MOD Pizza

Dinner last night. Pizza was 4 stars. The woman on the phone seemed to have a hard time. Because I went here before, I knew to order for pick-up at 6 and then get there at 5:50, so I could get it (my pizza) fresh. So, it ended up being not bad overall. To compromise, I would end up giving this place a 3.5 out of 5 star rating. I would say I know good pizza combinations fairly well in general.

Holy pepperoni! Wow was the pizza yummy! We were in town for a doc apt and hubs found via a Google search and we gave a try. We each did a mod size pizza and I was worried we would be late but it was super fast! You tell them what you want on your pizza and they make it front of you then in the wood fire oven it goes. The pizza was done before I finished filling my drink! I did a mix of traditional sauce and spicy..it was amazing but if spice bothers you go traditional sauce, onions, ricotta, mozzarella, pepperoni and mushrooms. You can pick tons of toppings. The staff was super friendly as well! We will definitely be back!

I hadn’t been to mod in about a year and decided to grab lunch there since I loved the caliexico last time. This time I ordered the same thing, and asked for no blue cheese. The employee acknowledged the request and then wrote no blue cheese on the ticket. I paid and waited for the food once it was done it wasn’t set for “to-go” like I asked and it had blue cheese on it….looked like blue cheese was crossed out? Not sure why. Didn’t end up eating it:/

Been coming here since 2017 and the food, plus service, are pretty consistent. N. Academy is our fave location in the Springs. Hands down.

BURNT PIZZA and no refund. The pizza was so burnt on the bottom that it wasn’t palatable. The first half wasn’t too bad, but it just got worse. Asked for at least a partial refund and the short female worker refused because part of it had been eaten. Kept saying that they were trained not to give refunds if any of the pizza was eaten. Clearly we weren’t trying to scam them, the pizza was BURNT! Was told it was because the oven has hot spots. So clearly, burning half the pizza and serving it is fine. Instead of, I don’t know, learning how to use the oven coy and avoid burning the pizzas.
