McDonald's

Terrible place to stop. I was traveling through, needed a bathroom break and was also hungry. Had to wait 15 minutes to pay for my food. I ordered at the kiosk but couldn't pay. So finally I got to at the counter. After another 10 minutes, I finally got my food. To my disappointment, there was no meat. I subtracted one of the patties to just 1 instead of 2. But there was none. And they had no ketchup for my fries. Which is nothing in comparison to having no meat on my burger. The staff wasn't very friendly. You could tell they were just doing what they absolutely had to. A man ahead of me politely asked for his drinks after waiting at least 5 or more minutes. A lady from the back had an attitude and yelled "they're working on it". He finally got his drinks. I will never stop here to eat. But maybe to use the bathroom. The 2 starts is for their lemonade. It was delicious. I came outside to eat because I didn't want to be in there listening to them.

Food was fine it came out fast. Employees avoided customers and were more interested in socializing than taking orders. Ladies room was dirty. Dining room seemed reasonably clean.

This place is horrible. First we sat at drive-thru for about 5 minutes before anyone took our order. After we ordered and paid they told us to wait at the end of the building for our order. A few minutes later our order came and they forgot to put mayo on my burger and the fries were cold and chewy. My husband pulled around to go inside to request mayo and fresh fries and the door was locked; it was 8:56pm. So we pulled around to drive-thru again to ask for fresh fries and to add mayo to my burger. The lady took the bag and a few minutes later gave a bag with "fresh fries" that wasn't so fresh. She proceeded to tell us to pull to the end of the building to wait for my burger. A short time later they handed us a bag and we pulled off. Once I opened the burger it was cold and had what looked like a whole tube of mayo on it! Its also worth noting my husbands burger was so salty he couldn't even eat it. This was an absolute waste of money.

The whole operation is focused on drive-thru clients. The kiosk experience inside the stores just sucks. No one is at the counter as they are all busy shoving brown bags out the windows at the drive thru lane. I used the table marker and entered that number with my order so that the food would be delivered to my table. I waited, waited, waited, and watched thru the windows as the conga line of cars passed by having their orders filled. I returned to the unmanned counter to learn the status of my order. No one was interested in helping. They just kept shoving stuff out the window. After 12 minutes,a staff member finally hollered out my order of a medium-sized fish sandwich meal + 1 hamburger. Nothing special. I returned the table marker to the counter. So much for the McDonalds offer, "we'll deliver to your table." Food was as expected. But, the focus on drive-thru is a poor policy. What happened to those bright-eyed cheery people that gave the greeting "Welcome to McDonald's. May I take your order?" Now it's a big, cold touch screen. Just close the seating area and expand the window service or return to servo-mation ffod service from the 1950s where food is hidden behind little doors. Once you pay, the door opens. Whatever. Just know that I won't be back.

We were here on a busy Saturday morning and they were getting orders out efficiently despite a crowd. Our order was accurate, no complaints. The order kiosks are nice too, we heard two old ladies complain that they were too complicated but as long as you're just barely tech literate, I prefer them so you can have the whole menu in front of you without holding up a line.
