Tasty Baghdad Restaurant

This was my first time trying this place and I’m so happy I did!! The servers were really patient and helpful during this unique experience. For my appetizer I ordered a delicious and creamy hummus that came with super soft bread. The spices were on point! This was probably my favorite part of the meal. Unfortunately I had to take my main plate Togo, but they offered m me some tea while I waited! I ordered the mixed grill, which was lamb and chicken. They told me it was a popular dish to order for your first time visiting! However, I think because I had to take it home, the food wasn’t as fresh (not their fault) and the meat was a bit tough & not as seasoned as I expected. I’m so glad I asked for their sauce, otherwise it would’ve been missing something. Regardless, it was still tasty and came in great portion! I also got the baklava dessert and it was pretty good! I’m definitely going to come back and try the Quzi and for sure going to order that hummus again!!

The food and the service was great. Didn't care for the salty milk but everything else we had was delicious. Our server was very helpful with the menu and the dessert we ordered was light smooth creamy and had the perfect amount of sweetness.

First time trying Tasty Baghdad today and was not disappointed! Food was excellent and the service was great! Probably the best hummus I have ever had, and the beef shawarma sandwich was great as well. Can't wait to go back and try other dishes!

Absolutely excellent. We ordered the lentil soup, lamb chops, and mixed grill. All of the meat was perfectly seasoned AND tender AND juicy. Portion sizes were fantastic as well. Definitely will return! Amazing service and quality!

As a conference attendee in Kansas City, my search for a good restaurant led me to Tasty Baghdad, and it exceeded my expectations. The babaganush and hummus were excellent representations of traditional Middle Eastern cuisine, offering authentic flavors and textures. The cool atmosphere, paired with soothing Arabic music, added to the overall dining experience, creating a relaxed and enjoyable setting. Manar, our server, impressed us with her ability to communicate in multiple languages, making us feel at ease and catering to our specific food preferences. Manar's exceptional service extended to accommodating our complex food requests, ensuring that we had a memorable dining experience. Even after the meal, our specific tea order was met with enthusiasm and precision, highlighting the restaurant's dedication to customer satisfaction. In summary, my visit to Tasty Baghdad Restaurant was a memorable and delightful culinary journey.
