We were involved in a single vehicle mishap on our way home at 2am-ish after vending at the Boone Co. Fairgrounds, flea show 3pm to midnight. We parked at this Shell station after realizing we couldn't drive back home to Hanover Park because of flat tires. The station opened at 5am. Can't buy a car wash at the pump - need to buy gas, then go inside to buy car wash.
The car wash itself looked very dirty and old. My car got cleaned, so it did the job. But I was kinda grossed out.
OMG...the manager at this location is awful! Her and the cashier were swearing and talking about the customers in such a derogatory manner that I left my stuff on a display and walked out. There were 5 people in line and these 2 employees were just ranting and raving about a woman at the pump. Who treats their customers that way? It's such a shame that my company has an account with them. I will go out of my way to never stop at this location again.
The guy helping the customers around 620 pm have to be remove or retrained i ask him if have to put my number in the machine to get the discount he tell me to shut up very rude he have to know how to respect ill never go again inside if he is going to be that rude to me to avoid problems...
Wish I could give 0 stars as a rewards member and part of a company thats uses Shell Fleet Fuel I have NEVER been more disappointed and treated ao disrespectfully. Try to enter my rewards number and the pump continued to bring me back to the start when I selected no wash not even coming to a scanning card option. When trying to explain to the cashier he was extremely rude cutting me off and stated its not that hard. This location has lost my company's business which in being someone who averages $300 in a month on my own in gas it was a big mistake to hire someone like him.
