Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory

One of my favorite places to visit in Lagrange! Why? Because they have the best staff, delicious chocolate treats, and the caramel apples are sooo fresh and divine! Each time I go, I have to try a new apple flavor because there are so many to choose from! Just FYI, I purchased 2 apples but only one made it home for me to take a picture of lol!

They’ve “made some changes” they now charge per piece of candy instead of by the pound and they have changed their recipes. Nothing is actually sweet and everything tastes like wax. This place was a childhood staple but now I wouldn’t be surprised if their shop is empty in the next year or so. Never returning as a customer. $40 for a pound of basically chocolate wax. Just go save yourself and go down the street to Fannie May instead. I wish I could give 0 stars.

Yesterday at this location I recieved incredible service from Sophia! From the minute I walked through the doors, and the entire time we chatted about chocolate and the holidays! Thanks for being so kind, patient and helpful!! ..all with a smile!! Ps, my apple & peanuts butter cup we're absolutely delicious!!!!!

We were rocking around the outdoor craft fair in LaGrange and stopped in a couple of stores along the way. We wandered in here because my friend wanted to pick up something for their wife. Upon entering I get to see all the wonderful chocolate creations that I really shouldn't be eating. Sometimes walking into a sweet shop as a diabetic can be challenging. Luckily for me I knew I really couldn't get anything because it wouldn't transport well. If I hadn't had such a large breakfast that morning I might have gotten something very small just to munch on while we walked around. We spent a little bit of time chatting with the woman working behind the counter who was very friendly. I have shopped in their stores in past years usually in malls. This location has a bit of old world feel to it with the counters filled with all kinds of wonderful chocolate candies and treats. I do love these types of stores and if it had been earlier in my trip I probably would have gotten something to enjoy while traveling.

Great selection of apples, truffles, clusters, pretzels and more! Their chocolate is so delicious. They have a wide selection of apples and chocolates. I highly recommend this place for a sweet gift or something for your significant other.
