Good location, poor place to try to build your rewards. Featured reward purchases are not available, and I’ve been looking for 3 weeks now.

No pricing on lots of products in the store, so you don't know what you're going to pay until you take it to the counter. I grabbed two bottles of Sunkist soda from the shelf on earlier this week. The man at the counter rings one up and tells me it's $0.99 and the other is $2.79.
There was no pricing on the shelf, and only one of the bottles had a price on it. ($0.99) When told this, I let the man behind the counter no that I did not want the second bottle.
Today, I go in to get a fountain drink. It is clearly marked, but when I get to the register, this same guy from earlier in the week tries to tell me it's twice as much. I ask to speak to his manager. He says he is the manager. I ask what the name of the owner is. He says he is the owner. Only after all this, does he say "Joke. Joke... Just Joke." Not funny.
The neighborhood fought hard to keep this station out. I was happy to see a convenience store in the neighborhood at that point. However, with the way this place is being run, it is isn't very convenient, and their pricing isn't very transparent, or honest.
Pumped gas here today and to my surprise my tanked was filled with premium, DESPITE MY SELECTING REGULAR UNLEADED. When I started the pump it had a glitch that kept instructing me to replace the nozzle, then to remove and select grade. I did this THREE times. I'm guess the hose attached to the pump hit the premium button, as it is right next to where the pump is housed. I go inside to ask for a receipt and tell them I didn't select premium and something wasn't right...a whopping difference of $13. At these prices it doesn't matter, but the way he chose to handle the situation is unacceptable. He said perhaps I was on the phone and pressed the wrong button (I wasn't and I didn't), then he suggested that I needed Premium anyhow (I suppose he's an expert, but I take the advice of my dealership when they say it's recommended, not required). He did everything besides apologize for the error. We even stuffed more gas into my car to see if there was a pump error and he also had to place and remove the pump several times, only this time the tube didn't hit the red premium button next to the nozzle (lucky him). He again says I must have selected premium (I didn't) and tells me to come back tomorrow. He wasted 15 minutes of my day over $13 and the need to be right. FIX YOUR PUMPS SO THEY WORK PROPERLY THE FIRST TIME. I now know why my community does not support this station. I only stopped here out of necessity as it was, but WILL NEVER RETURN !
I just came through the store, the young girl running the register should have really just stayed home. Bad service and attitude. I have worked this job before on 3rd shift. It is a thankless and boring job, but it is yours to do. That is what you are being paid for. Service has really fallen since you opened.

Love Shell gas ... the windshield wiper juice left out for public usage was putrid... but the gas was great
