Definitely would not recommend for pick ups. The store is in a plaza with other stores and restaurants and people at those other places take up all the pickup parking spots. Forced to either go in and get your things or try to inconveniently park in the street for them to bring it to your car. Also guest service is a mess and understaffed. Lines are always long and wrapped around that small section
First time visiting this location and it was a very decent experience. Store was reasonably clean, shelves were stocked, and overall a very good experience compared to the Walmart in Duluth. A definite recommend if you are in the area.
The Chamblee GA Walmart is my favorite - it seems to get even better as time goes on. I don't especially like self-check-out but they have upgraded the process to make it quick and easy. Employees are very helpful, when and if needed.
This is a convenient location and I really dig the underground parking that helps you stay out of the rain, but as usual Walmart staff just leaves a lot to be a desired. I was trying to use a Visa gift card and they refused to even try to enter the number when the virtual card wouldn't work, even though I had just activated it. I should have just gone through the self checkout, which is a sad statement considering that's what cashiers are supposed to do, right, help you with your transaction?
Per usual, it's real hit or miss (more miss) whether you will find stuff on the shelves or not. All the standard Walmart cleanliness & organization problems are here too, in addition to staff unfriendliness. But it's better than some of the other WM in the city like Cleveland Avenue in East Point or Church Street in Decatur.
My God this store has a bit of everything. I was having a pleasant experience while shopping here today until I witnessed an old caucasian man completely disrespect 2 Walmart employees when they tried to aid him in his self check out..because he clearly did not know what he was doing. The place was packed and the old man started rudely yelling out loud to the 2 employees who were only trying to help him. I feel I need to say that the 2 employees were not caucasian. I could not believe my ears. The old man almost brought me out of character when I heard him speak so ugly to the 2 workers. I must brag on the 2 workers. Eden, and Mohamed were super professional and after I told the old man he was out of line and to calm down, they calmly continued to help the man(can't say gentleman) even though the man was still a bit rude. You just don't see such professionalism any more. Great job Eden and Mohamed! After not shopping at Walmart for ages, I will be back to this store simply because I know you two work there.
