I had never tried Pilates and really didn’t know anything about it. I’m more of a team sports player. I had tried a different form of exercise once (yoga)and did NOT like it. Jan offered a Pilates class near my workplace so it was convenient. I decided to blindly sign up for the 4 week class and I loved it the first time! Clear instructions and encouragement from Jan were very helpful for this newbie:) Just try it-you might like it!!
I attended my first Pilates class while at a fundraiser at Pilates Whole Body. Jan was great and I learned a lot! It was a really good workout and I plan on taking more classes from her.
Great experience! Jan is very knowledgable about how the whole body works together. If you have never tried reformer pilates you need to. If you are recovering from an injury or wanting a low impact workout that emphasizes on core strength, posture, body alignment and strength, Jan will provide a great workout for you. As a former instructor of reformer pilates, I would highly recommend Jan!
Oh! How I have missed doing Pilates and Jan is the real deal! After a several year hiatus from the practice, I connected with Jan and have found a renewed sense of awareness and functionality with Jan’s instruction and guidance. I look forward to our weekly workouts and already have noticed a significant improvement in balance and strength in just a couple of sessions. Thank you, Jan!😀
Great experience! Jan is a wonderful, capable teacher. She was knowledgeable about the causes of different muscle pain and knew specific exercises to target them. She was patient and encouraging and made the instructions easy to understand and follow. Would definitely recommend it!
