Kashi Atlanta Urban Yoga Ashram

I had a terrible experience with ytt. One of my "mentors" replied with anti black rhetoric when I came to her for guidance on the material. This stunned me so much I couldn't continue with the course. I felt spiritually violated. Several members at Kashi reached out to me to gaslight me about this experience. I tried to move forward but it no longer felt like a safe space to be learning about spirituality. There are many unhealthy dynamics here. Painful experience. I wish I could get my money and time back.

Kashi is a total blessing. Each instructor teaches from a place of love and knowledge. You are not rushed through during the sequences. Your body, mind and soul will thank you. I've done a few other classes before and none top Kashi. Namaste!!

I’ve been doing yoga at Kashi Atlanta since 2004. They are without question THE BEST yoga studio and so much more. Acharya Swami Jaya Devi is a master teacher and I have learned so much from her both on and off the mat. Kashi Atlanta walks the talk! They serve those in need and teach the profound power of service and gratitude. One upside to the pandemic has been live streaming with Kashi Atlanta from my current residence in California, because Kashi Atlanta is not just my favorite yoga studio, it is my spiritual home.

I attended the trans and queer yoga class. It was amazing!!! I'm brand new to yoga and it can be intimidating starting something new but the teacher made me feel totally comfortable and at ease. I will definitely be thing back it was a wonderful experience great physical activity but a wonderfully meditative experience as well. I feel good!

I've been going to Kashi for nearly 20 years and cannot overstate what a difference it's made in my life. I'm actively involved in the day to day workings of the ashram and recommend it as a place of solace and comfort. If you are serious about creating change in your life starting from the inside out, there's no better place in Atlanta!
