Walmart Supercenter

Several workers are dishonest and rude. I went to make a return and they tried to get away with only refunding 2 of my items when I gave them three. I have caught them doing this twice in the last month so it is on purpose. Looks like these people are stealing from the customers. Also when using self checkout I was double charged. The system only peeped one but charged twice. You really can't trust this store. If you complain they will act like your doing something wrong.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Walmart, and I must say, it was an outstanding experience. From the moment I stepped through the doors, I was impressed by the level of cleanliness and the warm atmosphere created by the friendly staff. First and foremost, the cleanliness of the store was remarkable. Every aisle I walked through was impeccably organized, with neatly arranged shelves and fully stocked products. The floors were spotless, and I could tell that great care was taken to maintain a hygienic environment. It was evident that Walmart places a strong emphasis on cleanliness, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable shopping experience for its customers. Furthermore, the staff at this particular Walmart location were exceptional. From the moment I entered, I was greeted with warm smiles and helpful assistance. The employees were not only knowledgeable about the store layout and product availability but were also genuinely friendly and eager to assist customers. Whether I had a question about a specific item or needed guidance in finding a particular department, the staff went above and beyond to ensure I had a positive experience. The level of friendliness extended beyond the customer service desk. Even fellow shoppers seemed to embody a sense of camaraderie and politeness. It was refreshing to witness people holding doors for one another, engaging in friendly conversations, and creating an overall welcoming atmosphere. This positive energy added an extra layer of enjoyment to my shopping trip. I was also impressed by the variety and quality of products available at this Walmart location. The store boasted an extensive selection, catering to a range of needs and preferences. From fresh produce to household essentials, electronics, and clothing, I found everything I was looking for and more. The aisles were well-organized, making it easy to navigate and find what I needed quickly. In addition to the outstanding cleanliness, friendly staff, and diverse product range, Walmart also offered convenient services. The checkout process was efficient, with ample registers open to minimize wait times. The store also had an easily accessible pharmacy and a well-stocked grocery section, making it a one-stop shop for all my needs. Overall, my visit to Walmart was nothing short of exceptional. The store's commitment to cleanliness, the friendly and helpful staff, the wide selection of products, and the overall positive atmosphere made it a truly remarkable shopping experience. I wholeheartedly recommend this particular Walmart location to anyone in search of a clean, friendly, and enjoyable shopping environment.

It's bad enough that the prices have become so high that people can barely afford groceries, but now you have to bring your own bags or buy theirs. So now, you check yourself out, bag your own groceries in your own bags, and have your receipt scrutinized at the exit. All of these things without any assistance from the staff. You would think that with the money they're saving on employees, they could pass that on to the customers with some grocery discounts.

I didn't explore the entire store, but my first biggest con is that there is no fresh deli or bakery. That being said, I made numerous trips here within two weeks as I was staying at the hotel behind and it was incredibly convenient. I was hassled twice by two men on separate occasions offering my baby and I a ride in the parking lot whilst walking, even after I'd said no, but that is at no fault to the store. Just would like it to be known if it is a constant thing, I was just visiting the area however. Back to the store, I found it mostly neat and comfortable every visit. Everyone I spoke to was very kind and I suspect the employees work hard because there were one or two individuals I'd see late night and then the next day late morning working [again]. Mostly the items I needed were easy to find, I like their kids section and that they have a better selection of boys clothing and not just an overabundance of young girls stuff to pick through. They had an easy to browse Clearance rack I enjoyed perusing. I didn't realize this county is 10,000 more populous than where I'm from, but I thought for this Walmart being rather small they had an excellent selection of everything I needed (other than no deli/bakery). I found it troublesome that the chips aisle is in the very back of the store past kitchenware and whatever else is back there, and not with like snack items. I had paced every aisle three times before finally asking for help. Overall, I found their prices to be low and especially their infants items I needed, very noteworthy for parents just getting by. Also they had a poster display I haven't seen in a decade, the kind in plastic sheets you flip through. Lastly, I'd like to commend one gal working the self checkouts who easily figured out pricing an item I'd had that the tag had came off, but it was the last one and I really wanted it and usually my experience the cashier will take the item to be retagged and stocked, so I deeply appreciate that of her. $-$$ Sept'22

Walmart Newport Oregon has greatly improved the management team and the reflection is seen when interacting with staff throughout the store with engaging, attentive and knowledgeable team members. As I shopped I also heard staff laughing and enjoying customers. Attitudes are everything and this Walmart has won myself and others back to shop locally. There are more products available in all departments which was noticeable over the last 6 months. Great Job Walmart and that means Great Job to the Workers!
