Great post Sidewalk Cinema stop! This was my first visit to the Pizitz Food Hall and though I went to see a movie, I was delighted to see a restaurant serving “bubble tea”or “boba” which I last had in New Orleans. Since my visit, I’ve found myself twice trying to explain bubble tea to the uninitiated. That is not an easy task! I love it whether it’s milk tea with boba or a thicker smoothie style. This time I went with their Lavender Milk Tea and had lychee jellies added in addition to the bobas. It was wondrously tasty! While my order was being made, I took time to check other places in Pizitz Food Hall. Lots of options for future visits, but definitely something from Thirstea. I didn’t see it on their menu, but an avocado smoothie style bubble tea would be nice.

I've never had a reaction to food but 3 days later I still have a sore throat. The horchata boba I got had a sour after taste and boba with an awful texture. I stopped drinking after I had about 1/4 but within 10 minutes my throat was immediately raw. Now I've never had a reaction to horchata or boba or again any other food so I have no clue what happened here, but I will never be coming back that's for sure. To top it off my friends who got boba as well didn't get the sore throat issue but also didn't finish their boba due to off flavors and terrible tapioca.

The entire experience was great! The Boba was good and the workers were amazing! 10/10!

I got the Taro and it was quite awful, I couldn't drink more than a sip or two. Not sure what happened, and the people were very nice, but the flavor tasted very off and it was far too sweet (although I had forgotten to ask for less sugar). The flavor was certainly not taro though

I ordered a smoothie made with coconut, pineapple, mango, and almond milk. (DELICIOUS!!) My daughter ordered a Vietnamese tea with boba. The service was EXCELLENT!! The story behind the young girl working there is sad and unfortunate...SMH! She does EXCELLENT work!! I hope that things work out better for you!!
