Fresh Mediterranean Express

Fresh Mediterranean Express in Waukee - wow!! Haven’t had a 🇬🇷 meal that good in a hot second. Had a cllassic gyro, Mediterranean spiced fries, rose lemonade and baklava. The owner was very friendly and everything came out quickly. It was all so good. I have absolutely zero complaints. Extremely filling, delicious and very fresh meal (that we had leftovers of). Worth it! Try it!

I walked in to grab a snack to go while my husband did indoor golf next door, and I’m pretty sure this was the best food I’ve had in the DSM metro- and im a huge foodie. I was greeted so openly and excitedly and was offered guidance on what to order. The food was freaking fantastic. I just found my go to spot, and it is def not around the corner from my house. The trip will be well worth it. Thank you for the incredible experience!

Came in on a Saturday, when we arrived we were greeted immediately, the staff was friendly and helped my husband decide what to order. I ordered a gyro and Greek fries, my husband had a platter with gyro and red pepper hummus. We also got a drink which I'm not sure (I asked the woman taking care of us to surprise me) but was maybe a saffron lemonade, excellent flavor, I would go back just to drink it again. Every bite was absolutely phenomenal. Fresh ingredients, tasty through and through. Check them out, you will not regret it.

The fresh platter was good to share as a light dinner. Ingredients were very fresh with great Mediterranean flavors. Tables inside or on the outside patio makes this a good choice for lunch or dinner.
