Spectacular!
Definitely our favourite accommodation during our trip to Spain - out of all the paradores we stayed in, this was by far the best one. Not only is it located conveniently within the old and beautiful town of Caceres, but the rooms are renovated to an exceptionally high standard with all modern amenities and lots of natural light and space. Very comfortable bedding, and lots of attention to detail in the two old houses that now form the hotel. Unfortunately, it rained during our stay - and large puddles formed themselves around the windows both in the room and at the breakfast restaurant. This didn't bother us during our stay, but for a four-star hotel, it should be fixed.
Note that the parking situation is a little bit complex as there's no parking in front of the hotel, which requires either parking outside the old town (and walking 10min), or paying 22EUR per day for their garage.
Beautiful historic accommodation in the heart of Cáceres.
The parador is beautifully restored and rooms very comfortable. We travelled with a baby and the room had a wooden cot, free of charge.
Luis on reception helped us unload the car before we parked in the public car park we booked online (one of the recommended options they email to you). He was very helpful and courteous on both days of our stay.
Breakfast was good, lots of choice. As it was summer we enjoyed it in the shady garden.
A great choice if you are visiting Cáceres.
Our family of four enjoyed our stay at this parador. The staff was friendly and attentive, the service was good, and the rooms were comfortable. We booked two superior rooms, but 103 was extra special: it was a very spacious cave/wine cellar with all the modern amenities. We had breakfast and dinner at their restaurant – food was very good. The location is perfect – right in the historic town. For this reason, parking spaces are scant, but the hotel provides a few parking choices. It’s worth paying the $24 per night for their parking garage nearby. Nice parador in a great location!
A 4 star hotel located in Old Town Caceres. The town itself is world heritage listed. It has a lovely restaurant which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is an elevator to get to the upper levels. You can not park at the hotel, and parking is scarce around the town. All the streets are cobbled.
My stay at this Parador was fantastic. It is a luxurious 4 star hotel that lives up to star rating in terms of quality and service. The hotel itself is a beautiful medieval palace, with large rooms, well decorated, comfortable, and a fantastic plush bathroom. The restaurant was fabulous, and both the service from the front desk staff as well as the restaurant was superb. Most definitely recommend this upscale hotel.
