Fancy bowl

Had a lunch meal here. I had never tried it and it was not busy. You are self seated when you arrive and then order at the front when you are ready. Then, the food was brought to the table. The food is conveniently given so you can package the leftovers to take home. Food was a cool variety of things that differ from the usual rice/noodles with whatever meat as well as tasty. We were in and out quickly and I am definitely wanting to try it again next time we are downtown SF!

Really great experience here!! The staff was friendly and helpful. I got the build your own poke bowl (recently discovered that I LOVE poke), and I got Tokyo spicy chicken as the protein. I love the way that you can fill out a sheet with exactly what you want for the bowl, and there are also some recommended combos as well. The sushi was good, but I will be coming back for another poke bowl!! (It looks small from the pic, but I got the small size and it was plenty. There’s a good amount of rice and other toppings underneath the chicken)

Lunch today was delicious! First time diner at Fancy Bowl, loved it! The dining room was clean and bright with contemporary music playing overhead. The friendly staff was making fresh batches of food right in front of us. We were served in a timely manner and our dishes were absolutely wonderful. Will definitely visit again!

I travel for work and like to do local when I can today I tried fried dumplings, Japanese fried rice and the beef Ramen bowl. I was very happy with the quality of food. Taste was amazing. Probably some of the best rice I've ever had. The brisket in the ramen was sooo good. I think the only "critique" I have is I prefer my egg yolk a little less cooked. Service was great too. If I come back to town I will stop by!

I walked in on a Thursday around 6pm and ordered a poke bowl to go. Order process was very easy and fast. The bowls automatically come with items that other restaurants consider toppings. My bowl was huge and personally it will last 2 meals. I’ll definitely return!
