months later, to my car.  Once again, their work was top-notch and of very high quality.  The staff, including KC, were professional and pleasant to work with.
