Kaʻū Coffee Mill

Great place to see a coffee farm, get FREE coffee tasting, and buy handcrafted drinks. There are two free coffee farm tours a day at 11am and 1pm. They don't have coffee tours on the weekend though. The gift shop smelled like coffee heaven! There is outside seating to enjoy your drinks, and they have a very clean public restroom. They also have a store in Kona if you just want to get some of their coffee.

This app has great products. My son and I came across it adventuring in 2016. I liked it enough to stop again on this trip with my wife. We got several items to bring home. The coffee products are not cheap, but they are a value based on the quality of the products. They have a covered car area just outside the shop and attached to the building. We did not explore that area, so I don't know what they have out there.

The coffee mill met all expectations. I visited on a Saturday afternoon, plenty of parking. I was able to purchase a cup of locally prepared coffee from bean to cup and the taste was incredible. Rest rooms were spotlessly clean. There was a large covered area between the store and restroom with a relatively large number of vacant tables. Anyone passing on the South side of the Big Island should allot an hour at this location.

They let you taste the coffee, and make sure to get their limited edition ones! Also sell other random products like nuts, honey and merchandise.

Pretty cute coffee place. They have a coffee shop up front for you to buy a cup of coffee or a bag of beans. You can sample the different types they have available before you choose which is nice. They have plenty of sitting area outside that overlooks the orchard. If you would like to walk around instead of sitting, they let you walk around the orchard. They also have free tours at 11 and 1 o'clock if you would like to know more about their process
