It’s a gas station. I get my gas here. The price has always been the same at the pump as on the sign. On the occasions that I go in to get a drink, they had what I wanted.
Stopped by to grab some gas. First pump accepted my card and was ready to pump, but when I pulled the handle nothing happened. Talked to the cashier, she said to try a different pump. So I moved to another one (which was difficult -- nearly half the pumps were already 'out of order') and tried again. I ran my card and it said 'please see cashier', so I went in and prepaid. Went back out and the handle still wouldn't actually start the pump. I went back in and told the cashier, and she went to get her manager. The manager checked the fuel tank readout inside the store, said the underground tank had gas, and said he had no idea why it wasn't working. He asked me if I would mind paying for a higher grade fuel, which I wasn't willing to do. So he told the cashier just to void the transaction and refund my prepaid amount. He didn't even bother leaving the store to investigate the pumps themselves. I ended up having to find another gas station nearby that had working equipment and a manager that actually cared about my business. Avoid this dump.
Bait & switch! Price at the pump ($2.89) is higher than the posted price on the street signage. Go to Circle K north of the fwy; better prices with no gimmick.
I stopped in here a few days ago for a beverage & some lottery tickets. It appeared to be clean and the employee was very friendly. I read the previous reviews and laughed at the customer who bought a cancer causing item and was irritated it was expired (or past its "best by" date as most things have changed to) as if that should be the main concern. Buyer beware, always check dates as some items are maintained by vendors and not the retailer. As for the review complaining about "switch & bait" and posted photo of street sign, I suggest next time they read above the posted gas price where it basically states you have to buy a car wash to save 10¢ per gallon. Some people only see what they want to see.
This place has false advertising. They will advertise a price on the street that is cash only price but there's no signs at all that say cash only. this is very misleading on their gas prices and unethical business practices. I will report them to shell.
