McDonald's

I almost always do the drive thru. Usually, the line here moves very quickly. My order has been correct 9 times out of ten. I would choose this location over any other in Dover,DE.

Standard McDonald's experience. I don't blame them though because when I visited, it was a very busy labor day weekend. But I feel that I wasn't listened to when I ordered. They didn't get my order for my burgers and then they also didn't listen to which sauces I wanted with my nuggets. It's not a big deal, but annoying to have to park and go back in to correct it.

This is an updated review; I don't know what the hell is going on, but lately the food and drinks have been going down hill. I just picked up my food and one of my burgers, was not cooked all the way, like I needed to put it in the oven to cook more before I could eat it. The drinks tasted off, like there isn't any syrup in the sodas, tea taste bland or old, and the fries definitely taste old or cold more often now. Also I don't know if this is policy or not, to give customers old burgers, burgers that were made awhile in the day then served later, cause that has also happened more than once. This also seems to be happening a lot during the night time; I get it, stuff happens, but I just want a damn burger that is cooked fresh with fries that at least don't taste over 6 hours old, or drink a tea or soda that has been sitting or not changed. If things get better, I'll edit my review again.

I order a Filet O Fish, 6 pcs nugget, and a small fry. The Filet O Fish had no cheese and they used double cheese burger buns. The 6pc nugget came with FOUR NUGGETS and 3 sauces. I guess that makes sense. As a cherry on top, the fries had zero salt. This used to be the good McDonalds.

went inside stood 10 nobody waited on me,went home and ordered through Door Dash food arrived 45 minutes later and everything was cold. driver waited 20 for food after seeing it sitting ready

First time in this McDonald's location, since it is fairly new. The restaurant was clean and very modern. It had a few kiosk stations as you enter. The lady taking our order was friendly. We were given a number and told they would bring the food. Shortly after taking our seats they brought our food. The food was good and freshly made. The only issue with this location, was contrary to all other McDonald's I've been to, this one does not have the beverage station available to customers. Drinks are done behind the couter.

First time eating at this McDonald’s.
I ordered the steak egg cheese bagel.  They were out of bagels but the staff persona helped recommend an alternative to the bagel.  It was even better and plan to change out the bagel every time now.

Both my husband and I ordered breakfast here he got a sausage mcgriddle and i got an egg mcmuffin. BOTH OF OUR SANDWICHES HAD BURGER MEAT IN THEM!!! 🤢🤢🤢 not once did they tell us they were out of breakfast meat or anything!! Just slapped two burger patties in our breakfast sandwich and called it a day. And to make matters worse, we contacted regional manager Mr.J Holthaus and not only did he say it was impossible they could do this(didn’t believe us until we sent the picture) he then retracted said he would offer us coupons in the mail. We asked for a refund and its been THREE TIMES and well over a month now reaching out to him and still no refund or anything!!!!! Last time reaching out he said there will be something in the mail by Monday. It is now Thursday and still nothing. Horrible service inside the store and out. We just want our refund!!!

On a good slow day, they're good.
When it's too busy, crowded, and has a lot of traffic you can forget having a good experience. I'm not sure what happened but management & employees both aren't very good at customer service.
I've had multiple orders end up wrong. I've had employees end up getting snarky and rude.
I'm aware it's just a McDonald's after all & it's not like a sit down restaurant. It's fast food. But even so, you shouldn't be waiting on an order for longer than 20-30 minutes. You shouldn't be waiting for a mess up multiple times on food that's listed in the receipt how it's wanted to be done. You shouldn't have employees and mangers treat you poorly for having the audacity to have an order fixed.
Maybe they'll be good again but they've gone down hill fairly quickly. If you want a good McDonald's, it's not this one.

As always I rate fast food restaurants on QSC. Quality, service and cleanliness. This location  definitely scores high marks on all three. The dining area and kitchen were both immaculate.  Service was great. The food was fresh and didn't taste like it had spent half the morning in the holding cabinet. Great experience.

Cafe was clean and modern. Looked like it was recently remodeled, or a newer Cafe. We used the order kiosk and our food was brought to are table. The server was nice. Food was good. The restaurant is located right off Dupont Hwy and easily accessible. Outside is nice and clean as well. Nice country scenery all around.

Just went thru the drive thru and tried to add to sweet teas to my order and was told I couldn't add but I was able to add two more burritos. They customer service was bad the manager is who told me I couldn't add my drinks. I'm calling corporate I didn't get no receipt

Just horrible. As i payed through the drive thru…i had stopped to put my change in my purse. And this lady proceeds to scream at me through the windows as if i don’t know that i need to get my food. Mind this. There wasn’t even anyone behind me. Then as i got to the window they haven’t even done my order and i over heard her say “give her whatever” these are the type of people who needs to be fire or not get hired. Whoever is manager needs to check the cameras and get their employees together. If you can’t do customer service. Stay home.

McDonalds was the delicious place I had for lunch. *They made a little mistake with my order that I got for lunch.* I was supposed to get two Cheeseburgers with just ketchup. Instead they made my 2Cheeseburger meals with just one cheeseburger with just ketchup and my other cheeseburger with pickles and onions. But so far it’s still the best place I e ever eaten.

Just reduced my rating to 1 star. I still have not heard from the owners/management of this location. Customer service is not a priority for this location. I wrote to the owner and got no response. Another reason, I ride past this location without stopping.

Ordered a fish sandwich,  2 pies and large French fries (hot). The fries were hot, but tasted like they had been sitting for hours. I specifically asked for hot fries. Maybe, I should have also specified fresh. This location continues to disappoint me. I hadn't been in awhile so I decided to give them a try. Big Mistake. Avoid them if you have other options.

First Review - several months ago.

We stopped at McDonald's in Harrington, Delaware tonight, and my wife  ordered a smoothie. When the employee passed the smoothie through the window, my wife jokingly commented that she was being cheated out of some of the product. The cup was 3/4 filled. The young man apologized and went to add more product to the cup. Apparently, he was intercepted by someone in the business. He returned with the same cup and said that this was the correct amount of product.
I want to commend the young man for trying to do the right thing. Apparently, someone else in management thought he was not, and sent him back with the same unfilled cup. Some folks don't need to be managers or supervisors. I won't be visiting this location anytime soon.  We took pictures, and may send them to the owner of the business.

I  also sent my concern to the owner of the restaurant. Neither the restaurant, nor the owners have responded to me. Apparently, customer concerns aren't important to them. It makes you wonder, what other areas of the business is not receiving the required attention. What ever happened to customer service?

One of my orders was not correct but made hot and fresh along with the rest of my food.

When entering the establishment regarding the mix up, the problem was handled with care and quickness.
The store manager was very respectful and the other manager/women took care of business getting my order corrected.

The establishment was very clean from what I saw compared to other locations.

For this establishment to be mainly minorities, there work ethic and structure is untouchable.

Breakfast egg Mcmuffin no cheese Mgr said we are busy she must have forgotten. No renedy. Next day lunch. Drive thru request "Hot Fresh Fries please" Thet were warm at best. They did provide hot fries but had to wait further

Came in and waited for a half hour for chicken nuggets and a quarter pounder. Finally got order and they forgot a nugget. That was all fine, told the counter worker for my nuggets. Manager came over and snapped that I should have told someone. I had told someone. She was just nasty.

Decidedly, I would not do McDonald's new crispy chicken sandwich again! McDonald's employees don't take any pride in their work! A picture says 1000 words!!! I asked the cashier to make me a fresh sandwich and these are the pictures to depict what McDonald's is serving. I'm being generous giving them 2-stars!! 👎🏼🤷🏻‍♂️ 🙄

This was the BEST fast food I have had in years. It was like it used to be years ago. It actually even looked like the pictures. The Quartier Pounder with cheese that I had was steaming hot like it just came off the grill, and the wife's hamburgers were as well. The burgers were juicy and delicious. Our fries were steaming hot, and the staff were courteous and professional. We were there at 8:30 pm so I was expecting dried out burgers and lukewarm fries but I am here to tell you it was the most pleasant experience I have had since the 80's. The staff from Wednesday night is to be commended.

I loved this place!! It was overall very clean! I liked the atmosphere and how I was greeted by their employees!!! This will be my fast food stop forever! Whoever made my food, give that man a raise. The food was cooked to perfection!!!!!

You need to teach the help that a happy meal comes w a drink that is already paid for! The girl yesterday asked the kids would you like a small or medium drink. I said their meal comes w a drink. She said I know - then why are you asking what size. I’m suppose to. No… the meal comes w a drink you don’t add another drink to it. Got the receipt - she had charged for 2 small drinks. She said is something wrong? Yes you charged for too many drinks. She was insistent she didn’t. There was no manger around. She was NOT the sharpest tool in the toolbox! She swore she did it correctly. She was so “dumb” that I ordered sweet tea lemonade and she swore they never had that. I said I’ve ordered it a few times here. Impossible BUT she’d give me lemon. She didn’t AND the tea was empty ALL day! Yes she was informed but she couldn’t comprehend that the tea doesn’t come from the machine. She kept saying you can go over there and get what you want. The tea is empty…..she just repeated you can get whatever u want over there. SMH! She was so new she squeaked and still had her price tag on her! I sat down and figured up everything we had gotten - she had not only charged us for 2 small drinks but she forgot to charge us for a large drink I had ordered but got the cup for. I gave up on her. You guys are so great that more then once you’ve said don’t dig for that 5 cents… but she’s going to get ahold of the wrong person one day and they’ll be a lot of shouting! I witnessed that at Milford McDonald’s months ago. ALL the customer did was ask for her cup and the manager behind her back made fun of her while her boyfriend was standing there. A fight ensued - not fun! The manager was 100% wrong and she set a bad example for the employees.

I recommend visiting in the early evening. The food was way better yesterday when it was 7 pm vs today when it was 2 pm

You know what you're getting when you go to McDonald's. Very consistent food and service. I found this one to be clean and well kept.

The staff seemed disorganized. I waited at the drive-thru speaker for awhile and was never greeted. I thought it was closed. I drove around and saw they were open, so I had to drive back around to the speaker. The cashier gave me the wrong receipt, and a girl at the 2nd window caught it. The manager on duty was disheveled and was putting her fingers inside cups to place them in the automatic soda dispenser. She gave me the wrong drink, and when I brought it to her attention, she didn't say a word, and her expression showed she seemed annoyed I even brought it up. She finally gave me the correct drink and when I tried to hand her the wrong drink, she motioned with her hands that she wasn't going to take it back. I told her I didn't want it because it was the wrong drink, and she finally spoke - "I can't take it back." Really? You can't even take it back from me to throw away? My wife said some places do that because it's considered contaminated. I found that ironic, considering she was putting her fingers in clean cups to add them to the dispenser. I'm never going back to this location. At least my sandwich was hot.

Today, I put in an order for a Big Mac and fries for the eagles day deal. Somehow, I messed it up and I took off the deal. When I arrived, I only received the fries and then the only way to fix it is with the specific location. I called and explained the situation… she did sound frustrated, but it also was 6pm and she ultimately said to come back in and get the Big Mac. I went back in to grab the sandwich … cashier was nice and understanding , the manager again looked visibly frustrated. The manager told the cashier to give me the sandwich, which she did. I apologized to her and her manager for any inconvenience I caused. I left after that with no further incident. My thoughts on the situation is that the manger should do better at keeping a poker face. If this  would have been in my eyes a bad experience, i would have never came back. Her prompt thinking is the reason I will continue to spend my money there. The workers are polite and I always get my food fast.

I just got my food and I got a number 7 meal and when I ate my burger there was big mac sauce all of the side of the wrapper and all over the burger and I hate bic mac sauce and I had 2 burgers not big macs so the servers didn't do there job correctly 2 times

It's a McDonalds, so no difference in food from the next chain. Staff was working, but the interactions I did have were decent enough. They made me a ice mocha coffee instead of just a ice mocha, but got the two shots of espresso in, no dome lid.

Went in for coffee and fries, the fries were definitely sitting for a little but still warm. I really think every McDonald's employee needs to be trained better on their coffee drinks. It's a problem no matter what one your at.

Facility was clean and brand new as well.

Just to be clear. I have never written a review for a fast food restaurant in my life, but after working 11 hours and then being at the gym for another 2 I was very hungry and tired.

Got there about 9:30, was greeted by a nice guy at the window and that was about the last good experience. I ordered a double quarter pounder meal plain. I was told to park around to the waiting area for the drive through (which is common when ordering this) so i expected that. I didn’t receive my food until 10:10, wasn’t apologized to for the wait, nothing. I was perfectly calm and nice during the entire waiting period. I get home, open the food, and the order is not correct and cold. The burger was not plain, which i understand isn’t a big deal for some people but I have allergies. I tried to at least eat some fries but they’re cold too. This is not the first time i’ve had a bad experience at this location, and every time I go back to it, I understand why I stop.

This location was super clean! My son just has his 1st Happy Meal here and the high chairs were even clean!  I just can't express how impressed we were! Great job guys!

The manager that I spoke to she was very rude and told me that I had to call corporate in order to get my sandwich fixed. They made my order twice and she said she made it personally herself and it was still wrong and then got nasty with me every time I come here there is nasty attitude from management and employees. They don’t care about their customer service, and it clearly shows.

They charge extra money to put liquid sugar in ice coffee. Apparently they're too stupid to know regular sugar doesnt dissolve in cold liquid. So they are charging extra to simply do their job correctly. Soon the menu prices will only reflect the price of the burger, uncooked. Gotta pay extra for them to cook it.

It all starts with the quality of service.  And if they are not willing to give a good service, it is difficult for them to give you an acceptable product.  If you have a hard time being warm and friendly because you work the night shift, just switch shifts.  Although lately it doesn't matter what time you go to Mc Donald's, they are always in a bad mood.

Not a single employee cares about doing their job correctly . Every single time i go in for doordash the rack is empty and i have to wait 5 10 sometimes 15 minutes to get anyones attention that i am here for doordash. And the whole time they keep it hidden arouns the corner so you must ask for it as they ALL ignorw you i refuse to take mcdonalds offers anymore

Ordered 2 large sodas was charged for 3. Brought error to employee taking orders. He told me to tell them at the pick up window. Young girl at window was told  but she was trying to give us someone else's order. Tried to tell her again but she mumbled something in foreign language and shoved the 3 sodas out the window. I gave up, paid and took the sodas. Won't  repeat that visit.

Quite comfy. Free internet and great food. Though I'd say that I'd definitely just order through the app, there's always a line, so it's a good way to avoid pointlessly waiting in line when you can just order even before you arrive the coffee store.

Not my favorite but it's "OK" it's always really crowded and noisy. Didn't like the attitude of one of the cashiers, there was a person behind me waiting to order and the cashier told in a very rude way "to move". I was getting my order in the next cashier and wasn't invading hers so I didn't get why she wanted me to "move myself ", the cashier that was taking my order apologized and the other one just rolled her eyes. But I noticed she was rude to everyone hurrying people even worse if they were elderly. The trash cans were over full that was a bit nasty.

They served me a tall capuccino and it was only a little more than half a cup and the rest was only foam, when I told them, the barista told me that capuccino was served with lots of foam... I know what a capuccino is, and how much it weights on my hand, and it was not complete. I asked the baristabto make my beverage again and he refused. Never coming back to this particular shop.

Perfect please to go on a date. Recommend it if you want to impress a girl.

Standard convenience coffee we all know.  Only con is that seldom there is waiting line to order.  So visit without hurry.

actually my favorite place in SLP.  But for a week now, an extremely unpleasant, high-pitched sound has been shrilling through the room at short, irregular intervals.  Hard to take...

Slow service and a little inconsistent. I’ve had burnt milk more than once and usually get way too much foam (seriously excessive). However, the staff are friendly and the baked goods are nice.

The staffs can speak in English and they are also kind and friendly. There is a girl staff who is very excellent and professional to make drinks

I really love this place, it's my favorite coffee shop, I bought a white mocha with lactose free milk, the place is always lim, the employeers are friendly, and it have big parking, starbucks is in one of the main avenues, near to a HEB, I went with my family and I liked my experience, you have the posibility to order different coffees, teas, breads, in other words different kind of food and drinks, hot and cold drinks, and you have the option to personalize your drink. You can buy thermos, bags and other things. For me it's the best place to pass time with friends, family and coworkers.

I had my car parked there less than 30 mins and it was broken into and robbed. Don’t go to this Starbucks.

I recommend to go before traffic start like 7am if you go when traffic start you might have only milk in your cappuccino
