We had a great time!! Our tour guide was so nice, friendly and knowledgeable. We learned a lot and had fun. The tour included walking, some parts were steep so be careful. Parking was limited and tight but that’s the way it is in this region. Everyone on staff was super friendly and made our experience unforgettable. We stayed for 2 hours taking it all in. Highly recommend if you are looking for a personable down to earth inexpensive experience and a love of coffee helps. We bought tickets online the day of our visit.
If you love coffee, and want to learn how it is grown, harvested and roasted, visit Heavenly. We signed up for the coffee production tour. Got there a few minutes early and was offered some sample cups of coffee. There was a welcome station and the coffee employees were very friendly. We really liked out tour guide Rick - who is very passionate about coffee. Nice year to spend a few hours. Get there early - especially in the afternoon as parking is tight and there is a windy road to get up there.
Our family had a fantastic time visiting the Heavenly Hawaiian Coffee Farm and roasting our own Kona coffee! Our tour guide, Rick, was very knowledgeable and explained the Kona and peaberry coffee growing processes very well. Robert at the front desk helped us sign up for the coffee roasting class at the last minute and completed our souvenir purchase. Royce, our instructor at the Paniolo Roasting class, taught us a lot about coffee roasting. The farm is located close to Kona downtown and offers a stunning view of the Pacific Ocean. This is a great tour for families looking for a fun activity during their beach break.
Enjoyed our visit to the Heavenly Hawaiian Coffee Farm while we were on the Big Island on vacation. We took a coffee roasting class on a Saturday with Gavin. Gavin was great - he explained the whole coffee roasting process, provided recommendations on what to use for what kind of coffee and also told us some interesting stories about how coffee became a thing on the Big Island.
Apart from roasting classes, they also provide tours of the coffee farm, coffee brewing classes, brewed coffee tasting, and have a gift store on the farm that sells coffee and other related specialty products from the Big Island.
Definitely recommend visiting this place for a farm tour and brewing/ roasting class if you like coffee and are interested in doing something different on the Big Island.
Heavenly describes this place very well. Even if you don't want to take a tour, you can just relax there and taste the coffee. The view is incredible and the people are very nice. Bryce was so kind and gave us some insights in the coffee bean making process, from picking to roasting. I really enjoyed my visit at the farm
