Holy cow. Needed to fill up tank before heading to Golden. I noticed $5.27/gallon. Figured I couldn't fill my tank up with this rocket fuel at this price, so I only put 1 gallon in. Drove to Golden where I filled up at $3.19 a gallon. I was always told most gas came from the same refinery, but these clowns must be buying from NASA.
Alright. You all have read what everyone else has said, and it’s all true. Price gouging is unreal. $6/gal or more here. Now let’s address Shell “corporate’s” copy and paste excuse they’ve given to everyone else. Yeah, this place is a scam organization run by dirtbag people, but when Shell claims that they take things like this very seriously what they really mean is “we pay an intern nothing to tell people we take this seriously, but plan on doing exactly zero about it”. Just go get gas somewhere else other than this redneck outpost.
No price for gas on the sign. Come to find after pumping that’s it’s outrageous expensive. Staff was not pleasant either. This location is wasted on whoever owns this gas station.

We didn't buy gas here, but the cars on display made it a must stop. It is on the way to Eldorado Canyon.
