I love the pick up service. They are fast and pretty accurate. The staff is always very polite and friendly. The app has tricked me a few times when it comes to product size:price ratios. Lol The pictures can look the same. I've been able to get free shipping without the membership, using the minimum purchase amount.
I'm 57 years old and this is by far the worst Walmart I have ever shopped at. I ordered an item online and it's very clear the color I selected was black. One single item. So I order it for pickup and I go to the store and drive to the section labeled pickup. I only see parking spots labeled nine and higher. The Walmart app only lists check-in up to spot's number 8. So where do I even check in? I tell the guy and he says okay I'll get your item. The app doesn't show that I'm checked in so I have no idea if he's just too busy and blows me off or whatever. So then I call the store and they direct me to that department which never answers the phone. So I call the store again and asked to speak to the manager and they send me to customer service then I asked to speak to manager again and finally after speaking to the manager and explaining the whole situation, she forwards me to that same department which I said didn't answer in the first place. So finally the guy does come out and gives me my item and it's the wrong darn color. This place wasted 1 hour of my time on the day before Christmas Eve. Again the worst place ever
HUGE store! Great selections, and you'll often find mark-downs when you go in person. They have a clearance aisle near the Lawn & Garden section. Their app and online ordering are usually good, too, but of course since we're all feeling the pinch of inflation, I think the delivery fees are a bit much. Customer service is OK, but could be better. The selection and prices in the pet section can be lifesavers compared to pet stores.
The other day I had to make a quick pit stop and came across this young man named Carlos. He was polite, welcoming and helpful. He asked about my day, also helped me pick snacks for my grandkids! OVERALL best experience I’ve had at Walmart. Praise to the employee named Carlos and hopefully management recognizes this young man.
Open up some lanes to check out!!!! Also, work on your employees' attitudes. It has become the worst customer service around. Except the service desk. They do a good job. Everyone else ignores you and tries to get away before you can ask a question. Also, not sure what's up with inventory. It's all over the place making it hard to navigate. For a disabled person, it's nearly impossible! The isles were so blocked that I had to backtrack 5 isles to go around....not good. If it gets better, I'll let you know.
