Paris Baguette

I recently visited Paris Baguette in Streeterville for the first time and was immediately impressed. The bakery boasts a clean, fresh, and beautifully designed interior, creating a very refreshing atmosphere. Kudos to the designer for such a welcoming space! The customer service was commendable. The team's effort to be curious and attentive added a nice touch to the overall experience, making me feel valued as a customer. My culinary journey here included several items. First, the coffee was a standout – it was fresh, smooth, and utterly delicious, a perfect start. However, the coffee donut didn't hit the mark for me. Despite its appealing look, it was overly sweet and too flaky, not aligning with my taste preferences. The egg salad sandwich was another item I tried. It had an excessive amount of filling, prompting me to remove some. Unfortunately, even after that adjustment, I found it unpalatable for my tastes. A pleasant surprise was the egg and cheddar cheese sandwich. On my request, they heated it, which enhanced its flavors beautifully. This sandwich was delightful and became the highlight of my visit. I'm already planning my next visit to Paris Baguette. The cake looks tempting, and I'm eager to try it out. Despite some misses, the overall experience was positive, and I look forward to exploring more of their menu.

The newly-opened Paris Baguette on Illinois Street is a welcome addition to the Streeterville neighborhood. Already I have sampled delicious pastries and sandwiches. No doubt I will be a frequent customer at this bakery.

French ? Are you kidding ! This place is very expensive and low quality pastry mostly donuts! I was excited to have a store like this in Streetervile ! I'm very disappointed! I suggest you hire a real french backer and I will pay your high prices ! Please, no DONUTS!

I have been to other Paris Baguette before and I think there's a lot of improvements that need to be done here. If you order drinks, be sure to wait a very long time and to not be taken care of - be attentive of who is first. I went there today and order a croissant and a latte. My drink took 35 minutes to be prepared!! Worse than that they gave my drink to another person that ordered way after me just because she said she was there for 20 minutes. I am sure she wasn't! Also the matcha was dark greyish green so it seems to be prepared in advance before mixed with milk. Not great, possibly not safe. I Do not recommend if you want something to drink quickly. Employees take forever to prepare drinks, move very very slowly, even mix the drink super slow - it is ridiculous to watch. It should not take this long. There's lack of organization also. Moreover, I saw another family having to ask for their drinks 2 times before being given their drinks and they were waiting way longer than me. Drinks are not prepared by order of arrival or any order whatsoever. Horrible experience! Pastries/sweets/bread are good but not French... it is more like asian type of deserts. My suggestion is for you to get the service better and faster. Talk with your baristas, train them and make them more organized which ultimately will make them more effective and faster. It would also be better to have a better track system for drinks so people that have been waiting for longer don't get screwed. Not sure if I'll be back until these changes are implemented. A waste of time.

Served a cold latte and when returned did not apologize and instead steamed the espresso and the milk again burning the flavor. No apology either.
