This isn't the first time I've had bad customer swrvive at this Rite Aid. Sick of the excuse their short staffed everywhere is short staffed. Mandates made places short staffed get use to it. Every time I go in to pick up a prescription the techs have attitudes. Sunday morning I called to have a refill and was unable to get the refill (has 3 refills) so left a message for a call back never received a call back so later that day I went in and was told the prescription would be ready the next day well it wasn't and it wasn't when I went in today. I went home waited 20 minutes because they said it would be ready then and it wasn't as a matter of fact I got the wrong prescription I went in for. Had to go back for the third time. Incompetent at best. I wish Allenstown had another pharmacy to choose from.

Only leaving one star because of the store cleanliness and 0 stars isn't an option. The pharmacy is the WORST. Multiple visits, days, and hours waiting just to get one prescription. There are five+ people behind the counter and yet everyone moves at a snail's pace. I asked today to have my prescription (that wasn't filled yet after 2 visits and 5+ hrs since my doctor submitted) to be transferred and was told to call myself and questioned "can't you wait 15 minutes?" I did wait...for 5+ hours since my appointment and since my first trip to pick it up an hour ago. They also talk condescendingly to each other in clear sight and earshot of the customers. Like two people communicating with me in some twisted telephone game. Spare yourself the headache and drive to literally ANY other pharmacy.

The drive-through was broken yesterday, well not broken I guess they have bees and the store manager doesn’t feel like taking some wasp killer off the shelf and fixing that, so vulnerable people who are high risk for Covid have to go into the store to pick up prescriptions, last time I was in the store someone in the pharmacy area was coughing nonstop. I recommend Wallgreens, their drive-through always works and they actually keep medication in stock. Half the medication I’m prescribed Rite Aid refuses to have on hand, so I always have to wait until I run out before they will order more. Stuff like allergy spray, come on. I understand why you might not stock obscure things, I don’t think allergy nasal spray is such an odd item, but even if it is, if you know regular customer gets one every three weeks can you maybe just order one? Never mind I know the answer to that, that’s why I go to Walgreens now. Updated because I am really frustrated this pharmacy buys the cheapest, worst, most ineffective generics they possibly can. (for example they buy fake adderall and sell it as if it’s real) I picked a prescription up yesterday in a bottle I had to assemble myself (thanks for your help pharmacists) the pieces don’t fit, and most of the medicine ended up on my floor. It was liquid so not only was it completely wasted but then I immediately had to wash the whole floor and my body so nobody gets overdosed or whatever from it. Now I don’t have this medication for a month until I can refill it again, because they want to buy the cheapest, worst, most bootleg generic medication they can possibly find. Never ever again. By the way, I shouldn’t have to use some kind of scammy social media owned by billionaires who sell our personal medical information to Facebook just to contact the Rite Aid customer care, so I won’t. That’s not Customer service nobody should be forced to use social media to contact Customer service. Is this place run by TEENAGERS?!

Rude blonde girl purposely messed my prescription refill and I could see her smiling and smirking as I was speaking to the man that was waiting on me, it was very obvious as she wasn't speaking to anyone else. She moves like it's a chore to be there. She's just awful. Never had an issues with anyone else. They need a better and quicker system to check out, it takes forever. I know my name is made public and I expect retaliation when I go back for my messed up refill.

Incompetent at best, and the condescending demeanor is the icing on the cake. *edited The blonde tech is always rude to everyone. The older pharmacist also very rude. Customer service is not their strong suit. They close the pharmacy completely for lunch, and the hours they close also vary. They are open when they feel like it, closed when they aren't feeling it. Drive through, who wouldnhabe thought. Do yourself a favor, drive to another pharmacy.
